A Chaotic Drama of Messy Relationships and Unsure Feelings

"Where do I start?" sums up the experience of watching Boy for Rent perfectly. This Thai drama is packed with love triangles, misunderstandings, and over-the-top "guy saves girl" moments. The premise itself is quite unusual—an organization that lets you rent a boyfriend? Intriguing, but also a bit bizarre.

The female lead, Smile, is inexperienced in relationships and hires Badz, who happens to be the boyfriend of another lead, Liz. Smile’s goal? To learn how to attract Kyro, who doesn’t reciprocate her feelings. Meanwhile, as Smile trains in the art of seduction, Badz and Liz drift apart, leading to Liz finding love with Kyro instead. Amidst all this emotional chaos, Badz finds himself falling for Smile, setting up a tangled mess of shifting relationships.

With plenty of drama, shirtless scenes, and dramatic rescues, Boy for Rent is entertaining but also frustrating in parts. The characters’ constant confusion over their feelings adds to the drama, making it a wild ride from start to finish. While it may not be groundbreaking, it’s an okay watch if you enjoy dramatic love triangles and a lot of romantic tension.
