If you don’t like open endings, don’t start to watch this one. Season 2 is the same as season 1, it just ends in the middle…obviously this drama was meant to have 90 eps like all the other short length series, but season 3 was never aired. It’s a shame, I kind of liked it..

I totally understand the age thing. Before TLoSL, I thought LBFAD was the best xianxia. After TLoSL, I tried to watch it again and couldn't. I just didn't have the patience anymore. TLoSL ruined me.... 😵🥲
ML is the suffering hero, FL is the ice queen, everyone is just fucking beautiful and the plot makes no sense at all, but it doesn't matter because the focus is definitely on the heartbreak and suffer theme. (Add to that the same amount of kissing and stabbing and you have an aesthetically pleasing drama with a senseless plot).
I've never been so torn by a drama before. It kept me riveted as I got angrier with the plot....🤦♂️ And at the end, I’ve never wished more for a ML to just kill the FL and live happily ever after 😑 (it would’ve been my favorite happy end)
Anyway, kudos go out to the ML, I totally fell for him (and without him I definitely would have dropped the drama )😅❤️
