I just finished rewatching this for idk maybe the 6th time? One of the best BL dramas I’ve ever seen even to this day. The acting, the character development, the cinematography, and the story line are incredible. I don’t know how this only has a 8.0 but it’s a 10/10 in my book.

Alright, you may have convinced me to give it another chance. I think I need to let go of what I thought the characters were going to be like when I read the synopsis. Glad to hear the script stuck to th original concept. I’ll give it a few more episodes to see if it changes my mind.

I feel dissapointed after watching this. After China releasing Revenged Love, To My Shore, and Desire— I had high expectations but this does not match up at all. The characters feel like characters; not real people. It’s too unserious and borderline soap opera territory. I also agree with everyone about the dubbing. It’s so wildly off that it is distracting.

ughhh this is so refreshing and what I needed with all the current BL out there. KBL, when done right, is incredible. This show has me completely hooked and I’m sad that I have to wait another week for more.

mmm I can see that. It is a large cast for sure and I know they had to make it bigger in order to add new people to make it more interesting and give the previous first shoot cast options. I just really hope it doesn’t happen again in the next seasons. I don’t want it to turn into a popularity contest.

Personally, I understood why they had to reshoot and I didn’t really have a problem with it at all. However, I found the elimination portion truly dissapointing/gimicky and truly disrupted the wholesome aspect of His Man. Yes, I was pretty upset about who was eliminated because I was hoping for a reconciliation and I don’t know if I’ll be able to continue this season. Again, no hate or disrespect for production having to reshoot because I understand why they had to but I hope for next season they return to the theme of this show, which is helping them find love and establishing friendships. we as viewers don’t need a bunch of twist and turns. That’s not why I got into His Man. I keep returning to watch to see all the bonds formed. I hope that this isn’t the last season. I would be very sad.

you’re probably right about the budget. crossing my fingers KBL becomes more popular, because when it’s done well, it’s PEAK!

I’m so confused by all the short KBLs. I understand years ago but don’t know why they are still a thing?

legit was thinking the same thing. I think reoccurring pairs should be a thing in all BL. it’s so exciting!
