The crew really understood the book lol, they meticulously ensured the inclusion of numerous small details to enrich the characterization for their character. For instance, when Shen Li assumed her human form to confront the ghost husband, she did not wear shoes; this remained consistent as she walked the bridge at night and plunged into the river. Another example, Xing Yun's tentative nature was portrayed through scenes of him sewing and altering his clothes to fit her.

That was her final choice. Both ZLY and LGX went to be dubbed twice using different styles; they also had Bian Jiang Studio dub the voice, when comparing they felt the voice actor was more suited. . As a producer, she made the right choice. They swallowed their ego and chose the voice that best helps shape the character for the audience to fully enjoy. I actually like the dubbing. I felt Bian Jiang tweak his voice to sound like Lgx. I dunno maybe just me.
