For me the romantic relationship(s) are not pivotal in the Let's Eat series. This drama is about the food, quirky characters, food, comedy, food, elements of mystery and FOOD.
I really do not understand why people demand continuity from a series such as this, I mean James Bond has different girl in every film (quite often more than one in the same film lol) and no one insists the same girl be in the next film.
By the way I haven't started Let's Eat 3 yet will start when more eps have aired.
The constant postponements of this dramas episodes led to fragmentation and I felt it was getting draggy. However I picked it up again after a long break from ep 16-28 and wow did it pick up speed. The acting is top notch especially from psycho dad, Namoo, Hyunmoo and mom Ok Hee. I hope they end it well.
I have to say I am disappointed with the ending a bit as I was waiting for the "Secret Mother" storyline to be revealed. There was none so what was the point of the title of this drama ? Taking the drama title literally I had come up with a convoluted plotline (with the mistress being the biological mother of the little girl that died and the lead female having been indoctrinated psychologically by evil mother in law to think the child was hers lol) so for me the ending of the actual drama was lacklustre.
Just saw ep 10 and not that much of a surprise for me as at the beginning I thought he might have similar powers to his sister, and when nothing was revealed I thought oh maybe not lol but this drama just gets better with each episode love all the intricacies and links. Hope they wrap it up well.
This is exactly how I felt about the American show. They drew out the drama of Mike not being a lawyer forever.…
I haven't seen the US series so not sure how faithful the Korean version was to the original. Here in UK you don't have to have a law degree/further qualifications to work as a "lawyer" in an office. There are certain things you cannot do such as represent clients at certain courts and sign off legal documents. But a lot of the work Go Yeon Woo did such as negotiate contracts, seeing clients etc he could have done as a paralegal. Anything requiring a lawyer could have been covered by his boss so the whole premise of the show I found ridiculous especially when these people are supposedly geniuses >_<
To state the bleeding obvious if he had just hired him as a paralegal/assistant instead of as a qualified lawyer then they could have avoided all this drama >_<

Love this show & The Genius series. Waited many months for the subs to be done but it was well worth the wait.
