Oh the story sums up the current thing that is going on for genZs — situationship, where both parties agreed to not have label first in their so call relationship status. I kind of hate the fact that I too got involved in a situationship and it didn't work and I was ghosted. He liked me first and he confessed and yeah I fell for him and now he's acting up and I'm the one chasing him now. It's so ridiculous. I feel so pathetic so petty. He's my first and I this happened. Ugh! Actually it's been days since he haven't talked to me so I went and checked Gelboys and I've finished 2 eps and I was shocked because what the f. It sums up my situationship story at some point. I just thought I could get away from thinking about him. It's not. I'm still not over him. I'm really so pathetic. How I wish I didn't get my guard down. Now what? I just want to enjoy life and someone just ruined it! Why oh why? Life really humbles me. I'm still healing and I do hope I'll get over it soon because it hurts. I've been crying each night. Trying to find fault, what have I done? Please please God heal me and just get rid of this longing for someone off of me. I don't want it. It's killing me.
I don't like bromance as a meaning of BL censored, only if it is the meaning of the word when it was created by…
I understand but the thing is most Chinese *bromance* are actually a homosexual relationship from their source material which is the danmei. They are definitely a censored adaptation.
China could easily dominate the BL industry even with just this bromance trope alone they garnered a lot of attention. In retrospect, homosexuality was widely accepted in ancient China even from those dynastic periods. Even the emperor Han Ai was widely accepted having his lover around even in bed. So how is present China so restrictive towards the LGBTQ community? It's part of their people, their population. I would love to see China embracing them, hopefully in the near future. Tho written narratives of homosexuality aren't restricted. It's still a win. But then I really wanna see China be so open with that on films. Please God let me live til that day comes.
Yes, I don't need to be a school sergeant for a long time and I secretly hoped, at the age of actors, that the…
The source material was more into the school stuff , gaokao which is a major exam of some sort, rankings and stuff. I was surprised as well. Even that 3 day break where they stayed at the dorm. They did about 36 papers of homework but that never made into the adaptation. Not until separation, their world revolve around school stuff. Your answer about that timeskip lies here.
I thought the ending was very coherent with this BL that went from nowhere to nowhere, they were at most friends…
You didn't understood what Sheng Wang had said in his POV. That was pretty much it. It's realistic as is. He already knew the answer deep in his heart, "BUT HE'S MY GE". Speaking of coherent, the adaptation was pretty much consistent with the source material.
Not me specifically reading some hate/negative comments and rating them. Bc there are two types, the one with substance and the obvious * EH? this belongs to the drain *
I've read about the IQIYI part mentioning they hold the say to make a season 2 or not. As they already bought the right of the source material. I'm not against the petition going on but on their part it's all about PROFIT tho I do hope it will come to fruition. It just sounds sad to me. They invest with money and we invest with emotions so they'll have profit. Anyways it's just one of my petty thoughts lingering lol
I envy Chinese projects they have so much episodes. Some are flops. I wish Taiwanese BLs in the future to have…
Right? Also I wish Eric and Benjamin to be paired together again in another BL. Another slowburn is absolutely a YES. Y'know he's Chinese, let's have some restrictions LMAO. And my other wish is that, GIVE ANDY CHEN HIS OWN BL STORY! Genuine question, is he even up to be a boy kisser? I do hope lol
Why is 11 a sad episode?? Are they not following the plot of the novel?? Except if they are going to use tian's…
It was shown in the trailer JTs past. The trauma with his father. There were a lot of changes in the adaptation so I guess they'll only cover the big plots.
I like the fact that this one is a breath of fresh air. For it's cuteness and charismatic characters. I don't know about you but I really do feel the emotions in their eyes. It's cute how much eyes can tell and the little actions as well. Don't you just love getting enchanted by two charismatic characters? I love how I get to giggle and just straight up being hysterical, jumping, screaming without my voice (ofc Im with my family, they'll absolutely think I getting crazy in my room lol) I do kick and roll around my bed as well 😭 . Honestly I won't deny but I have fictophilia. Especially male couples. Fictional ofc. That's why perhaps I'm into danmei. All in all it sure does make my days better. There's sadness when it's gone but it's part of it. Let's just wait and let it heal.

Anyways Director Liu Kuang is such a nice guy. I talked to him last night. He answered some of my questions. Like where did SW got drunk. I basically mean their taping site, when both of them skipped class. He said Tamsui District. Would definitely go there and take pics with me . Lame but it makes me happy 😁
