i just finished episode 5 and i need someone to reassure me it will all make sense by the end, because i'm invested so far and very intrigued by the way things are unfolding but nothing pisses me off in this type of stories/show more than a buildup that leads to nothing or some bs that insults our intelligence

i think that despite everything pi-o isn't envious and doesn't have an inferiority complex per se. i forgot the episode but there was a scene with his mother where he fought her and genuinely didn't care about coming 2nd or whatever. what pi-o really wants is finding joy again in his playing and having one (1) sincere person to help him with that. while he probably wants the kind of praise jeong-yo gets for himself too, he doesn't wish ill on jeong-yo. his anger is targeted at adults who are supposed to care for him but don'tanyway i'm rambling

the acting is good imo, that's not an issue in this show

and i like the school director and the piano teacher, so far the only normal adults around

while the girlies are fighting over the nature of the boys bond, i'm here terrified of what's implied in the opening of both episodes as well as the flashback of whatever happened to jeong-yo's mother. it feels like there is something sinister within pi-o (who can't be blamed considering how he's treated by his mother and grandfather) and i'm scared to find out 😭

i'm suspecting that too, we'll see what they do with it. i'm also now scared of the possibility pi-o might have something to do with whatever haappened with jeong-yo's mother, that would be unforgivable 😭

is there a chance they might be brothers? 🤔
also the events so far are in 2016-2017, will we have a time skip?

it's off to a very good start, i really enjoyed this 1st episode and while i'm bummed they didn't release all of the episodes at once i think living week to week with these characters i already care a lot about will leave a deeper and longer lasting feeling in me as a viewer so i won't mind the wait

jing boran is good, the character is in safe hands with him

i've always been quite neutral about taec as an actor but i'm feeling so proud of him here, definitely his most meaningful character and he did so so well
idc what everyone says, this drama has its flaws yes but it's also beautiful and touching

i agree. more than words is unique and will remain as one of my absolute favourite shows ever

idk this was a light and easy to watch feel good drama so i'm not gonna complain. the sakaken and sjk cameo at the end was so random tho and they set it up as if the two were gonna have a love story of their own i had to laugh lmao
