The casting is perfect & make up'll be as needed. For character depth to develop & create connection with audience, don't they need more episodes? Like watching only 2-3 episodes how'll one feel emotional connection with characters that they don't even know much about. It's 40 episode drama so first few chapters are actually introduction type, also how can one understand bad plot from only 4 episodes? Xianxia dramas start slow thn slowly climax & the cgi is good, acting is good too. So at least U can watch some more episodes to grasp the real drama plot & it's quality.

Yeah, there is a reason TV airing of a drama is considered prestigious for a actor in china as tv rating is solid proof, no capital money can influence it. It's also weird how people can trust any unreliable apps & online charts, don't they know in weibo u can buy hot seaches so these online charts are also not much reliable even for xz's online drama to grasp real popularity i had to work extra hard& be very selective to get true info. All xz drama always top in online charts bt i don't even count these. I always hope for XZ's drama to air on tv so I can grasp the real popularity of the drama not fans influence, third party influence or personal opinion.

His ace troop was military drama so it had limited interested public still it was top 1 on jiangsu TV & also nominated to feitan award, & OOL as top 3 in hunan TV in 2022, it's not easy to get good TV rating just from fans, I can tell u instances where popular veteran celebs as well as some traffic celebs had low TV rating. His OOL had twice more TV rating than Ace troop as a sweet romance story, it had more reach to public & the each day tv ratings it was increasing, mind u if only fans watching it wouldn’t be increasing everyday as fans would watch from day 1, the increased people were new public interested in the drama also it had decent number of watchers on mdl in 1 year too enough to say it made a splash. Rather than replaced it's more like XZ isn’t interested now also he has to give time to his new movie so not possible to shoot doulou now. Doulou 1 was filmed before xz was famous, it was a low budget drama bt bcz xz suddenly became famous & the cast hardwork, the drama was ok. Still it’s an idol drama. XZ's recent drama choices are mature roles like where dreams begin, sunshine like me. His new movie the condor heroes is a high budget one. He is super busy so also selective of his work. Many fans already understood he won't shoot an idol drama doulou 2. The same is applicable for the small support role of his in joy of life 2. The chances of him doing support role is very low as he has to give his time to projects which is good for his careeer. How come big antis spread the fanfiction was mass reported & AO3 was banned when it was not, also the site had limited number of user accounts bt quickly a large number of anti bullied, the number was more than AO3 user number where did extra anti come from. Basically next few month they tried to create many negative story & hot search for xz, bullied xz brand, parents & solo fans xfx bt didn't bully cp fans much. The reason was simple xz solo fans were too many & were main force for his brand sale & brand awareness so in order to lessen his value solos were attacked specially with name calling so that they leave fandom from pressure bt these fans were too strong didn't leave, cp fans were less in number so ignored by bullies also becuz of these continuous bullying some general public felt sympathy thus xz even gained millions of new fans in 2020. After months of bullying seeing fans aren't leaving, public don't care, govt. didn't ban xz as he even appeared on CCTV during 227 singing song, drama crew recruting xz as he started shooting for ace troop in 2020, there's huge cost buying water army to slander so finally anti stoped it. Think about it, if xz was really bulied by millions of general public, then he wouldn't be able to have successful drama like oath of love had good tv rating & 4 billion view online in 37 days, now having been no 1 among celebs in number of brand spokeperson 35 brand including luxury brand gucci, tods, zenith etc, constantly shooting new drama, have new fans more than 30 million on weibo, his millan fashion week topic has billion views the so many antis that attacked him for 1 year would still attack him many times not vanish suddenly like don't exist at all, u'll see celebs with real scandals where general public hate, have hard time to rise always criticized bt it didn't happen to xz as he is becoming even more popular becuz the anti in 227 were bought not general public. Which is unethical to ship real people. Imagine someone shipping you with classmates for their desire to see a same sex couple & creating rumor with lies so strong that others are believing & telling it to your parents & even relatives. That would be awkward. A guy created a rumour that he is dating a girl who is my friend after knowing it she was so angry that complained to me for hours. Normal people don't like this shiping but do we ever respect or think of actors as human being? They are always a plaything to us so what we won't do to real people we do to actors. The reason for them not interacting in public is bcz of these excessive shipping, they feel awkward & don't want to fuel the shipping more which will obviously cause problem when they get married like i have seen some same sex couple shipping fandoms who attacked the wife when one of them married. U will always see all popular BL themed drama actors distance themselves & mostly never interact bt unpopular BL drama actors don't do it bcz they don't have excessive shipping problem. When one has to mind & bother about shipping then never interact with public, do u think the friendship can last long with this kind of awkwardness. Wish people would leave actors private life alone then the friendship would at least last. These two didn't even interact for more than 3-4 years when even in the same stage & there's even doubt starting if the friendship already ruined.

I understand you & no i wasn't referring to him losing fans as xz has many older fans as i myself an older fan, so i know he won't lose fans bcz of dating & xz isn't even going to the traffic routes if u see his drama choices lately, he obviously chosing the actor life not traffic so there won't be any problem dating. Bt i just thought this from my perspective as xz sometime even shoot till mid night & obviously very busy so i thought now starting family he won't be able to give much time & also need to shoot many drama & ads as his career is on peek now & need to transition as an actor. 2-3 years later gaining more reputation, can decrease workload a little then start dating & give family more time. Anyway it all depend on xz, even if he date now there is no problem bt balancing carrer & family will be a little hard maybe. About getting more projects by dating, i don't think it's like that many actors take more project a year to earn more without sometime getting time preparing for the role as they shoot one drama after another continuously bt xz don't take more than 2 drama a year bcz he takes time to understand & prepare for his role, he obviously get many offer but don't take & shoot all dramas blindly, also he is doing theater too so I think it's his choice to shoot less drama a year. BTW xz really have such mesmerizing voice, i hope he could be promoted more as a singer, with that voice i believe he would make it big as a singer.

Even though i want xz to date & have a nice family with kids bt i think it would be better to date 2 -3 years later & focus more on his rising career now, it' hard to maintain career & family equally & xz need to give top priority to career now.
