The short film feels so raw and sincere that, at several moments, it seemed more like a personal outburst from Gu Gyo Hwan himself than just acting.

It’s really a mix of emotions. There are moments when you feel his tension, others where things get lighter and even a bit funny. And the way he tries to go through his day normally, even though he’s clearly affected, kept me completely invested. It feels very human, very real, like something that could happen to me or anyone else.

Another thing that stood out to me was the atmosphere in his home, that sense of loneliness. He smokes a lot, almost like he’s trying to cope with what he’s feeling after being left out by his friends. The scenes switch between small outbursts, irritation, quiet moments… little details that make everything feel incredibly intimate, as if we were watching a very personal moment in his life.

E o jeito como ele tenta seguir o dia normalmente, mesmo visivelmente afetado, me prendeu muito. Parece algo muito humano, muito real, como algo que poderia acontecer comigo ou com qualquer pessoa.

Outra coisa que me chamou atenção foi o clima da casa, a solidão. Ele fuma muito, como se estivesse tentando controlar o que está sentindo depois de ter sido deixado de lado pelos amigos. As cenas vão misturando surtos pequenos, irritações, momentos quietos… detalhes que deixam tudo extremamente íntimo, como se a gente estivesse espiando um momento muito pessoal da vida dele.

The story of 10Dance is basically about two dancers who want to step out of their comfort zones and learn styles different from the ones they already master in order to compete in 10Dance. Throughout this process of exchanging techniques, training together, and competing, the two end up forming a connection that keeps growing and goes beyond dance itself.

The film focuses much more on the dances, rehearsals, and competitions than on the emotional development of the romance. The intimacy between the protagonists grows a lot through dance, training, and physical closeness, and their chemistry is very strong. Still, the relationship ends up moving forward in a somewhat rushed way, without them really talking about what they feel. One moment they are just training partners and friends, and suddenly they are intensely kissing, which left me a bit confused due to the lack of that emotional transition.

On the other hand, the dance scenes are incredible. It truly feels like you are watching professional dancers, everything is very well executed. The acting is also great and helps keep you engaged. The soundtrack, for me, was one of the strongest points of the film. There were several moments when I was literally dancing along in my bed while watching.

Another thing I really liked and that stood out to me was the presence of multiple languages in the original audio, such as English and Spanish, in addition to Japanese. The Latin representation was something I genuinely enjoyed, speaking as a Latino myself.

As for the ending, I can’t say I loved it, but it leaves things very open, clearly hinting at a continuation. It gives the feeling that, in a possible second film, they might deepen the protagonists’ feelings and relationship, which is something I felt was missing here.

A história de 10Dance é basicamente sobre dois dançarinos que querem sair da zona de conforto e aprender estilos diferentes dos que já dominam para competir no 10Dance. No meio desse processo de troca, treinos e competições, os dois acabam criando uma conexão cada vez mais próxima, que vai além da dança.

O filme foca muito mais nas danças, nos ensaios e nas competições do que no desenvolvimento emocional do romance. A intimidade entre os protagonistas cresce bastante através da dança, dos treinos e da proximidade física, e a química entre eles é muito forte. Ainda assim, o relacionamento acaba avançando de forma meio apressada, sem que eles realmente falem sobre o que sentem. Em um momento são parceiros de treino e amigos, e de repente já estão se beijando de forma intensa, o que me deixou um pouco confuso pela falta dessa transição emocional.

Por outro lado, as cenas de dança são incríveis. Dá realmente a sensação de que são dançarinos profissionais ali, tudo muito bem executado. A atuação também é ótima e ajuda bastante a manter o interesse. A trilha sonora, pra mim, foi um dos pontos mais fortes do filme. Teve vários momentos em que eu estava literalmente dançando junto na cama enquanto assistia.

Uma coisa que eu gostei bastante e que me chamou atenção foi a presença de vários idiomas no áudio original, como inglês e espanhol, além do japonês. A representatividade latina foi algo que eu curti muito, falando aqui como latino mesmo.

Sobre o final, não posso dizer que amei, mas ele deixa tudo bem aberto, claramente com cara de continuação. Então fica a sensação de que, em um possível segundo filme, eles possam aprofundar melhor os sentimentos e o relacionamento dos protagonistas, coisa que senti falta aqui.

𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞
From the beginning, I thought the story was going to be something completely different, so I was actually surprised. One of the first things that caught my attention was the fact that the movie takes place in Somalia. I’m not used to seeing Korean films set in an African country, so seeing people from different ethnicities, languages, and cultures all mixed together really grabbed my interest. At the same time, I’m always a bit cautious about how Korean productions portray other cultures, but I feel like they did a good job here.

The movie is heavy and even pretty sad at several moments. It’s painful and nerve-wracking to watch so much war, so many bodies, and so many situations where it feels like no matter what the characters do, danger is always there. The movie keeps you tense the whole time, especially knowing that all of this really happened.

One thing I feel like I have to mention is that, since this is a South Korean movie, they do end up making the South Korean characters look a little too “good.” Everything is framed in a way that makes them seem like the moral ones, and I really doubt things played out exactly like that in real life. This becomes even more noticeable when the North Korean characters show up. Even with the historical rivalry between the two Koreas, the movie still puts the South Koreans in a more favorable light, while the North Koreans come off tougher or more aggressive. But at the same time, it’s interesting to see how both sides end up helping each other out of pure survival, and that creates some really good and tense moments.

Still, the acting is really strong. The actors pull you right into the chaos and confusion, and you end up feeling the desperation with them. It’s the kind of movie that keeps you hooked because of this mix of tension, harsh reality, and a little bit of hope in the middle of all the destruction.

Desde o começo eu achava que seria um tipo de história totalmente diferente, fui surpreendido. Uma das primeiras coisas que me chamou atenção foi o fato de a história se passar na Somália. Eu não estou acostumado a ver filmes coreanos em um cenário africano, então ver pessoas de várias etnias, diferentes línguas e culturas misturadas me deixou bem interessado. Ao mesmo tempo, eu sempre fico com um pé atrás com representações coreanas de outras culturas, mas achei que a representação foi boa.

O filme é pesado e até triste em vários momentos. É triste e angustiante ver tanta guerra, tantos corpos, tantas situações em que parece que não importa o que os personagens façam, o perigo sempre está ali. O filme te deixa tenso o tempo todo ainda mais por saber que isso realmente aconteceu.

Uma coisa que eu acho importante comentar é que, como é um filme sul-coreano, eles acabam puxando um pouco o saco dos personagens da Coreia do Sul. Tudo fica parecendo que eles são sempre os bonzinhos da situação, e duvido bastante que tenha sido assim na vida real. Isso fica ainda mais evidente quando os personagens da Coreia do Norte entram na história. Mesmo com toda a rivalidade histórica entre as duas Coreias, o filme tenta colocar os sul-coreanos num patamar um pouco mais favorecido, enquanto os norte-coreanos aparecem de um jeito mais duro ou agressivo. Mas, ao mesmo tempo, é interessante ver como os dois lados acabam se ajudando por questão de sobrevivência, e isso gera alguns momentos bem legais e tensos ao mesmo tempo.

Apesar disso tudo, a atuação é muito boa. Os atores realmente te puxam para dentro do caos e da confusão, e você acaba sentindo o desespero junto com eles. É um filme que te prende justamente por essa mistura de tensão, realidade dura e um pouco de esperança no meio de tanta destruição.

𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠
First of all, I have to say that I don’t really understand much about legal matters, and I don’t know South Korea’s laws either, so I’m probably not the main target audience for this type of show.

Even so, some episodes really entertained me. There were cases I found super interesting, but there were also several that didn’t hold my attention. One thing I really liked is how charismatic the characters are — the acting is genuinely good, and that makes the series easy to enjoy.

As for the romance, I actually liked it a lot. The protagonist is very straightforward about what she feels, and that’s a big plus for me because I don’t like when a show drags things out for no reason. Even though it's a secondary storyline, it had a good amount of screen time and developed at a nice pace.

Another thing I found really interesting was seeing the point of view of an autistic person in this environment. The drama shows, in a sensitive way, some real difficulties she faces like prejudice, and even internal struggles related to her autism, such as having trouble knowing when someone is lying or telling the truth. That added an emotional layer I wasn’t expecting.

Primeiramente, preciso dizer que eu não entendo muito de questões jurídicas e também não conheço as leis da Coreia do Sul, então, sinceramente, acho que não sou exatamente o público-alvo desse tipo de história.

Mesmo assim, alguns episódios realmente me prenderam. Teve caso que achei super interessante, mas também teve outros que simplesmente não conseguiram manter meu interesse. O que mais se destaca, pra mim, são os personagens: todos muito carismáticos, com atuações ótimas, o que deixa a série bem gostosa de acompanhar.

Sobre o romance, eu gostei bastante. A protagonista é direta sobre o que sente, e isso pra mim é um ponto muito positivo, porque eu não curto quando ficam enrolando demais. Mesmo sendo uma trama secundária, teve um desenvolvimento legal e no tempo certo.

Outra coisa que achei bem interessante foi ver o ponto de vista de uma pessoa autista nesse ambiente. A série mostra de forma sensível algumas dificuldades reais que ela enfrenta, como preconceito e até desafios internos relacionados ao próprio autismo como a dificuldade de identificar quando alguém está mentindo ou falando a verdade. "Jane" is one of those films that already warn you from the start that it won't be a light experience. It deals with topics like depression, suicide, emotional dependency, and even kleptomania.

The relationship between Jane and the protagonist could have been explored much better. All we really know is that they share a past marked by the same man who disappeared from both of their lives, but the film never bothers to show his side of the story.

The protagonist, for me, was hard to follow. Her life is filled with constant pain, almost apathetic, and since she probably deals with depression and strong emotional dependency, she spends most of the time silent, lost in her own thoughts. This makes the film tiring at times.

The characters barely talk to each other, which makes it difficult to understand the depth of their relationships. The dialogues are short, vague, and it feels like the film wants you to feel things rather than actually understand them. The only thing that really comes through is that Jane, even with her problems and crises, was an important source of support for the protagonist. She was someone who, in some way, made her feel less alone.

One thing that bothered me a lot was the timeline. It's very easy to get lost because the film doesn’t really explain what is happening first, later, or at the same time.

Overall, it's a film that has value, emotion, and intention, but it requires patience. It's the kind of story you can only appreciate if you're prepared for something introspective, sad, and that doesn’t give you all the answers.

A protagonista, pra mim, foi difícil de acompanhar. Sua vida é marcada por uma dor constante, quase apática, e como provavelmente lida com depressão e uma forte dependência emocional, ela passa grande parte do tempo calada, perdida em seus próprios pensamentos. Isso deixa o filme cansativo às vezes.

Os personagens quase não conversam entre si, o que faz com que seja difícil entender a profundidade dos vínculos entre eles. Os diálogos são curtos, vagos, e parece que o filme quer que você "sinta" mais do que entenda. A única coisa que fica realmente clara é que Jane, mesmo cheia de problemas e crises, era um ponto de apoio importante pra protagonista. In the beginning, I found the protagonist’s story very interesting and full of potential. However, once the female character entered his life, everything started to fall apart. She began to use him, even going as far as stealing his phone and ruining his job and his life for no reason at all.

While watching, the dominant feeling I had was frustration. Instead of progressing, the events only brought more tragedies and misfortunes, almost always caused by this character. This ended up making the experience exhausting, to the point where I felt unmotivated to continue the series.

Forgotten starts off really strong, with lots of suspense and a strange atmosphere that pulls you in right away. From the beginning, you’re curious to understand what’s going on, and the movie does a great job of keeping you tense the whole time. As the story goes on, you start feeling just as paranoid as the protagonist, constantly trying to figure out what’s real and what isn’t. The film conveys that sense of confusion and fear really well.

The protagonist’s performance plays a big part in this. You can genuinely feel his desperation, and you end up falling into the paranoia along with him. The movie messes with your head on purpose and makes you uncomfortable, and honestly, that’s the best part of the experience.

The plot twist is good and surprising, but the final part bothered me a bit. The movie chooses to explain everything very directly, and because of that, the mystery and tension start to fade. For me, the psychological horror that was carrying the film becomes weaker there, making it feel a bit slower.

Even so, it doesn’t ruin the experience. Forgotten is still a movie that’s very much worth watching, especially if you enjoy thrillers that play with your mind and stay with you even after they’re over.

Desde o início você fica curioso pra entender o que tá acontecendo, e o filme faz um ótimo trabalho em te deixar tenso o tempo todo. Conforme a história avança, você começa a ficar tão paranoico quanto o protagonista, tentando descobrir o que é real e o que não é. O filme consegue passar muito bem essa sensação de confusão e medo.

A atuação do protagonista ajuda muito nisso. Dá pra sentir o desespero dele de um jeito bem real, e você acaba entrando na paranoia junto com ele. O filme brinca com a sua cabeça, te deixa desconfortável de propósito, e essa é a melhor parte da experiência.

O plot twist é bom e surpreende, mas a parte final me incomodou um pouco. O filme resolve explicar tudo de forma bem direta, e aí aquele clima de mistério e tensão vai se perdendo. Pra mim, o terror psicológico que segurava o filme acaba ficando mais fraco nessa parte, deixando tudo um pouco mais arrastado.

We follow the protagonist deliberately getting himself arrested to get close to a certain character, and that relationship starts to go beyond just work. He forms a real bond there, and that begins to completely mess with his choices.

The timeline can be a little confusing, so it’s worth paying attention so you don’t miss important details. But once things start connecting, the impact hits much harder. The plot twists are great and genuinely surprising, constantly making you change how you see the characters. You can really feel the protagonist’s inner conflict, and it’s impossible not to empathize with him.

The atmosphere is heavy and tense from start to finish. The ending makes sense within the film’s proposal and does what it needs to do, but the way it wraps up left me feeling like it could have been better. It doesn’t ruin the experience, but that feeling is still there.

O filme demora um pouco para engrenar. Os planos levam tempo para acontecer e, em alguns momentos, dá a sensação de que a história está andando mais devagar do que deveria. Acompanhamos o protagonista sendo preso de propósito pra se aproximar de um certo personagem, e essa relação começa a ir além do trabalho. Ele cria um vínculo real ali, e isso começa a bagunçar completamente as escolhas dele.

A linha do tempo é um pouco confusa, então é bom prestar atenção pra não perder detalhes importantes. Mas quando as coisas começam a se conectar, o impacto é bem maior. Os plot twists são ótimos e realmente pegam de surpresa, fazendo você mudar de opinião sobre os personagens o tempo todo. Dá pra sentir o conflito interno do protagonista, e é impossível não criar empatia por ele.

O clima do filme é pesado e tenso do começo ao fim. O final faz sentido dentro da proposta e entrega o que precisava entregar, mas a forma como termina acabou me deixando com um gostinho de que poderia ter sido melhor. Não chega a estragar, mas deixa essa sensação.

I started the second season feeling a bit hesitant, mainly because the first season didn’t win me over at all. Still, I decided to give it a chance, and honestly, I’m really glad I did. This season is much better and made me want to keep watching.

The story takes place right after the events of the first season. The protagonist ends up being bullied because of the boy she was previously involved with, and in an attempt to escape that situation, she decides to fake-date her childhood best friend. What starts as something purely convenient ends up drawing everyone’s attention, and this unexpected couple quickly becomes popular.

What I liked the most about this season is how much more developed the story feels. Unlike the first one, it doesn’t come across as just a series of random short videos. The episodes are longer, and there’s clearly more care put into exploring the protagonists’ relationship and their emotions. The couple’s acting is very good, and you can really feel what each character is going through, whether it’s confusion, jealousy, or affection.

Some situations do get resolved a bit too quickly, but nothing that really hurts the overall experience. On the contrary, the season also brings several actions and twists that genuinely surprised me and made everything more engaging.

In the end, their relationship was really cute to watch. The chemistry works, their moments together feel natural, and yes, the kissing scenes were definitely a highlight for me.

Eu comecei a segunda temporada um pouco receoso, principalmente porque a primeira temporada não tinha me conquistado quase nada. Mesmo assim, resolvi dar uma chance e, sinceramente, ainda bem que dei. Essa temporada é realmente muito melhor e me deixou com vontade de continuar assistindo.

A história acontece logo após os eventos da primeira temporada. A protagonista acaba sofrendo bullying por causa do garoto com quem se envolveu antes e, para tentar escapar disso, ela decide fingir um namoro com seu melhor amigo de infância. O que começa como algo só por conveniência acaba chamando a atenção de todo mundo, e esse casal inesperado passa a fazer bastante sucesso.

O que mais me agradou nessa temporada foi o fato de a história ser mais bem desenvolvida. Diferente da primeira, aqui não parece só uma sequência de vídeos curtos jogados aleatoriamente. Os episódios são mais longos e existe um cuidado maior em aprofundar o relacionamento dos protagonistas e os sentimentos deles. A atuação do casal é muito boa, dá pra sentir o que cada personagem está passando, seja confusão, ciúmes ou carinho.

Algumas situações até se resolvem rápido demais, mas nada que chegue a atrapalhar a experiência. Pelo contrário, a temporada também traz várias atitudes e reviravoltas que eu realmente não esperava, o que deixou tudo mais interessante.

No fim das contas, a relação dos dois foi muito fofa de assistir. A química funciona, os momentos juntos são bem naturais e, sim, as cenas de beijo foram um ponto alto pra mim.

At first glance, Maggie is a strange film, but it’s the kind of strange that works. It presents situations you don’t see everywhere, and its narrative clearly breaks away from the standard. The story isn’t linear and is built through several parallel storylines, all connected by a single theme: trust.

For me, this is the core of the film. We’re placed in situations where it’s hard to know what to believe or how to react, reflecting how difficult it has become nowadays to truly trust someone.

The protagonist goes through an experience that completely shakes the way she relates to the people around her. After that, trusting no longer feels simple. This internal change starts to affect her relationship with her boyfriend. Even though he hasn’t done anything directly wrong, the trust is no longer the same, and small situations begin to create insecurity and paranoia, slowly wearing the relationship down.

Despite this more reflective atmosphere, the film also has a very playful sense of humor, which appears in unexpected moments and helps soften the weight of the story, even with its calm pacing. The performances are very strong and feel natural, and it’s also fun to recognize several familiar actors throughout the film.

Another aspect I found really interesting is the use of metaphors throughout the narrative and how they connect to the characters’ stories. I also can’t leave out the soundtrack, which makes great musical choices and fits the mood of the film perfectly.

Overall, Maggie is a different kind of film that might not appeal to everyone right away, but it definitely encourages reflection. It talks about trust, insecurity, and how even a small lie can completely change the way we see the people around us.

Maggie à primeira vista é um filme estranho, mas é aquele tipo de estranho que funciona. Ele traz situações que você não vê em qualquer lugar, e a narrativa foge do padrão. A história não é linear e vai se construindo a partir de várias histórias paralelas, todas conectadas por um mesmo tema: a confiança.

Pra mim, esse é o ponto central do filme. Nos é apresentado situações onde você não sabe em que acreditar ou reagir, que hoje em dia é difícil confiar verdadeiramente em alguém.

A protagonista passa por uma experiência que abala completamente a forma como ela se relaciona com as pessoas ao seu redor. Depois disso, confiar deixa de ser algo simples. Essa mudança interna começa a refletir no relacionamento dela com o namorado. Mesmo sem ele ter feito algo diretamente errado, a confiança já não é mais a mesma, e pequenas situações começam a gerar insegurança e paranoia, até a relação se desgastar.

Apesar desse clima mais reflexivo, o filme também tem um humor bem divertido, que aparece em momentos inesperados e ajuda a quebrar o peso da história, mesmo com um ritmo mais calmo. As atuações são muito boas e deixam tudo mais natural, além de ser legal reconhecer vários atores ao longo do filme.

Outro ponto que eu achei muito interessante é o uso de metáforas ao longo da narrativa e como elas vão se ligando à história dos personagens. Também não posso deixar de mencionar a trilha sonora, que acerta bastante nas escolhas musicais e combina muito bem com o clima do filme.

No geral, Maggie é um filme diferente, que talvez não agrade todo mundo logo de cara, mas que provoca bastante reflexão. Ele fala sobre confiança, insegurança e sobre como uma mentira, mesmo que pequena, pode mudar completamente a forma como enxergamos as pessoas ao nosso redor.

At first, I thought the film would follow a completely different idea, but I ended up really liking the way the story is told. The plot follows a North Korean soldier who tries to desert the army and cross into South Korea, something that is already extremely risky on its own.

What caught my attention the most was the courage involved in all of this. North Korea is no joke, and the film makes it very clear how any wrong move can come at a high cost. We follow this tense journey, with situations where the protagonist needs to think fast to survive, and he does that very well. He is an intelligent character, and it’s satisfying to watch how he tries to get through the chaos.

The acting is impeccable and really keeps you anxious to know whether he will make it or not. I also found his relationship with officer Ri Hyun Sang very interesting. It’s clear that there is something more going on there. The film confirms that Ri Hyun Sang is homosexual, and there are several tense moments between the two that give the impression that he has feelings for the protagonist. Maybe that’s exactly why he hesitates to kill him when he has the chance.

For me, the film isn’t a 10/10 because in some scenes the protagonist’s plot armor is very noticeable, with things that probably wouldn’t happen that way in real life. Even so, it’s a very gripping film, tense from beginning to end, and definitely worth the experience.

No começo, eu achei que o filme seguiria uma ideia completamente diferente, mas acabei gostando muito da forma como a história é contada. A trama acompanha um soldado da Coreia do Norte que tenta desertar do exército e cruzar para a Coreia do Sul, algo que, por si só, já é extremamente arriscado.

O que mais me chamou atenção foi a coragem envolvida nisso tudo. A Coreia do Norte não é brincadeira, e o filme deixa bem claro o quanto qualquer passo em falso pode custar caro. A gente acompanha essa jornada cheia de tensão, com situações em que o protagonista precisa pensar rápido para sobreviver, e ele faz isso muito bem. Ele é um personagem inteligente, e dá gosto de ver como ele tenta se virar em meio ao caos.

A atuação é impecável e te deixa realmente ansioso para saber se ele vai conseguir ou não. Também achei muito interessante a relação dele com o oficial Ri Hyun Sang. Fica claro que existe algo a mais ali. O filme confirma que Ri Hyun Sang é homossexual, e há vários momentos de tensão entre os dois que passam a sensação de que ele tem sentimentos pelo protagonista. Talvez seja justamente isso que faça com que ele hesite em acabar com ele quando tem a chance.

Pra mim, o filme não é nota 10 porque em algumas cenas fica claro o peso do protagonismo, coisas que talvez não acontecessem assim na vida real. Mesmo assim, é um filme muito envolvente, tenso do começo ao fim, e que vale muito a experiência de assistir.

They promised suspense and delivered exactly that. The beginning is slower, but it never feels dragged out. On the contrary, you can tell that this calmer pace is necessary to build the story and prepare you for the heavier events that come later.

The plot follows a young man who has just been discharged from the military and decides to start over in Seoul. With little money, he ends up living in a cheap place, which puts him in a difficult situation, surrounded by strange and clearly disturbing neighbors.

Besides the bizarre atmosphere of the building and its residents, the protagonist also faces several problems outside of it, whether at work or in his relationship. As the episodes go by, it becomes increasingly clear how this toxic environment starts to affect his mind. And for me, this is the most interesting part of the series. With every argument and every absurd situation, he loses a bit more of his sanity, and you end up feeling just as tense as he does. There comes a point where you almost want to see the protagonist react against those people.

The antagonist is another highlight. He is a serial killer who notices the protagonist’s emotional fragility and sees it as an opportunity. Little by little, he starts influencing him, pushing him closer and closer to the edge, almost as if he were trying to mold him into his own image.

The performances are excellent. Some characters truly make you feel repulsed, exactly as the series intends. You feel the protagonist’s frustration and the constant tension the drama builds. There’s a continuous sense of anxiety, always wondering what might happen next and whether someone could die at any moment. It’s also frustrating to watch how, even with several “pieces of evidence,” the detectives practically ignore the warnings from the policewoman trying to solve the case.

As for the antagonist, I don’t know if it was intentional, but in several moments it feels like he develops some kind of feeling for the protagonist. The compliments, certain looks, and even signs of jealousy give that impression, even though, obviously, the protagonist feels nothing but fear and disgust toward him.

The ending was simply phenomenal. A plot twist that truly surprises and leaves your mind full of questions. It’s intentionally a bit confusing, making you question what was real and what wasn’t, and when you finally understand it, you realize the series completely fooled you.

A trama acompanha um rapaz recém-dispensado do exército que decide recomeçar a vida em Seul. Com pouco dinheiro, ele acaba indo morar em um lugar barato, o que o coloca em uma situação complicada, cercado por vizinhos estranhos e claramente perturbadores.

Além do clima bizarro do prédio e os moradores, o protagonista também enfrenta vários problemas fora dali, seja no trabalho ou no relacionamento. Com o passar dos episódios, fica cada vez mais evidente como essa convivência tóxica começa a afetar sua mente. E essa, pra mim, é a parte mais interessante da série. A cada discussão, a cada situação absurda, ele vai perdendo um pouco mais da sanidade, e você acaba ficando tão nervoso quanto ele. Chega um ponto em que dá até vontade de ver o protagonista reagir contra aquelas pessoas.

O antagonista é outro destaque. Ele é um serial killer que percebe a fragilidade emocional do protagonista e enxerga nisso uma oportunidade. Aos poucos, ele passa a influenciá-lo, empurrando-o cada vez mais para o limite, quase como se estivesse tentando moldá-lo à sua própria imagem.

As atuações são excelentes. Alguns personagens realmente despertam repulsa, exatamente como a série pede. Você sente a frustração do protagonista e a tensão constante que o dorama constrói. A sensação de angústia é contínua, sempre com aquela dúvida do que pode acontecer a seguir e se alguém vai morrer a qualquer momento. Também é frustrante ver como, mesmo com várias “provas”, os detetives praticamente ignoram os alertas da policial que tenta resolver o caso.

Sobre o antagonista, não sei se foi proposital, mas em vários momentos parece que ele desenvolve algum tipo de sentimento pelo protagonista. Os elogios, certos olhares e até demonstrações de ciúmes acabam passando essa impressão, mesmo que, obviamente, o protagonista sinta apenas medo e nojo dele.

O final foi simplesmente sensacional. Um plot twist que realmente surpreende e deixa a cabeça cheia de dúvidas. Ele é um pouco confuso de propósito, te faz questionar o que foi real ou não, e quando você finalmente entende, percebe que a série te enganou completamente.

I started My Demon just to kill some time, without expecting anything. A lot of people had spoken badly about it, so I went in prepared to drop it halfway… but I ended up getting a lot more into it than I imagined.

The drama isn’t just romance; there are many storylines that start being explored after the death of the female protagonist’s parents. The series has suspense, tragedy, mystery, revenge, investigation, and even action scenes. And the supernatural part involving the demon protagonist was something I really liked.
One thing that surprised me were the reflections about life and humanity. The drama talks about free will, destiny, human selfishness, and even actions considered inhumane, showing moments where humans can be worse than the devil himself.
The humor also really got me. There are several characters who are pure comic relief, and they genuinely made me enjoy watching it, not letting the story be only about tension.

O dorama não é só romance, há muitas tramas na história que começam a ser exploradas apartir da morte dos pais da protagonista. A série entrega suspense, tragédia, mistério, vingança, investigação, e até cenas de ação. Além da paete sobrenatural envolvendo o protagonista demônio, que foi algo que me encantou.
Uma coisa que me surpreendeu foram as reflexões sobre vida e humanidade. O dorama fala de livre arbítrio, destino, o egoísmo humano e até ações consideradas desumanas onde o ser humano pode ser pior que o próprio diabo.
A questão do humor me pegou muito. Tem vários personagens que são puro alívio cômico e realmente me fez me divertir assistindo, não contendo apenas tensão em seu enredo.

If you think “My Girlfriend Is a Real Man” is some kind of BL, I’m already warning you that you’re going to be disappointed.

Even so, the experience was really fun. The cinematography has a cozy atmosphere, and the overall production gives a light, easy-to-follow feeling. The characters are extremely charismatic—even the ones who were made for us to dislike end up having something that stops you from completely hating them.

The drama balances humor and emotional moments really well, and you can genuinely feel what the characters are going through in the more serious scenes. There are several romantic misunderstandings, and pretty much everyone, at some point, seems to develop some kind of connection, which makes all those little messes even more entertaining to watch.

My score is only not a 10 because of a secondary couple that didn’t catch my attention as much as the rest.

Os personagens são extremamente carismáticos, até mesmo aqueles que foram feitos pra gente não gostar tanto acabam tendo algo que impede de odiar completamente.

O drama equilibra bem o humor com momentos mais emocionais, e dá pra sentir de verdade o que os personagens estão passando nas cenas mais sérias. Há várias confusões amorosas, e praticamente todo mundo, em algum momento, parece acabar criando algum tipo de vínculo, o que torna essas trapalhadas, algo ainda mais engraçado de acompanhar.

Minha nota só não é 10 por conta de um casal secundário que não me prendeu tanto quanto o resto.

Right from the beginning, the series grabs your attention with several questions: what's happening? Who's behind it? Is there any way out?

The drama does a great job of creating a tense atmosphere, with dark cinematography and a mood that makes you constantly suspicious of every character. It also brings up questions about trust, friendship, and how far someone can go to survive.

On the other hand, as the story moves forward, the series loses a bit of the initial impact. Characters who make the story interesting end up meeting sad fates, and that makes the plot feel less engaging than it seemed at the beginning. The ending also wasn’t the best for me — it felt like there were so many interesting directions it could’ve taken, but it ended up going for something way too predictable.
