Been waiting for season 2 of Detective L for years now after that cliffhanger ending but still no signs of continuation. I'm still hoping for a season 2, it would be nice to have her and Bai Yu back in Detective L 😔

Saw some clips of the upcoming episodes and damn, can Tan Siting be truly happy for once?? The writer really love to make her suffer and torment her so much... She can't catch a break, damn... Thank whatever goodness left that she still have her son and Fengrui 🙃


I'm still bitter about how the writer ruined this drama and wasted the potential of how good this drama could've been but i still like Siting and Lexuan, they're all i care about even though the writer already ruined them (writing wise) by making her avoiding Lexuan and instead of telling Lexuan that she is his mother, Lexuan found out by himself by connecting the dots 😒 The writer better not make anything much more worse 😮‍💨

Just finished watching the latest episode (Ep 22) and damn... Siting and Fengrui should tell Lexuan already, Gao Hui already made her move and telling shit to Lexuan and it's a bit of a mess now 😐

Lexuan takes after Siting so much lol he's a carbon copy of his mother 🥲 I hope Siting pick up the cue and just talk to Lexuan eye to eye alone together. She is too afraid of Lexuan rejecting her as his mother not realizing that she should've told him sooner or any time now. Lexuan will understand. I understand her hesitation but that bitch Gao Hui already made her move and yall better start having a conversation with Lexuan and just be honest and open to him. He'd be more upset if you keep him in the dark and let him find out by his own, for goodness sake, get your act together my dear Siting 😩

The Gao family is a mess. Master of Guilt tripping and manipulation and Fengrui's father is not far better too 🙃 Now Fengrui delaying going to France because of Gao Hui hitting us with early stage of Dementia 😒

Finally... We are so back 😩 We got 10 more episodes and i can't wait to see our little family together again and to see that old hag get what she deserves. I'm tired to see her and her tantrums... Why does she always playing victim 😒

Gao Hui is a denial bitch who enables her brother and pin the blame on others. Grief and denial turns into hatred, and now she's a bitter old woman who not only destroy her own life but the people around her too. As if Siting must be punished over something she didn't do. She literally destroyed someone else's life and still think she's in the right and now that his son know what she did to Siting, she tries to emotionally blackmail him and guilt trip him like she always do when Fengrui don't follow what she wants 😐


Lexuan is such a sweetheart and he's so mature for a kid his age. Gao Hui have the audacity to think he grew up just fine? That kid literally read adults so fast, always be the mediator and always act that he's fine around adults, We only get to hear his thoughts when he's around Siting 🙁 I'm looking foward to see Siting and Lexuan <3

I'm also rooting for Peiyan to find her happiness and find someone who will love her the way she deserves. Wang Zeyuan on the other hand is a complete opposite of Peiyan. both are second leads but Zeyuan is immature and can't take rejection and he's lashing it out to people around him 🙃

Finally, she is now free from Fengrui's family drama. She deserves better and i'm so glad she finally get the courage to end things even though it's heartbreaking for her. Fengrui never loved her and she knew about it yet she cling into her wishful thinking but i'm glad she finally got the courage to put an end to it and put herself first. Peiyan is a mature and such a loving character (':

As for Fengrui, i'm disappointed in how he handle the break up and Peiyan but it is what it is. He's terrible at it and having a control freak & narcissistic mother like Gao Hui? I can definitely see why he turned out that way. At least, now he can finally be honest and step forward instead of living like a depressed puppet who let his mother have the power over him. At least, when it comes to Siting, he don't play. I can't wait until the the whole truth comes out and he cut ties with his mother 🙃

I saw some condemning Siting & Fengrui for Peiyan's heartbreak... That's unfair to set Siting as the villain in Fengrui & Peiyan relationship. But then again it's easy to put someone as the bad guy isn't it? It's much easier if we can just put blame and hate on a character right? But that's just not how it works and you should know by now. Have we truly forgotten who's the true villain here? it's Gao Hui and her brother. Yes, Fengrui is in the wrong and is cruel to Peiyan for going along and almost marrying her when he don't love her. On the other hand, Peiyan knew that Fengrui didn't actually love her and she CHOSE to stay by his side even if he don't love her, she even admit it herself so i'm afraid she dug her own grave for this one. Not everything is as simple a black and white and who's the good and bad guy. It's just humans with their complexity, decisions and the consequences 🙂

Yeah, it seems that a lot of people nowadays are used to instant things. Everything must be fast and instant and people are starting to develop such a short attention time span to the point where people loses their temper when they're getting impatient. At this point, we are going straight to brainrot which is concerning 😅

I agree with you. The way i see it, i think the reason Siting went to help Pei yan for the wedding plan is that, she's mostly doing it because she needed a closure. She's trying so hard to convince herself and by doing that, she thought it will help herself find closure to move on from Fengrui. Which as you can see, she failed miserably. And the moment she got their wedding invitation, she got pulled back to reality and her coping mechanisms crashed down. She still very much loves him and probably will never find the closure she needed and that left her heartbroken. Not to mention, Fengrui marrying Peiyan would means that she probably wouldn't be able to meet her son like the way she have been doing.


I get that it's frustrating to watch and there are questionable acts of the characters but it's pretty realistic in a sense. Some get impatient and dropped this drama bscause they're frustrated and saw that there's barely romance here.

It's been 12 years, what do you expect? and also, this is not youth/idol romance drama, this is two people in their mid 30s or something who have a son together and they're caught in layers of complicated situation and heavy misunderstandings. Do you expect them to just run into each other arms and get back together? with this big misunderstanding and fear? Obviously that won't happen. Not to mention the realistic part of them being afraid to confront each other. That part is so frustrating, i know. I'm also frustrated seeing them but on the other hand, i understand where they're coming from and it's so human of them to feel and act that way.


People criticize how unrealistic this drama is but didn't realize that this actually happens in real life too and there are people like this too irl 😅
Maybe not the part where GH took Lexuan and hid him away from Siting that part is almost impossible to happen especially in this era 🤣 but the other things? that actually happens in real life.

We all have our frustrating moments too, we judge these characters easily as if we're in their shoes when we're actually not. I get the impatient and frustration of watching this but let's not hate this drama too much because so far, aside from some unnecessary screentime of Siting's bestfriend love story, it's pretty much still ok. We're basically watching a slowburn here so if you can't stand it, we all are free to drop this drama. This drama is definitely not for the weak 😫

Finally... It's picking up. The next episode is the scene that i've been waiting for... Siting will confront Fengrui. Feng Rui and Pei Yan will also break up and Pei yan guessed that Siting is Lexuan's mother and no wonder she somehow kept seeing Siting everytime she look into Lexuan eyes 🥲

She plays the same kind of role as well in Beloved (2025). When i saw her in this drama, I immediately sigh because she plays this kind of role too well 😅

They both still love each other. They're both afraid of confrontating each other because they're afraid of the asnwer they'll get.


They're afraid that the answer is indeed what they fear of (which for Siting it would be Fengrui siding with his mother and hiding Lexuan from her and as for Fengrui, the reason Siting left him and their newborn son is because she wanted to pursue her career and see both Lexuan and Fengrui as a burden which in both case aren't true at all. It's just them with their misunderstanding and fear).


I really hope we'll soon get to see that scene where Siting is drunk and fell on the stairs and asked Fengrui why he lied to her, i think that's probably the scene where Fengrui found out that his mother lied to her. They need to stop dragging it so much, at least clear the misunderstanding between them so they can find a way to work it out 😫


And yes! Lexuan and Siting does have a bond together, they didn't have to know that they're both mother and son, it's just there. I hope to see more of them, my precious babies deserve better and i can't wait. I wish we get to all the episodes at once cause i'm getting impatient and it's driving me insanee 🥲

Yeah, Peiyan saw the signs but still in denial and still holding on to her wishful thinking. She literally saw the weird tense vibe between Siting and Fengrui and how later Fengrui always seems off and act weird whenever he just met Siting but she still didn't get take that as a wake up call 😅 At this point, It's also on her if she gets hurt cause she clearly saw the signs but brush it all aside instead of taking them as a warning to back down and leave before she's stuck with a Mother in law that controls too much and Fengrui who only treated her with kindness but not love 😅


I just know the scene between Lexuan and Siting will break me 🥲


I honestly understand why Siting is taking so much consideration when she consult the attorney(correct me if i'm wrong) on taking her right to take the custody of Lexuan from Fengrui. I'm afraid a lot people don't seem to get why she's holding back. Siting can literally report Fengrui's mother and take her right as a mother to get Lexuan's custody but the attorney she consulted to said the court will ask Lexuan opinion about it and the chance of her getting Lexuan's custody is low.

People need to understand that Siting is thinking about Lexuan's feeling above all things, which is heartbreaking for me to see how selfless and mature she is regarding this matter. She can just go fight against Fengrui and his family in the court but she thinks that it would be selfish of her to do it and that Lexuan is the one who's going to get hurt the most in this fight and she doesn't want that which for me is so devastating. I love how she doesn't want Lexuan to get hurt because of the adults selfishness but i'm also heartbroken to see her struggling and suffer so much for her to just wanting her son back to her and she can't even do so because she doesn't want Lexuan to get hurt 😭

Yeah, based on some clips i saw, he will stands up for Siting and go against his mother. And yeah, we can see that he's struggling too and that he's actually at loss, what kept him going is Lexuan, other than that, he's a depressed man but i really hope he'll stop giving false hope to that poor naive lady who's genuine to him and Lexuan, he need to stop this whole thing asap. She on the other hand, also need to realize that she's setting up herself to get hurt cause she saw the signs but it seems she hasn't got the wake up call yet. I really can't wait for that moment to come when he found out his mother been lying to him and Siting. I need some progress asap cause it's driving me insane at this point. I just want Siting, Fengrui and Lexuan to know the truth so they can heal from the misunderstandings and the lies Fengrui's mother made, i just want Lexuan to be happy as well and found out that he wasn't abandoned 😭 Also as far i remember, i don't think they were married yet back then

I know right 😭 I was heartbroken when i saw that clip as well... I really hope things get cleared up fast between Siting, Lexuan and Fengrui so the 3 of them knows the truth and so both Siting and Lexuan can mend their relationship as a mother and son, the relationship that Fengrui's mother severed. I don't think i can take it anymore if they don't start showing us progress between Siting and Lexuan, i just want Lexuan to know he was not abandoned and how her mother loves him so much, more than he know 😭

Oh god, i just realized and saw a trailer of this drama that i haven't seen before, Tan Siting's best friend doesn't seem to be a good friend either... Why is she suffering so much, poor Siting... And apparently, my speculation is true, Haotian is a rapist and watching the trailer convinced me even more cause Siting said to someone "You think i want to get married into a rapist's family?". Istg if Fengrui don't grow a backbone and don't cut ties with his mother, he don't deserve to be with Lexuan. This is just madness, idk how willl Siting get back at those evil people and their enabler 😫

I can't wait to see the downfall of Fengrui's mother (Gao Hui). That woman need to be locked up in jail for the evil deeds she did and for also covering up evil deeds as well. Based on some things i've gathered and based on what we've also seen so far, her little brother (Hao Tian) definitely did something to Shi Wei that driven her to her death. As we all can see, Haotian was pestering Shi Wei in a inappropriate way. He probably kept doing it or he took it to another level of despicable to the point where she either kill herself or it was Hao Tian who may accidentally kill her and Siting's father knows something about it and was trying to expose Hao Tian but somehow Hao Tian ended up dead and most likely, he did it to himself. So basically Siting's father isn't the one who killed Haotian. Last but not least, then comes Fengrui's mother blaming Siting's father for her little brother's death and pin Shi Wei's death onto him as well. It's all just my speculation so let's wait until they reveal what happened and what Haotian did and how he died but i think my speculation isn't far off from what happened 🥲

Same! It's my current favorite scene of the drama. They really resembles each other that it makes me feel sad, knowing they're separated for 12 years because of Fengrui's mother. I hope we'll get to see them ended up happily together as a mother and son, let them both gets the love that they deserve for each other as a mother and son ):
