𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞From the beginning, I thought the story was going to be something completely different, so I was actually surprised. One of the first things that caught my attention was the fact that the movie takes place in Somalia. I’m not used to seeing Korean films set in an African country, so seeing people from different ethnicities, languages, and cultures all mixed together really grabbed my interest. At the same time, I’m always a bit cautious about how Korean productions portray other cultures, but I feel like they did a good job here.
The movie is heavy and even pretty sad at several moments. It’s painful and nerve-wracking to watch so much war, so many bodies, and so many situations where it feels like no matter what the characters do, danger is always there. The movie keeps you tense the whole time, especially knowing that all of this really happened.
One thing I feel like I have to mention is that, since this is a South Korean movie, they do end up making the South Korean characters look a little too “good.” Everything is framed in a way that makes them seem like the moral ones, and I really doubt things played out exactly like that in real life. This becomes even more noticeable when the North Korean characters show up. Even with the historical rivalry between the two Koreas, the movie still puts the South Koreans in a more favorable light, while the North Koreans come off tougher or more aggressive. But at the same time, it’s interesting to see how both sides end up helping each other out of pure survival, and that creates some really good and tense moments.
Still, the acting is really strong. The actors pull you right into the chaos and confusion, and you end up feeling the desperation with them. It’s the kind of movie that keeps you hooked because of this mix of tension, harsh reality, and a little bit of hope in the middle of all the destruction.

Desde o começo eu achava que seria um tipo de história totalmente diferente, fui surpreendido. Uma das primeiras coisas que me chamou atenção foi o fato de a história se passar na Somália. Eu não estou acostumado a ver filmes coreanos em um cenário africano, então ver pessoas de várias etnias, diferentes línguas e culturas misturadas me deixou bem interessado. Ao mesmo tempo, eu sempre fico com um pé atrás com representações coreanas de outras culturas, mas achei que a representação foi boa.
O filme é pesado e até triste em vários momentos. É triste e angustiante ver tanta guerra, tantos corpos, tantas situações em que parece que não importa o que os personagens façam, o perigo sempre está ali. O filme te deixa tenso o tempo todo ainda mais por saber que isso realmente aconteceu.
Uma coisa que eu acho importante comentar é que, como é um filme sul-coreano, eles acabam puxando um pouco o saco dos personagens da Coreia do Sul. Tudo fica parecendo que eles são sempre os bonzinhos da situação, e duvido bastante que tenha sido assim na vida real. Isso fica ainda mais evidente quando os personagens da Coreia do Norte entram na história. Mesmo com toda a rivalidade histórica entre as duas Coreias, o filme tenta colocar os sul-coreanos num patamar um pouco mais favorecido, enquanto os norte-coreanos aparecem de um jeito mais duro ou agressivo. Mas, ao mesmo tempo, é interessante ver como os dois lados acabam se ajudando por questão de sobrevivência, e isso gera alguns momentos bem legais e tensos ao mesmo tempo.
Apesar disso tudo, a atuação é muito boa. Os atores realmente te puxam para dentro do caos e da confusão, e você acaba sentindo o desespero junto com eles. É um filme que te prende justamente por essa mistura de tensão, realidade dura e um pouco de esperança no meio de tanta destruição.

𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠First of all, I have to say that I don’t really understand much about legal matters, and I don’t know South Korea’s laws either, so I’m probably not the main target audience for this type of show.
Even so, some episodes really entertained me. There were cases I found super interesting, but there were also several that didn’t hold my attention. One thing I really liked is how charismatic the characters are — the acting is genuinely good, and that makes the series easy to enjoy.
As for the romance, I actually liked it a lot. The protagonist is very straightforward about what she feels, and that’s a big plus for me because I don’t like when a show drags things out for no reason. Even though it's a secondary storyline, it had a good amount of screen time and developed at a nice pace.
Another thing I found really interesting was seeing the point of view of an autistic person in this environment. The drama shows, in a sensitive way, some real difficulties she faces like prejudice, and even internal struggles related to her autism, such as having trouble knowing when someone is lying or telling the truth. That added an emotional layer I wasn’t expecting.

Primeiramente, preciso dizer que eu não entendo muito de questões jurídicas e também não conheço as leis da Coreia do Sul, então, sinceramente, acho que não sou exatamente o público-alvo desse tipo de história.
Mesmo assim, alguns episódios realmente me prenderam. Teve caso que achei super interessante, mas também teve outros que simplesmente não conseguiram manter meu interesse. O que mais se destaca, pra mim, são os personagens: todos muito carismáticos, com atuações ótimas, o que deixa a série bem gostosa de acompanhar.
Sobre o romance, eu gostei bastante. A protagonista é direta sobre o que sente, e isso pra mim é um ponto muito positivo, porque eu não curto quando ficam enrolando demais. Mesmo sendo uma trama secundária, teve um desenvolvimento legal e no tempo certo.
Outra coisa que achei bem interessante foi ver o ponto de vista de uma pessoa autista nesse ambiente. A série mostra de forma sensível algumas dificuldades reais que ela enfrenta, como preconceito e até desafios internos relacionados ao próprio autismo como a dificuldade de identificar quando alguém está mentindo ou falando a verdade. Isso acrescentou uma camada emocional que eu não esperava.

𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥I started My Demon just to kill some time, without expecting anything. A lot of people had spoken badly about it, so I went in prepared to drop it halfway… but I ended up getting a lot more into it than I imagined.
The drama isn’t just romance; there are many storylines that start being explored after the death of the female protagonist’s parents. The series has suspense, tragedy, mystery, revenge, investigation, and even action scenes. And the supernatural part involving the demon protagonist was something I really liked.
One thing that surprised me were the reflections about life and humanity. The drama talks about free will, destiny, human selfishness, and even actions considered inhumane, showing moments where humans can be worse than the devil himself.
The humor also really got me. There are several characters who are pure comic relief, and they genuinely made me enjoy watching it, not letting the story be only about tension.

Comecei My Demon só pra matar o tempo, sem esperar nada. Muita gente tinha falado mal, então fui preparado pra abandonar no meio… mas acabei me envolvendo bem mais do que imaginei.
O dorama não é só romance, há muitas tramas na história que começam a ser exploradas apartir da morte dos pais da protagonista. A série entrega suspense, tragédia, mistério, vingança, investigação, e até cenas de ação. Além da paete sobrenatural envolvendo o protagonista demônio, que foi algo que me encantou.
Uma coisa que me surpreendeu foram as reflexões sobre vida e humanidade. O dorama fala de livre arbítrio, destino, o egoísmo humano e até ações consideradas desumanas onde o ser humano pode ser pior que o próprio diabo.
A questão do humor me pegou muito. Tem vários personagens que são puro alívio cômico e realmente me fez me divertir assistindo, não contendo apenas tensão em seu enredo.

𝐅𝐮𝐧If you think “My Girlfriend Is a Real Man” is some kind of BL, I’m already warning you that you’re going to be disappointed.
Even so, the experience was really fun. The cinematography has a cozy atmosphere, and the overall production gives a light, easy-to-follow feeling. The characters are extremely charismatic—even the ones who were made for us to dislike end up having something that stops you from completely hating them.
The drama balances humor and emotional moments really well, and you can genuinely feel what the characters are going through in the more serious scenes. There are several romantic misunderstandings, and pretty much everyone, at some point, seems to develop some kind of connection, which makes all those little messes even more entertaining to watch.
My score is only not a 10 because of a secondary couple that didn’t catch my attention as much as the rest.

Se você acha que "My Girlfriend Is a Real Man", é algum tipo de BL, já aviso que vai se decepcionar.
Mesmo assim, a experiência foi muito divertida. A fotografia tem um clima aconchegante e a produção passa uma sensação leve de acompanhar. Os personagens são extremamente carismáticos, até mesmo aqueles que foram feitos pra gente não gostar tanto acabam tendo algo que impede de odiar completamente.
O drama equilibra bem o humor com momentos mais emocionais, e dá pra sentir de verdade o que os personagens estão passando nas cenas mais sérias. Há várias confusões amorosas, e praticamente todo mundo, em algum momento, parece acabar criando algum tipo de vínculo, o que torna essas trapalhadas, algo ainda mais engraçado de acompanhar.
Minha nota só não é 10 por conta de um casal secundário que não me prendeu tanto quanto o resto.

𝐓𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞"Night Has Come" starts with a very promising concept: students trapped during a school retreat have to face a mysterious and deadly game that mixes psychological suspense with supernatural elements. Right from the beginning, the series grabs your attention with several questions: what's happening? Who's behind it? Is there any way out?
The drama does a great job of creating a tense atmosphere, with dark cinematography and a mood that makes you constantly suspicious of every character. It also brings up questions about trust, friendship, and how far someone can go to survive.
On the other hand, as the story moves forward, the series loses a bit of the initial impact. Characters who make the story interesting end up meeting sad fates, and that makes the plot feel less engaging than it seemed at the beginning. The ending also wasn’t the best for me — it felt like there were so many interesting directions it could’ve taken, but it ended up going for something way too predictable.
Overall, "Night Has Come" is a drama that grabs you a lot in the beginning and delivers good amounts of mystery and suspense, but maybe doesn’t fulfill all the potential it promised. Still, it’s a good option for anyone who enjoys stories full of psychological tension and survival games.

"Night Has Come" começa com um conceito muito promissor: estudantes presos em um retiro escolar precisam enfrentar um jogo misterioso e mortal, que mistura suspense psicológico e elementos sobrenaturais. Logo de início, a série prende a atenção com várias perguntas: o que está acontecendo? Quem está por trás disso? Existe uma saída?
O dorama acerta em criar uma atmosfera de tensão, com fotografia sombria e um clima que deixa o espectador sempre desconfiado de cada personagem. Além disso, levanta questões sobre confiança, amizade e até onde alguém pode ir para sobreviver.
Por outro lado, conforme a história avança, a série vai perdendo um pouco do impacto inicial. Personagens que fazem a história ficar interessante acabam tendo destinos tristes, e isso deixa a trama menos envolvente do que parecia no começo. O final também não foi dos melhores pra mim, parecia que tinha tantos caminhos interessantes a seguir, mas acabou caindo em algo previsível demais.
No geral, "Night Has Come" é um dorama que prende bastante no início e garante boas doses de mistério e suspense, mas talvez não entregue todo o potencial que prometia. Ainda assim, é uma boa opção para quem gosta de histórias cheias de tensão psicológica e jogos de sobrevivência.

𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐟𝐮𝐥"Love Untangled" is a light and charming movie, great to watch. The characters are charismatic, especially the protagonist, who easily captures the audience’s attention.
The story follows the young girl as she deals with her feelings for a boy who appears very little on screen, until a new character enters her life after she saves him from drowning. From that moment on, a friendship begins to grow naturally and becomes central to the narrative.
One of the strongest points of the film is the way it portrays the protagonist’s insecurities about her curly hair. The pressure to change her appearance in an attempt to feel accepted and loved is shown in a sensitive way. As the story unfolds, she discovers that she didn’t need to change anything about herself — that her beauty was already there, and there were people who valued her exactly as she is.
What I felt was missing was a deeper exploration of the perspective of the first boy she liked. At times it seemed like he also had feelings for her, even with her curls, which could have taken the story in a different direction. Still, the relationship she builds with her friend is more solid, based on presence, support, and safety, which makes her final choice understandable and, in a way, the most ideal one.

"Love Untangled" é um filme leve e encantador, ótimo para se assistir. Os personagens são carismáticos, em especial a protagonista, que conquista facilmente a atenção do público.
A trama acompanha a jovem enquanto lida com seus sentimentos por um garoto que aparece pouco em cena, até que um novo personagem surge em sua vida após ela salvá-lo de um afogamento. A partir daí, nasce uma amizade que cresce com naturalidade e vai se tornando central na narrativa.
Um dos pontos mais fortes do filme é a forma como ele aborda a insegurança da protagonista com seu cabelo cacheado. A pressão para mudar sua aparência, na tentativa de se sentir aceita e amada, é retratada de forma sensível. Com o desenrolar da história, ela descobre que não precisava alterar nada em si mesma, que sua beleza já estava ali, e que havia quem a valorizasse exatamente como ela é.
O que senti falta foi de uma maior exploração da perspectiva do primeiro garoto de quem ela gostava. Em alguns momentos parecia que ele também nutria sentimentos por ela, mesmo com seus cachos, o que poderia ter dado outro rumo à trama. Ainda assim, a relação construída com seu amigo é mais sólida, baseada em presença, apoio e segurança, o que torna sua escolha final compreensível e, de certa forma, a mais ideal.

The performances are very good and convey the emotion the story asks for in a sincere way. Despite the delicate theme, the film isn’t heavy; on the contrary, it has a calm and engaging pace, slowly revealing the connection between the characters.
Another interesting point is that, for those studying Japanese, this film can be a great opportunity for practice, since the dialogues are simple and accessible.

O único ponto negativo é a dificuldade de encontrá-lo, já que só consegui assistir pelo YouTube.
Como o título sugere, "Não me esqueça" acompanha a vida de uma jovem que, por razões nunca explicadas, acaba sendo esquecida por todos ao seu redor. O enredo gira em torno da relação entre ela e o protagonista, que passa a se aproximar dela e desenvolver um laço especial.
As atuações são muito boas e transmitem de forma sincera a emoção que a história pede. Apesar do tema delicado, o filme não é pesado, pelo contrário, tem um ritmo calmo e envolvente, mostrando pouco a pouco a conexão entre os personagens.
Outro ponto interessante é que, para quem estuda japonês, a obra pode ser uma ótima oportunidade de prática, já que os diálogos são simples e acessíveis.
