pssst, I've had this on hold forever and I'm wondering, is it best to just drop it? I don't even know where to…
Oh I thought you had already seen it!! I'm sure it was you that told me to watch it ages ago lol I downloaded it. I would say only bother if you are a die hard fan of the cast. I really liked the beginning but it soon got draggy. Its also very dated and some of the main characters are annoying. I liked some of the OST (Gloomy Sunday)
Just started this and 15 mins in and I am already gritting my teeth and rolling my eyes...I have a horrible feeling…
1. Yes you deliberately have a lie in and turn up late for work on your first day in a new dept and of course you continually mess up when its a job you took 3 years to apply for >_< 2. The whole scene with the man vandalising the self-ticket kiosks like this could happen in an international airport where security is tight. And yes the guy can go on a rampage for ages with loads of onlookers but not a single security guard shows up .... I despair!!!
EDIT: after finishing ep 1 my guess was right he saved her from physical harm 3 times in just ep 1 and unfortunately the preview for ep 2 shows the female lead will continue to be an a******
The only good point about the whole episode was the Team leader telling the FL off ! I was cheering her on lol
Just started this and 15 mins in and I am already gritting my teeth and rolling my eyes...I have a horrible feeling the lead female will be a clumsy, obtuse heroine who constantly gets into scrapes with the lead male always on hand to rescue her. I'm so disappointed as I had such high hopes for this one rest in spoiler....
Just saw first 2 episode and I love it (I should have waited for more to air before starting but couldn't resist >_<) . I really liked Lee Som in BTIMFL and was looking forward to seeing her again. Seo Kang Joon is so adorkable love the different character he is playing here. especially in the first 2 eps
Random comments * dislike the annoying younger high school sister who looks about 10 years older than SKJ. * like his friend Hyun Sang Hyun he seems like a genuine friend. *anyone else lol when the mom saw him standing in the kitchen in shadow after he had the perm and she thought it was her mother XD
I am undecided about whether to start this , the comments seem positive but the rating in MDL is quite low in comparison. Can anyone suggest what dramas it is similar to?
I want to watch this drama, but I'm a bit iffy on the age gap. The writer and director of this drama are the same…
I wasn't keen on the age gap either to be honest, but I have to say it isn't as apparent in Mr Sunshine as it was in Goblin. The lead actress in Mr Sunshine plays the character in a mature, serious and refined way which makes a big difference. Also at the start of the drama the female character is in her late 20's and then as time progresses she is about 31. Whereas my big problem with Goblin was that the female character was a high school student for most of the drama and she was quite immature and childish which highlighted the age difference between her and the male lead who was centuries old. Also the romance is quite restrained and understated in Mr Sunshine.
I liked the first few episodes with the young cast. However, this drama gave us a female lead (younger sister - played by Kim Hyun Joo) who had to be one of the most stupidest and obtuse I have seen in dramas (and I have seen quite a lot!). It is one thing to be naive and gullible and unaware of people conspiring against you, that is fine but when you know who your enemy is and the fact that they have tried to harm you several times you still blithely forgive them and trust them is beyond stupidity reserved even for the most dimwitted Kdrama doormat heriones. She made me so angry I was almost rooting for the villain lol
I liked the older sister played by Kim Ji Ho, she was nice without being a moron. The villain of the piece remained a deluded self obsessed greedy b**** right to the end which was frustrating.
The drama was further spoiled for me by an unnecessary convoluted love square. Not recommended unless you a fan of the stars or love older makjang melodramas.
