I really don't think the ending is rushed, because if he wants to sacrifice himself, he can do it on episode 40 and If they have to rush the story they don't provide us the scenes of him and his child talking in episode 48 ...

after completing today episodes , i somehow having a feel of Snow eagle lord because every time demon escaped , many upright cultivators are already on evil side and both ML have extraordinary powers ...
the only thing i want is Main leads has major screentime not like of SEL
and yes CGI of this drama is far better than SEL ...

can someone clarify these 3 characters ...xuan xiao , xuan ying , and yun xiao ...
because someone by seeing xuan ying calls him as xuan xiao and also someone mentioned xuan xiao as the man staying in forbidden area which means yun xiao ...
or are they same person ...and if yes how can su yao is manipulating him ...

after watching 6 episodes i dont understand these things and my head is having an headache ...
