I'm not sure if I want to start watching this drama or not... Can someone tell what the drama is about (the summary…
I would describe it as a makjang mystery/thriller. I have seen 28/40 eps. It is an enjoyable watch and the mystery element keeps you guessing. I like the cast (except for Nam Sung Mi who I dont like as an actress anyway) and the eps are short 50/55 mins which makes it an easy watch. I will put a synopsis of the storyline in a spoiler comment below.
Given the sudden 2 episode cut I think they ended it as well as they could. If they had tried to crowbar a lovey dovey ending it would have felt rushed and insincere. I would have loved to seen the the other 2 guys from college days in the present time. I will always wonder what if we had been able to see the full 16 episodes play out as written :(
Goo Dae Young has to be one of my most favourite drama characters and I have loved the Let's Eat series so I am sad at the way it ended with only 14 eps.
Just started this on ep 2 now and I am confused about Dr Ye Jin Woo's brother...... rest in spoiler
First he sees him randomly walking around the hospital but no one else can see him so I thought he was a ghost. Then he is in his house in a wheelchair & at his office/work so I am thinking he does exist but Dr Ye still sees him walking around the hospital what on earth is going on !??
Shame its cancelled, I was enjoying it but I can see why it didn't appeal to people. They spent way too long on each trip. Oman was over 7 episodes (and the eps are 80/90 mins long) of relentless walking in the desert. If the editing had been tighter it might have been successful.
Nam Shin 3 crying all the sudden at the end was corny. Super loving and loyal Ye Na got screwed over. Human Nam…
I agree with all your points especially about Nam Shin and Seo Jong Il's henchman getting off scot free for all the bad things they did. But for now I gave it a 9/10 (I may mark it down later lol) what can I say I got swayed by SKJ 's oh so pretty face xD
This drama is good. It's a makjang but with high quality production. But the casting is off. I don't think Seohyun…
I agree with you the drunk acting had me cringing with embarrassment it was dreadful. She is inconsistent some scenes she is competent so you relax and think this will be fine then suddenly you get a bad scene and it throws you off.
Im Soo Hyang looks too mature to play an 18/ 19 year old but she definitely has the face for the role. Although I like her as an actress I have always thought her face looked like she had obvious plastic surgery whether thats true or not I have no idea but kudos to her for taking on such a role and addressing the issue head on.
Goo Dae Young has to be one of my most favourite drama characters and I have loved the Let's Eat series so I am sad at the way it ended with only 14 eps.
