A Clichéd but Watchable Rom-Com for Sung Hoon Fans
I watched My Secret Romance mainly for Sung Hoon, as it was my first drama of his. While it had some romantic moments, the storyline felt quite average and predictable. The classic trope of a one-night stand leading to an unexpected workplace romance is at the core of the plot, but it lacks the spark needed to make it truly engaging. The female lead is often seen cooking for the male lead, which becomes repetitive, and the drama occasionally drags. While it isn’t the most exciting or fresh rom-com, if you’re a Sung Hoon fan, you might still enjoy it for his presence. Otherwise, it’s a passable watch without much depth.
