I really don't mind the slow burn romance, but it seems like thats a it has going for this drama right now. Hopefully some twist and turn is coming, as well as more fight scenes.
Love Jian Ci's acting and character here, love his coworkers too! The side characters are pretty fun to watch.
I'm enjoying the drama so far. The only thing that doesn't make sense to me is the Ah Shu character. She is just known as Yuan Mo's maid, yet she's allowed to freely enter and exit government workplaces, join in on cases, and even go into jail to interrogate prisoners. The thing is, Yuan Mo isn't even a high-ranking official with the authority to grant her such freedom. Also, it seems like everyone trusts her so easily, even though her past isn't clear! Even that SFL just all of a sudden befriend her and they act like Bff in like a hot min.
I'm backkkkkkkkk, my lovely community page! I was knee-deep in toxic pages recently trying to find something to…
Hahah it's a battle zone there! 😂😂😂. I came here to recover from my other bf's saying goodbye. ❤️ Was watching some cute clips the other day. Def the best happy lovers!
Finally finished the last two episodes last night! I love how the production team honored XL’s final moments, making them so beautiful and memorable. The acting was great, and if you don't compare it to the book or know about CX's character changes, the drama makes enough sense. I've been watching C-dramas since I was a toddler (a long time), and XL is one of the most unique characters in the C-drama world. Thanks to this story and drama for giving us such an amazing character!
I've always been a fan of Yang Zi, and I think she did an amazing job as Xiao Yao. I can't imagine anyone else playing this role! In my opinion, this is her best performance yet.
Even though I knew the drama wouldn't end with XY and XL together, I couldn't help but enjoy their scenes. Even with little interaction and no physical contact, their chemistry was evident. I hope they can work on another project together! Anyways, happy debating! Thanks for the good time, everyone!
Its indeed funny, if you scroll further and further down, (the post may be buried or deleted by now) instead of…
I recall TSJ spying into the mirror and watching XY at the casino with XL., that's not creepy? That's like placing a CCTV with no warming sign. That's not pervy?
For the disappointment that s2 has been, I enjoyed my XiaoJing little moments. I was pleased to see their wedding…
Dude. Every one of the characters drink and cry by themselves. Even TSJ crying alone up in the mountains when his grandmother said no to him, 🤣, snot and all!
Same writer just poor execution. And TSJ dying was great, to bad he didn't stay dead.
Lol I giggled at the comment Hehe, and lol when I saw the TSJ floating in the middle of the sea, sorry but that scene looked cool and funny and at the same time. He was a starfish, almost salted fish. 🤣
Are you suggesting that it’s it’s ok with you that he touches/kisses her while she’s unconscious? And married…
Are you disturb that this drama romanticizes suicide, relative love, affairs , poor aseptic wound dressing, and highly bacteria-contaminated mouth feeding to sickly people?

Geeze Louis, mother Maryann on a rocking chair, stick to the G rated Disney stuff. Cdramas has some crazy stuff. You haven't come across dramas where the woman have to give herself to the man to cure his poison yet huh ☠️☠️☠️
P. S The press on nails are quite distracting heh
