Don't worry the novel don't have sad ending, it's happy ending bt zhu yan'll give her half life to shi ying to save him so they'll both live maybe untill 50 -60 years age not more. Other than this the ending is good, sweet bt before reaching it the angst'll be high.

U misunderstood. She seems to compare the characters. She thinks Yan Dan from immortal samsara is similar to Zhu Yan as both are kinda naive, innocent girl.

How r they toxic? In a previous quotes from gawake, Nafisya & many accounts before where the person said something negative points, none bashed as they seemed like giving an opinion. We won't say anyone bad if they see the drama give negative points by details review of drama which'll show they actually watched the drama not maliciously rating without watching. What people pointed & argued with are people who never watched bt gave 1 rating in new account, dramas how bad can't get 1 bcz casual passerby never gives it other than anti. & the people who gave 1 just say drama bad like u bt can't explain fully different detail drama plot bcz they didn't see. U can see other bad drama pages where people disliking it are watching fully & explaining what they don't like & it shows they are committed not like here before yuri anti account giving 1, after asking what she dislikes couldn't even say properly what it is as she didn't see & argued back without any point. Also no passerby'll ever create or use a new fake account like u just to give low rating 1 to a drama just bcz some fans may argue. I haven't seen casual passerby in mdl ever waste time like that. Go to drama episode rating & u'll see anti are rating episodes 1 rating which is not even aired yet. Also have to check the people’s morality just bcz some fans may disagree with u then u'll rate a drama low to take revenge for such a small thing disregarding the hardwork of the casts? Crazy. The chances of u being anti is high as it's or most dramas are not bad to the point of 1 rating & i'll suggest people to ignore anti like these & just enjoy & discuss the drama.

Don't give importance to the comments. I think people are just speculating. I also didn't heard lusi offered this role though. It's rumors not true. XZ & lusi were really cute on oh my emperor. Given his professionalism he'll work with anyone seriously. Bt i think lusi seems to be getting kind of traffic route & popularity & it's really best for xz & any traffic celebs not to clash in one project. It creates unnecessary fanwars. In XZ's recent projects I don't see him acting with traffic actresses now. He's going to the mainstream serious drama more now.

Watch it, it’s a decent drama. Another recent drama saw fans complaining about cgi bt here cgi is good, acting also good, plot just started so it's not intense stage yet bt future episodes'll be full of angst. There's potential for a great drama. Unlike some bad dramas where fans full of complaints, here comments everyone find it interesting, that should show u that the drama's decent & ratings are given by anti who didn’t even watch the drama so couldn't discuss the negative points with details in comments just gave 1 rating maliciously. Don't be bothered by rating.

No chance of sequel, the story is complete. U know that now a forced new story'll be super bad so don't wish it. I saw TU bt i liked most xz's recent drama the youth memories/ where dreams begin. I eagerly waited for that drama episode everyday. I think i like mature, realistic, thought provoking modern dramas more. Just different preferences.

Antis won't balatantly bash ML as he's super famous & have many great works & people'll be able to counter with facts. So to rate drama low, they have to find a somewhat seem logical reason as FL isn't very known now they are targeting her more & drama plot to rate low. Some ML fans who r liking fl's acting even have to defend her now. In the end low rating'll still affect ML. Those people giving drama 1 rating coming for ML not FL.

If u dig into these haters account, u'll see they are other actors fans & think xz is a competition to their fave so downgrading xz. XZ's super popular, it threatens them. I don't really understand these fans if ur fave is good he'll justly overcome xz with work, don't u trust ur fave? Why help him cheat by hurting competitors work. U can see some xz video's he's really gentle & sweet. Despites his good look & acting fans say his personality is the best thing about xz still these antis have no shame to curse him for such an idiotic reason. Some cdrama fans are weird.

He is better than OOL in TLP & more perfect in WDB. WDB was shot 1 year after TLP. It just shows every year his acting is getting more perfect.

Ohh! U r not a xz fan so u don't know this xz has really persistent haters. In twitter u'll see many anti accounts that everyday just curse xz. Recently his TYM/WDB tv drama was explosive in china getting average cvb 1.5 tv rating which basically made them mad & the cursing increased including few days ago in twitter someone cursed him to die. This drama really got praise from first day & even coming to netflix, so u r now seeing more angry anti accounts that never rated any drama suddenly giving it 1 rating in just 5 episode. Don't bother about rating. Just relax & enjoy & discuss the plot. If u ever see any future xz drama, remember this situation'll happen again. XZ fans are now experienced in downvoting from anti.

Bt the novel was really simple though. I didn't find the novel story really fleshed out well & it's was a little bland. Drama seems to follow the novel main points bt made some changes to me it's seems good as i thought previously following the novel story would be too simple & not suitable for drama. Bt everyone's preference is different. BTW ur taste is quite different. As many international audience don't like realistic period dramas like the youth memories/WDB. I also found it very good, mature drama, realistic, good plot & in fact it’s one of my most favourite xz drama. All casts in that drama acted like veteran actors. Bt I am also liking this drama. If story deviate from drama, some novel reader must be a little frustrated bt let's watch & see drama future plot can be up to ur taste.

Lucky, chinese apps are banned in india. They had hard time watching. Now indian fans can watch on Netflix.

I also think her styling could be better. Bt maybe the stylist thinks bangs are more youthful. Let's hope styling get better & plot more intense.

Well, everyone is different bt anyway i saw it & it was ok for her look & acting to me. I have seen some super annoying naive fl in other dramas so her character don't seem much annoying to me, she's quite tame than others. Maybe for people who don't usually watch these kind of drama find the personality annoying. Anyway keep the positivity, ignore the negative ones as everyone's opinion is different & discuss more on the plot.

Yangmi also won golden broom for like 3- 4 years continuously & there was a great acting veteran who was also given it. So nobody really ever cared for this award, the award has no validity. They don't disclose who are the judges or what is the criteria. It's like some individual suddenly open a page & say i'm giving bad actor award like i feel who are bad depending on my preference. The award creators are not famous or respected renowned people, kind of like nobody. I have seen some super bad actors/ actress in every roles they get act bad yet they didn't get the award bt some ok acting celebs got. I haven't seen any official media or audience care much or mention about this award though. There are official awards from govt. like magnolia & some others which is valid & juged with proper steps no scam or without quality can't get these. Bt broom award isn't official, made radom by someone online, don't show the jugding steps or process clearly, or if the judge has any quality to judge other celebs as the one who can judge big celebs acting has to be someone with great quality in acting otherwise how can they judge others properly like u can easily take some mdl users to say who they like or not & without any professionalism they'll award someone bad based on just their preference bt everyone's acting preference is different. Bt this award judges are not heard or seems like the award is given by creators likes or dislikes without any proper judgement. So the award is regarded kind of a joke. BTW u can watch ren min's cry me a river movie which i heard really good acting there. Bt i think since she's not super pretty so some people may not like her in costume drama.

Actually every xianxia drama i saw where fl is slightly naive no matter how great the drama becomes, bashing of fl is inevitable. Before I would be surprised bt after careful observation of many different dramas I found that It may be bcz a lot of xianxia drama has fl with this personality so some viewers have a restrained dislike for this personality as it's used many times before & so every drama they dislike the fl & say actress is not good even if the actress is a known good actress bcz intially they hate the character design so even if fl is acting quite good the viewers restrained hatred for the naive personality'll create harsh judgment. I have seen it in every xianxia of this type despite popularity. Ignore it. As drama progress everyone'll focus more on plot & everyone’s choice is different. Bt i do hope everyone to concentrate & discuss more about the plot. Mdl is most fun in plot discussion.
