what a good first ep! THE PRODUCTION QUALITY!! I mean that intro alone with the two of them just walking! Wow.
Future of KBLs really lookin bright! I hope more bigger production companies will follow Watcha.
But yeah, sad about Seoham enlisting on the day of the finale. It’s waaay too early to even discuss this, but if this does get a season 2, he won’t be discharged until end of 2023, I think? :( That’s why he said in an interview that he hopes they won’t change leads if we do ever get a S2. Aww.
Ok, there’s a few great things here and I’ve grown to really like some of the characters, but…
I’m on ep 9 and I really would’ve dropped this if there weren’t 3 eps left. SO MANY frustrating turns! The amount of annoying, frustrating, hair-pulling decisions and actions of some characters all for the sake to move and extend the plot is just astonishing.
The idiot kid that locked them on the roof, the general leaving them behind just because ONE girl was asymptomatic (couldn’t they have gagged or tied them?? what’s stopping them then from just shooting up everyone else inside the friggin camp already? SO DUMB)… turning off the entire city’s internet and phone lines (like hello?? I get it they didn’t want the “fake news” and other information to spread further, but they really didn’t think about the possible survivors still in there who would need to communicate not even with the outside world but with each other??). And the soldiers shooting DIRECTLY at On Jo’s father and they only graze him… really? Pretty bad writing, honestly, and removes your suspension of disbelief.
Also, I’m not really sure if they’re trying to send a message here about bullying or not… but if they are, it’s pretty messed up coz the victims turned to either horrible or unlikeable characters themselves, so the message really gets lost there. Yes, their actions are explainable but not excusable.
*sigh* I hope there’s something worthwhile in the last 3 eps.
Really loved this. I didn’t think it was *that* slow like a lot of people are saying. I mean, personally, I was glued to my screen every week while watching the eps, compared to other dramas where I easily get easily distracted by other things while watching lol.
THAT VERY LAST SCENE, OH MY! Did not expect it all lol.. the ‘I love you’ bit was very cute too.
And LOVE the end of proof symbol at the very end (the little square that was drawn on the bottom corner of their picture together). That was a very nice touch.
OMG STILL CANNOT BELIEVE… FATHOM… THAT *THAT* HAPPENED…. the lead up to the kiss was just so SO good, all their emotions…
And I love that the *way* they kissed just made so much sense… like all that yearning, the longing, the relief… all the bottled up feelings and emotions being released into one perfect moment.
The acting of the two leads is just *chef’s kiss* brilliant! You can see all sorts of emotions even in just their eyes, especially Nanon.
And I love, LOVE that sexuality isn’t an issue anymore in many BLs nowadays. Like I love how Pran’s friends were just so chill whether the “mystery person” was a guy or a girl.
This was soooo WORTH THE WAIT!! I was always slightly doubtful about their chemistry, but damn THOSE END CREDITS! proved me SO wrong lol. just... wow. I can't wait for the rest of the eps.
I mean there's a few things here and there that I could nitpick... but meh, it's common Thai BL tropes and storytelling so I don't really mind. I hope this continues to be good. FINALLY, a BL to look forward to again every week. <3
So this is the third time i've seen ms gamri's actress in a kdrama, and in all three, she friggin died... tf? haha
But yeah, idk... i feel like ep 15 just sucked all the charm of this show... i know, they've been hinting that all this melodrama was bound to happen, but... i dunno, all of it just felt a bit frustrating and quite contrived to me.
And wayyyy to much coincidence, just like a lot have said already. I feel like the show thinks it's doing something special by doing these coincidental meetings and relationships, but ultimately it just feels unnecessary and a bit forced (like did sunghyun really have to be related to jungu??? come on...).
I really loved this show coz it brought so much cheer and joy every weekend... I guess im glad all these happened in the final eps lol. oh well, i hope it wraps up nicely.
I enjoyed it but never really got invested in the relationship between the two main characters. And as the final…
omg yes! finally someone else said it lol. Yuhwan def reminds me of New! I told this to my friend before this show started and he thought I was crazy lol.
I love, LOVE that one shot where the camera was to the back of Eungyu on top of Haewon, and we can see their faces in the mirror??? That was so good.
And the fact that they were both teary-eyed when they saw each other again after the timeskip? >/////<
Really loved this, but yeah, waaaayyy too short. This had the potential to be brilliant had it been 20-25 mins long per ep. I really hope Idol Romance gets the hint that this format just does not work anymore lol... but honestly this was their best work yet among the 3 BLs they've done.
Really enjoying this! It's super cute but as many have said, waaaay too short. I really hope Idol Romance stops it with these 10 min "episode" series...
But I especially loved that one scene from ep 3 where Haewon was asking if he could call Eungyu "hyung" and they were both so smiley at each other... I can't! They're soo cute!! >///<
And do I even need to talk about the bed scene, especially when they woke up? T^T (But man, they must have great morning breath lmao)
Really wish this was at least 20 mins per ep. Or even 15!
SEASON TWO CONFIRMED!!! I can't believe it!! Filming next month already... 😭
Article below says both S1 leads have received the script and Woohyeon is "positively reviewing it" (positively considering it??) and Kangmin is "practicing" already? Just used Google Translate so not sure if it's accurate lol.
In ep 1, in the flashback where Yumi is dating the guy when they were talking about Love cell, are they using…
I didn't mean the actual guy/actor. I know it's not Jinyoung who played the guy. I meant the *voice* they used for the guy. I replayed the scene and it was definitely Jinyoung's voice lol.
In ep 1, in the flashback where Yumi is dating the guy when they were talking about Love cell, are they using Jinyoung's voice for the guy?? It really sounds like him lol. I know it's not his character and he probably won't show up until later on, but yeah, the voice really sounded like Jinyoung's.
As excited as I am by the live later today, I'm as equally devastated knowing that it'll possibly be the last time we'll get new Light on Me content. 😔
I'd give anything to experience watching this show all over again... all the discussions, the theories, the agonizing wait from Thursday to next Tuesday for new eps lol. And most of all, I miss Noh Shinwoo the most... T^T
Cannot stop laughing at a comment I saw on Twitter. It was something along the lines of: "This drama keeps on messing with us. It's supposed to be a rom com, not a psychological thriller." LMAO.
But seriously. That forehead kiss *almost* physically hurt lol. This sudden twist at the PENULTIMATE episode is really frustrating. I'd have been fine with it if all this was 2-3 episodes ago, but now I fear it'll be a mad rush to tie everything together in ep 16...
I mean don't get me wrong, I love Daon's story and his road to self-discovery, but like.... they didn't give us that awesome confession/text twist, that cute af date, the whole tsundere act, and revealing Shinwoo's been pining for Taekyung all this time... if it's not Shinwoo in the end right? RIGHT??! Was it all for nothing?? T^T
Although! There was one saving grace in this ep, and it was of course Shinwoo with the flower in his ear 😍😍 omg he looked so friggin CUTE. And I love that he was kinda shy about it at first, but eventually smiled as soon as Taekyung found him. Again, props to Kang Yooseok’s great acting.
In any case, whatever happens on Thursday, I'm really going to miss this show! I'm really praying for an S2 (especially since KoKTV has had multiple shows with a second season), but something's telling me that's unlikely. Anyway, Tuesdays and Thursdays will really feel weird for a while with no LoM to look forward to. 🥺
The previews make me want to slam my head against the wall...seriously...In the preview of ep 15, Daon was sleeping…
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=axRBF-FRArw <- in this trailer, Taekyung is the one wearing it. But someone said below that maybe Namgoong lent him the sweater?? Idk anymore haha... yeah, they've been really trying to trick us with these previews for the past few eps lol.
Wow that ep felt so short... weird.. anyway, a few thoughts:
(1) WHY OH WHY is there no continuation from the end of ep 13?? Like, we got such a wonderful confession sequence and then it's like nothing happened? Also, what happened with Daon calling Taekyung? Slightly annoyed about all that.
(2) I know everyone's speculating what Taekyung is looking for in the next ep, either the shoes or the keychain. But one thing I did notice is that, if you look closely at one of the shots in the preview, it looks like Daon is holding a black box?? Is it the shoe box? Did he find it? Or did he do something to it? Idk... and I can't wait to find out.
(3) LMAO at how Namgoong named Taekyung on his phone—"Slightly less handsome Taekyung" 😂 but I put it through Google translate and it's even funnier coz it said: "Taekyung who is a little uglier than me" LOL
(4) CUTEST DATE EVER. But more importantly, Taekyung is finally (subconsciously?) falling for Shinwoo.. waiting for Shinwoo's reply, that "heart flutter" line, saying it's fun to tease Shinwoo. 😍
(5) Yoo-seok is seriously a great actor. His eyes are so expressive, and his facials expressions and the little details he puts to portray Shinwoo are just so spot on, like how looked like he was about to cry when Shinwoo and Taekyung were discussing Daon, or biting his lips and looking so shy when he asked if he could continue to be Taekyung's manager. Such tiny but compelling details.
Finally, I really don't care what happens at the end at this point lol... as long as we get there properly. Everything has been well paced and told so beautifully, the worst thing that could happen is a rushed, unsatisfying ending (unless they give us a season 2? maybe? is it too early to ask? lol).
Anyway, the agonizing wait for next Tuesday begins again. T_T
How did we go from the dildo scene to that beautiful confession sequence??!! 🤣
No but seriously, it was just so beautifully done. The flashbacks revealing Shinwoo's texts, Taekyung's inner dialogue, finally realizing everything. And of course, THAT LINE!!
I can't believe we only have 3 eps left. I'm not ready to say goodbye just yet. T^T
Tho, I'm still irked by one of the unreleased scenes from the trailer where Taekyung tries to reach a sleeping Daon... what's going on there?? I just hope everything gets wrapped up beautifully. And honestly, after this ep, I'm sure it will.

AND WE’RE STILL JUST ON EPISODE 5?!
And I love, LOVE that sexuality isn’t an issue anymore in many BLs nowadays. Like I love how Pran’s friends were just so chill whether the “mystery person” was a guy or a girl.
