The plot wasn’t for me at all but wow, the ML looked so handsome (especially as general/ prince) 🥵❤️ Plus, the production quality is amazing for such a short drama!!
I watched it for the second time and I like the show, but I find it so funny that people always dismiss Japanese dramas because of “miscommunication” and this show is literally the biggest miscommunication drama ever. For example: Tine: *makes a long declaration of love* Sarawat: “You don't have to like me. Just open your heart to me” ( Eh what? Did you hear what Tine said? Didn‘t we just accomplish that already?) Next Episode: *Tine taking 10 steps back and still not sure about Sarawat*. (Ok, nope, obviously we didn’t accomplish that at all 🤦♂️)
I feel like I saw something different to everyone else. It wasn't funny to me, it was dry as hell. I don't care about a cheap budget, but this was just.. lame? And the only funny thing (in an ironic way) was the bed scene when one of them just lay there staring at the ceiling probably thinking about England or something (while the other one really tried to do his best but just got no reaction at all, poor guy 😅) But that's just my personal opinion, so don't feel offended if you have a different one.
That would, do you know any dramas that have that?
Sadly no, at least not to the extent that I would like. My favorite strong fl is Shen Li (The Legend of Shen Li) but even though I love the ml more than anything, he's not bad boy enough 😅
Why does the uncut version contain 5 million cuts? What the hell kind of a nuisance is that! Not only are important scenes (like conversations) cut out very badly and obviously, but kisses are cut out too? Why make an uncut version if that's how it's done? This is a real disappointment in my opinion! The only thing that could make the Thai version better compared to the original would have been a bolder approach, but no, nothing at all. So unfortunately the original Chinese version remains the best imo!
It was fun to watch and seeing Boss and Fort was a nice bonus! 🫶 (I would have loved to see the Japanese versions see their boyfriends around the Thai versions and be jealous (of themselves). That would’ve been hot on so many levels lol 😂 ❤️)
...I wish Jin had told at least one person (friend/mother/father (I don't care who)) about their relationship.…
Not only would it show character development, but it would also be a great thing for Japan (culture vise). And like I said, I realize it would have been out of character for him to spread it everywhere, but it would have been a good compromise if he told at least one person. Or married in secret. I just craved a tiny little bit more (cause I loved the drama so much 😖❤️)
