A Dragged-Out Mystery with No Spark
Café Minamdang fails to deliver on both thrill and romance, making it a boring watch. Despite Seo In Guk’s solid acting and screen presence, the storyline drags with no real chemistry between the leads. The murder investigations and criminal profiling are there, but neither element truly takes the spotlight.
Character development is lacking, and the relationship between the leads feels forced, with no meaningful moments that make us believe they’re interested in each other. The action is forgettable, and the comedy leans more toward cringe than entertainment. I ended up speeding through most of the 18 episodes just to get it over with. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you have time to waste!
