I didn't need her character omnipotent like in the novel. I mean with China's ban on reincarnation stories,I guess it's fine if she doesn't have her amazing martial arts. BUT,her base character is that she's strong. She is the legitimate daughter of Ye mansion,her maternal family is Xu family,so even without her core powers and Dingguo Wang Fei's title, nobody should be able to touch her.

Exactly. my hope for this drama is gone. I thought we'll finally see a strong, omnipotent heroine along with a yandere, powerful hero. but no.. it's the same old crap. 🥲🥲 thank goodness at least the novel is translated and free,so I could enjoy my power couple. I won't forgive the director. I thought since the director is woman herself, she'd make the heroine powerful if not OP. but no, it's the same old cliche story. I give up on it. 😪

in the novel.. her step mother never had the chance to hit her because, YeLi is the legitimate daughter of the Ye household. I don't know what kinda BS director is putting in the drama.

BRO, IT'S PISSING ME OFF. They changed YeLi's character from a strong, intelligent character to a damsel in distress. 🥲 I saw a video where she was getting beaten by an old lady. In the novel,there was no one who could even touch her, especially not after she got the title of 'Dingguo Wang Fei'. That title commands enough respect from everyone,even from the emperor,and not to forget her amazing martial arts power that even her enemies had to think thrice to make a move on her. They're gonna turn my YeLi into a foolish weak woman 😢 who can't even defend herself. DIRECTOR, YOU DO THIS WITH EVERY FEMALE LEAD OF YOURS.

My expectations for this drama is so low now. 😢 we'll probably never see YeLi beating others with her amazing martial arts,how she commanded the Mo army,how she managed to build an new special army Qilin. gone.. everything is gone. Cnetz should start petition for the character to be a strong woman instead of focusing on damn clothes.

They're such perfect YeLi and Mo XiuYao.. I'm so happy the director chose them. YL and MXY are such a power couple. Strong, elegant and highly intelligent.

Ahahhaha.. XiuYao only sees his nostrils.. so he doesn't even look up to him 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I wonder if it'll be in the drama!

It does but it's XiuYao's revenge against the emperor. Not YeLi. They changed the story quite a bit. There was never a water scene that they showed in trailer.

And her response was: "you should see a doctor, delusions are a sign of illness" 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Mo JingLi was supposed to marry YeLi by the previous emperor's decree. But YeLi's half sister Ye Ying seduced Mo JingLi and he heard rumours that YeLi isn't beautiful or smart, she's crude and everything he doesn't like,so he disdain YeLi and broke off the engagement and he married Ye Ying. But then he understood, YeLi is too good and she didn't care about Mo JingLi so he started acting obsessive towards her. He kidnapped her once.. but that didn't stop him from having multiple wives, concubines.. utterly despicable.

Oh really? I remember in the novel only he can compare to MXY in looks,if not better than him,lol. But he's weak like chicken.

Same.. I really hope they keep the interesting dialogues, XiuYao's possesive behaviour.

When Empress Dowager tried to force a concubine on MXY, YeLi said "I guarantee you,my funeral will be much grander than the wedding"

When MXY said, "Mo XiuYao will only love A'Li in this life"

When MXY said, "I don't believe in god's or ghosts but I will turn this world into purgatory and let all the living things accompany A'Li in netherworld"

When YeLi said to Mo JingLi, "delusions are roots of illness" 😂😂

So many more dialogues that needs to be represented,I really hope director won't cut these awesome parts.

People who are complaining about the costumes,did they even read the novel? If not I certainly would like to recommend them to read it, specially the fanclubs who made it to the top search. YeLi,Mo XiuYao both wore plain clothes. They used to wear pale blue,white.. the cool tone colours. They never liked gaudy extravagant clothes,even at the end of the novel, they wore simple clothing that made them look like immortal couple who does not belong in the worldly affairs. Even the villainess,consort Liu wore white, people called her Ice Beauty. If they used extravagant clothing I'd have been more disappointed. And I'm sure other readers would have too.
And tbh,when I saw BaiLu in the pink outwear without any complicated hairstyle,or jewellery and with just light make up,I found her beautiful. Pink suits her the most,and blue too..

Let me tell you,Mo JingLi has the worst ending. Sigh.. he deserved it but.. it's still pitiful.

Finished the novel. I.. I feel like Mo JingLi was kind of pitiful at the end,even though he's an absolute piece of scum. Mo JingQi was XiuYao's biggest enemy but he got better ending than Mo JingLi's.. that stupid cannon fodder. After reading the novel,I pitied him. Even felt sad. I was thinking about him the whole day. Every other villain,be it Lei ZhenTing or Ren Qining..or others they got better ending than Mo JingLi. But even if you give him a second chance, that stüpid man won't turn around. He'd still do foolish things. I blame his mother,the empress Dowager, she wanted to monopolize his younger son to take over cause she was dissatisfied with her older one,Mo JingQi. Similar to Ye Ying's fate. Her father wanted her to enter JingLi's manor so he could get benefits. At the end, it'll all about self interests. As YeLi says: There are not eternal friends, there are no eternal enemies,only eternal (forgot the word lol)
