Ep 5&6 were so good! I really really love the way they explore the situation from different perspectives and angles. It's thoughtful and so touching I teared up more than once. I hope the show keeps being this good till the very end tho I'm not exactly ready to let go of it yet >.<

if he's reborn as a woman... is this bl? :/
That's what you might think at first but things are not as simple as they seem and that's what makes the beauty of this drama

The drama isn't without flaws and there was a clear imbalance in terms of fleshing out characters (Si-won felt so real while DW had no dimensions) but it was still a very nice watch, I like the way it was shot, it felt like an indie movie.

It's 2 episodes per week actually but yeah I understand how the wait can be hard
Yes but you have to wait until sunday for the subs to be released on bilibili which is the only platform providing them currently. I hope you enjoy it ^_^

The end of ep2 answered a question that occured to me so it's nice to see they didn't gloss over it. Also, I didn't think they'd go there with Rin's character but they did! Things keep getting more interesting and I'm looking forward to more

I highly enjoyed the first episode. The characters are interesting and the god and his little dog side kick are funny. There's a nice balance between light moments and more serious ones so it's not too silly. Also the town and its sceneray are so pretty, my eyes are pleased.

Title The King of Pigs Spoiler
Episode 2 spoiler. That's what I thought initially, but then in one of his messages he said something like "we…
I saw ep2 and it's becoming clear Kyung-min can't move on from something related to Jong-suk. It could be a promise they made, it could be some other event only they know about that caused them to go their separate ways after that year. Kyung-min's message feels both a reminder and a threat, like he can't forgive Jong-suk for something and is now haunting him. Idk it all seems dark and twitsed and I can't wait to find out what transpired between them.

so in the original work there is a big twist at the end . Some is as you said but there is a lot more going on.…
I suspect there's a reason why he's so fixated on Jong-suk, other than him being his best friend back then and I can't wait to find out. Thank you for this comment, I'm now even more curious!

Title The King of Pigs Spoiler
Do you think Kyung-min is ultimately coming for Jong-suk because as they say nothing hurts more than the betrayal of those who are closest to you? Jong-suk turning a blind eye and letting the bullying continue to happen might have angered Kyung-min even more. I'm so stressed but also sad, this show is quite hard to watch :(

Title The King of Pigs Spoiler
That's the mistery. I personally think he was already planning the murders (this is why he had already went to…
I think the pig masked kid is Kyung-min's other personality. He developped it out of anger and resentment. The kid appears (in his head, he's not real) when Kyung-min is no longer in control of his feelings and is about to "explode" and do something violent and bad.

I'm surprised people liked the anime better, it was such a weird experience and some parts were just so random (the cult arc!!). In comparison, the drama, while still very idealised and dramatic, feels a lot more realistic and moving. I like how it looks at the bigger picture and how surviving such a disaster starts with saving individuals but goes way beyond that (how do you preserve a culture, an identity, a community? What makes a home or a country? What's the price to pay to save a nation, etc.). I agree that maybe we needed another pov from the normal people's perspective but I still highly appreciate the angle this drama chose to approach the subject. It's by no means perfect but every episode had me either stressed or in tears or in deep thought so I can say it relayed its message successfully.

They mentioned. At first has been told it'll have two seasons with 6-6 episodes, but it ended up having only one…
Oh I see. Sometimes they cut a drama in two and call it a "season" or "part" (like Tracer and Through The Darkness) but it's really just the usual format. Anyway, yes King of Pigs is only 12 episodes, no other season.

does this have multiple seasons?
I don't think so, they haven't mentioned other seasons as far as I know.

But MDL countdown says the 1st episode already aired now. Is it wrong then? I based my reasoning on it and now I don't understand anymore lol
