Don't know if Ji Changwook is backing out or not or if him and Park Hyungsik are playing different characters, but regardless I'm still super excitied. Dramas with big casts and budgets like Moving and Death Game were some of my favourites in the last year.

There's a reason why the original is special, but people need to go in to adaptations/remakes with a fresh mind, because if not, you're only going to watch and look out for things to criticise and dislike. It's a story based off of the original, and there will be things they change, things they will keep the same, so you're never going to be 100% satisfied if you're comparing it to the original episode by episode, or minute by minute.

Rumour says Seo In-guk is filming Monthly Boyfriend from mid-October up till at least first quarter next year? What's happening with this production then, since I thought this is filming from October onwards as well? And with news about Ji Chang-wook and Park Hyunsik and all that.

They do have main roles, just not in here for some reason. They guested on Knowing Bros together, and are on the other main poster.

Am I the only one who thinks Lee Jong-won looks the same?? Saw him in Golden Spoon, IU's music video, Hospital Playlist, I Live Alone and Salon Drip guestings.. why are comments saying he looks different lol.

I wonder which OTT this will be on. I for one, love that nowadays there's more big money thrown on these star studded shows. Hope that there's more trend towards big cast lineups like Moving and Death's Game.

Love her. I love that she plays different roles in every show she's in, from the young student ghost in Hotel del Luna, to messy red hair hacker in Minamdang and young single mum in Samdalri. And now most likely she will be playing some sort of hero in fantasy genre.

One of the teasers had Haejun and Park Dal looking at each other maybe hinting at a love line there. Maybe they will change some things up for the adaptation.

From some teasers, it looks like the second couple will be Chaeyeon's best friend and the second brother. One of the best changes they can make in the adaptation if you ask me tbh.

If it's a carbon copy yall would be hating just the same. It's a remake and an adaptation, of course there will be differences.

Spoiler but the mother has already been casted.. The actress uploaded stuff on Insta and fans already found out. Just hoping the storyline will be resolved refreshingly without dragging on.

Remakes are always tough to evaluate since people are naturally going to compare the original to the adaptation, but imo they should be viewed as its own standalone project. Originals are always going to be seen as "the best" because fans have fallen in love with it, and never give the adaptations a chance. This show hasn't even aired yet, and people are saying this actor/actress doesn't fit the vibe and all that, and never even give them a chance. If you're going in the new drama with your confirmation bias, then you'll only find things wrong to pick at. And there's no point in filming an adaptation if they're only going to copy and paste stories and actors/actresses and find the Korean version of characters who fit the vibe. Drama is not out yet, but they've casted really talented actors and actresses. The dads are of course long-time veterans with important roles in the show, but Jung Chaeyeon since Reunited Worlds in 2017, to King's Affection and Golden Spoon recently. People see her as just a "pretty face" but the released stills are already showing promising vibes.

16 episodes is pretty standard in Kdramas and it will most likely be ~70 mins compared to 40 in the original. Also cuts out unnecessary dragging plots.

Some fans saw them hanging out at an amusement park without any cameras.. Do you realise how crazy you gotta be to hang out with your co-workers on your days off 😭😭

There's not much news and even the release date is not confirmed yet. I'm guessing more casting news about the side characters will be released as we get closer to release date and during/after the Paris Olympics.

Lee Jong Won literally acted with THE Lee Honey on his previous project lol. I don't think he's a "top" actor by any means, but he's no C list actor. Knight Flower reached 18% viewership and was popular domestically.

Pretty sure fans already figured out Kim Hye-eun (25/21, Itaewon Class etc.) is playing In-youp's mum.. Fits like a glove if you ask me lol

Love to see legit good "underdog" dramas on a fairly new ENA channel get more attention. Proof that you don't always need superstar big name actors/actresses for a drama to do well. Good acting and storylines can produce good results too

Chaeyeon is a legit sunshine and this is giving sunshine and sunshine protector vibes.. Love the first still they've released, and such a perfect choice of a group photo rather than individual posters like most dramas do
