It's pretty good for a short length series! (if you can overlook a few odd facts, see spoilers below for more. There's also a comment about the ending in the spoiler)
Synopsis: FL is a famous pianist and painter. She dies during one of her concerts and wakes up as the adopted daughter of a rich family (who outwardly resembles her old self, but whose personality was very unpopular in the family). Apparently she was transported into a book she read, but her old self also existed in the book, so the characters know about her old self. ML is FL's adopted brother. He didn't really like her in the past because she made herself unpopular, but the new FL seems different, plus FL immediately fell in love with ML... how will it end?
Ok...after reading the synopsis, I thought long and hard about whether I should watch this drama. But by chance…
ML takes care (in a purely platonic way!) of FL for 5 years, because FL behaves like a child after a head injury (and looks like one because of the actress 🫣). FL regains consciousness but continues to act as if she were a child (because of dramaland reasons). She gets poisoned with a love drug and ML (who still thinks she's mentally a child!) and she...well. They do it 😅 That's pretty shady in my eyes, but well.... (Afterwards, they immediately clear the situation up but.. well. It’s pretty weird imo)
Ok...after reading the synopsis, I thought long and hard about whether I should watch this drama. But by chance I stumbled across the other series of the two main actors and found them quite nice, so I wanted to give this one a chance too.
Now let me say this: morally speaking, the drama is really a bit borderline (if you want to know more click on the spoiler below). But otherwise pretty good! Consistent, satisfying plot (satisfying revenge plot over the entire drama!!) and high quality production. It was interesting until the end :)
Unfortunately the translations are quite poor, some parts are not translated at all, so it was difficult to watch. The story was quite clichéd and soap opera-like. Personally, I liked another drama (Deep in the White Clouds There Is My Dear) with the same mains better
Also still here. But watching the princess royal after the double. Did you try anything new?
I will definitely put The Princess Royal on my "want to watch" list, thanks! (I love the fact that it's the same house, I'm sure it will bring back memories 😆❤️) But I can't watch it yet, I have a strict "don't watch until all episodes are available" rule.... 😅 (to protect myself from bad endings and to not suffer from impatience while waiting for the next episode)
My first thought was: Oh no, not this plot again (because I've seen the basic story at least three times recently), but anyway, I gave it a try and was pleasantly surprised!
The quality is very good for a short drama, the translation is pretty good too and overall it's the best version of the plot so far in my eyes. I also liked the actors, even if it was pretty tough at the beginning (because fl looks like a primary school kid 😅)
conclusion: If you want to see a nice, short, beautiful and relaxing show, you should definitely check it out. (Best of all, it's not as overdramatic as the other versions and has a pretty solid storyline) 😊

I've heard about The Double, but somehow I can't motivate myself to see it. It must be good (the rating is pretty high), but instead of being excited, I'm annoyed that the rating is higher than TLoSL 🤦♂️🥲 I crave the chemistry of SL and XY but I couldn’t find it in any other drama till now, so I continue to suffer and wander around in this comment section😩
so it's episode 21 and They still not together or confess lol cdrama is just wasting time and I guess they get…
From my point of view, they’re literally together and deeply committed to each other from the start (they just can’t act on it because of reasons. I mean it’s complicated lol But when they’re finally together together..🔥🔥🔥😂)
I wouldn't say there are any sexual acts, there were very basic hints that they were going to have sex. Pretty…
Trust me, Mood Indigo and its sequels as well as Taikan Yoho are probably the most daring Japanese BL. I don't know much about iQIYI (and when I look, I can't find any Japanese BL there at the moment), but if you're into BL and don't want too much skinship, I've seen that they have Blueming and Love Traktor, both of which are South Korean and have a pretty sweet storyline.

Congratulations, you have hit the 10%, you should try your luck in the lottery 😂👍 But seriously, overall it’s pretty rare for Japanese series to show a lot of skinship…😅
