bruhh khemjira set my standard so high in thai bls. anw, do y'all have recommendations for this type of genre? or any thai bls (less nc scene) with dark concept.
I was actually not enjoying it too much, but when Hayakawa started crying and they were hugging that really touched…
i thought the same. i was expecting Hayakawa to just say that he likes Konno but i didn't expect him to cry and be miserable.😔 it was such a heartwarming scene for me.
this is what happens to me when i watch a really good series, i end up being convinced to leave an insanely long comment.
I waited so long for Japanese BLs this year, and I was seriously starting to lose my mind because so few have been released or are currently ongoing. When I saw on X that Usa Takuma was going to be in a new BL, I got so excited because I didn’t expect him to have another bl project.
Of course, as someone addicted to JBLs, I was really looking forward to this series. When I saw the poster, I was impressed—it looked so good!!! I already had high expectations, but I didn’t expect the series to be this beautiful.😭💖
The cinematography and story were both heart-wrenching and heartwarming. Hayakawa is such a heartbreaking character, and I truly connected with his story. Every time I learned more about what he went through and how lonely he felt, my chest would tighten—it really hurt. As for Konno.. bro is so handsome LMFAO. Especially in the intro, when they showed a close-up of his face— and he looked like he had freckles?! That was a huge plus for me because I love freckles 💖
Anyway, Konno's character was a bit all over the place. 😔 He’s kind and he helped Hayakawa return to making music, but honestly, he was kind of a loser. He couldn’t even figure out if he liked Hayakawa or not, and after he confessed on the rooftop, Konno just froze. He didn’t even try to talk it out which led to them being apart for three years. 😭
Thankfully, they saw each other again during Hayakawa’s live performance. That scene where Konno was watching Hayakawa perform with teary eyes—he looked so mesmerized. You could really tell that he loved him. That was one of my favorite scenes. It made my heart ache in the best way.
I absolutely loved the ending. They actually talked about the rooftop confession, and the scene where Konno hugged Hayakawa and said he liked him too? That made me cry so much. 😭💖 It felt so rare in JBL to see a hug like that during confession because it's usually a kiss in most JBLs, that's why the hug was so pure. I melted. Then Hayakawa started crying, and all I wanted to do was punch the air and thank everyone involved for finally giving my baby the love he’d been waiting for all this time. Another part that hit so hard was when Konno wiped Hayakawa’s tears before kissing him 😭 Wasn’t that just so pure?! You could really feel how much they loved each other, especially after three years of being apart. Destiny truly brought them back together, and this time, for real.
I'm genuinely thankful I got to watch such a beautiful Japanese BL while I'm alive 😭 I’m so grateful to the entire team who created this masterpiece. As a JBL addict, this was so pure and so beautifully made. I loved everything about the series, and I really hope there's a continuation. I want to see more of their relationship as lovers, especially after being separated for so long. I honestly think the ending felt a bit short—like it wasn’t fair for a story this good to end that quickly. LMFAO.
Lately, I’ve been listening to the opening song “2025” by Usa Takuma (originally by Hakubi), and thinking about how Hayakawa wrote and performed that song because of Konno just makes it even more special RAAAAAAAHHHH😭
I hope more series like this one are made, but to be honest, I’d rather have a Season 2 than anything else. 🥹😔💖
finally! someone who is so honest about his feelings. i havent seen a straightforward babyboy in a jbl for such a long time and thank goodness, this series ain't like the others.
also, i noticed that the ending reminds me of minasho ending!😭 broo it's so similar abzjzbjzbzj the beach, the holding hands while showing their back?!? hell yeahhh
