Just saw ep 1 not sure about this at all. I find the comedy awkward and cringy. I do like the cast though so not sure whether to continue. Does the comedy continue in this vein?

The hypocrisy of the 2 moms is mind boggling. They want to control every aspect of their children's lives and wont let them do what they want yet when they were young themselves they got up to all sorts much worse than their kids lol

Yes I have you to thank for introducing me to Family's Honour :) Wish there were more cosy family dramas out there for me to watch. Yes lets compare notes when you are caught up. I have seen to ep 45.

Im so glad I found this in decent video quality and with English subs. Its getting harder and harder to find older 50 ep+ cosy family dramas with not too much makjang

Just saw first 2 eps and I'm not sure about this one, something seems to be lacking. I haven't connected with the character of Kang In Kyu, he is supposed to be a sympathetic character with what he went through as a child but I feel nothing.
And I cannot stand Jun So Min since shes been on Running Man so I hope I can block her out. Shame as I really like Jo Jae Hyun and was looking forward to a decent drama. Not sure if I will be able to stick with it...

I gave it a 9 rating. Was thinking of 8 but erred on side of being generous for now lol

+ 3 intelligent characters (Do Hyun, In Hye and Lawyer Choi)
+ Wonderfully entertaining 2 older Yoo brothers (the legitimate sons hehehe)
+ Good story with lots of twists and turns, plenty of scheming and switching alliances

- Do Hyuns father/brother & rest of their motley crew totally superfluous and annoying
- Jung Yeon I found her character dull and uninteresting. Normally I find Lee Min Jung
charming but in this I just didn't connect with her.

Ironic that this drama is about chaebols getting away with murder (quite literally) and she was married into the most famous chaebol family and had an acrimonious split. Feels like someone is out to get her but she didn't help herself by losing her temper. Shame as I was enjoying this drama not sure how it will continue

I agree. I am watching him in Midas right now. He is so entertaining in whatever role I see him in.

I like Jang Mi Hee too. I first saw her in Unkind Women and my friend and I dubbed her "classy beautiful lady."

Family's Honour is one of my favourite family dramas. PSH was very memorable in that drama. I loved his angst when he realises he has fallen into his own trap XD
I remember watching the whole thing in about 20 days that is quite a marathon for me!

I really liked the grandfather in THAT drama he was so calm, gentle and wise unlike the awful one in this drama lol

I gave it a 8 rating.

+ Gorgeous scenery (Slovenia)
+ The historical backstory
+ 3 of the most gorgeous females in one drama
+ KRW's acting - the way he looked at Hae Ra - he appeared genuinely besotted.
+ THE EARRINGS

- Lack of delivery on the supernatural storyline which promised so much at the beginning
- Lack of character development for Sharon
- The poor special effects (make-up especially)

What a talented child star

I wish there were more dramas of hers to watch

What can I say wonderful character driven story. Amazing memorable dialogues. And Kang Doo has the biggest heart of anyone I have seen in dramas. Simply beautiful.

Just finished this superb drama 10/10
Well crafted dramatic work of art. Jang Hyuk's acting was on point in this he exuded restrained intensity. The rest of the cast were magnificent only character that fell a little flat for me was Mo Hyun. This drama had some of the most heart stopping cliffhangers I have ever seen. Loved the direction (slo-mo ♥) and the background music just fit perfectly. My heart has never raced so much whilst watching a Kdrama. Loved it.
