I thought Na Young and her horrible mother should have been punished more. It felt like Na Young got a slap on the wrist and, who knows, maybe she'll team up with Jin Tae later on for some nefarious purpose. Why he took all of her crap and threats is beyond me since he confessed it all without giving her away in the end! I am not a particularly vengeful person, but I wouldn't have minded at all if she had died in childbirth or succeeded in jumping off of that rooftop! And her big mouth, greedy, pushy mother should have received divorce papers if there was any justice. I got tired of Su Ji acting like a doormat--even getting seaweed soup to her in the final epi. I also hoped Ya Na's stalking board of Hyun Sung and his mother would have been discovered.
He's either so depressed or so over-the-top, as gorgeous as he is, I'm finding it really difficult to like him. Feeling quite iffy about this drama so far...but it's not far along at all yet.
There's a killer subplot here? Where? I've just finished watching episode 6, there's no killer subplot so far.…
I wrote a reply...but it must have gotten lost in cyberspace. Anyway, I went back and was unable to find the scene that made me want to quit. I deleted my original comment and continued on.
Oh oh--I see writernim is the same as the one who wrote Amor Fati. I watched but thought that drama was dreadful! :-O I'll start this one tonight and hope...
why the hell she is not discussing with tae ho while making such a big decision , like seriously he is husband…
IMO, these siblings are acting like asses. Why would they even give a damn about the aboeji who abandoned them and their eomeonie for another women? It's kind of insane! I'm leaning toward Tae Ho just breaking up with her and giving up on marriage. She'll never put him first over her crazy, needy family...
They seemed to suddenly show the gay storylines--but now that I'm writing to you, I realize this was included because I think one was a brother of the Jung family? It seemed like the Jung siblings (main characters) now found out their court minister father is evil? I'm not sure what's going on with the 3 sisters getting married anymore. I may have conked out and plan of rewatching the last two epis to see if I missed some things. On the other hand, I also think I conked out because I no longer was following or cared about what was going on within the plot.
I didn't think what Shin Hye Sun's character said was abusive--it was realistic! She was kind, IMO, considering what Bang Eun Joo [3moon Studio’s assistant] did to her--including what I believe is her faked suicide attempt/misery show in order to get publicity and attack her mentor.
Maybe it's just me, but I can't seem to follow the thread of this drama anymore. I usually don't like saeguks much since they're always about ousting someone royal thanks to evil ministers or monster relatives, but I was liking this one...till I got lost. Am I the only one who can't follow much of the plot?
I don't think Ha Rim cherishes what a wonderful, caring, giving person she has found in Ricky. I think he can do better, but he'll have to face heartbreak before realizing he's wonderful/ she isn't!
I just started watching the finale and find, as usual, Yeon Doo made a unilateral decision and proclamation without even discussing it with her husband. I know it's supposed to be heartwarming that they'll be relocating to the family annex again, but I feel like she still hasn't learned her lesson in learning not to decide what's best for Tae Kyung, herself, and their child all by herself. I find it quite unacceptable and inappropriate. :-(
