No, I'm not saying he will be on Lucia's side now. I have no clue what he will do. I just thought it was strange that showed emotion, since he's normally so callous.

It looks like a stalemate between the two of them. Lucia can't prove they were a couple (as far as we know) and Seon Jae can't prove Lucia is Seol Hui outside of the missing person poster. (Which would normally be game over for Lucia since it looks exactly like her...but we're in a kdrama so...)

But you're right, we have to wait and see what he does.

It was enjoyable for a couple of seconds to see Lucia have the upper hand over Seon Jae, but he'll recover quickly since Gyeong Chae will be on the scene soon.

I wonder what he was/is planning to do...just tell Gyeong Chae that Lucia is really Seol Hui?
He really doesn't have any proof, right?(except for the missing poster)

It's really interesting to think we are not even halfway through this drama, but it already feels like things are coming to a head, like it would at a later point.

I can't really see us still watching scenes with Seon Jae and Lucia fighting, or Seon Jae scheming to get rid of Lucia and Tae Gyeong for another 20, 30 or more episodes. So will this particular conflict be resolved soon and we move on to another story arc?

Me either...I'm unsure why he's showing emotion now (as others have already stated) about the possibility that Miso was his daughter.

So who knows what he will do going forward. Lucia has played her best hand with him now, she has nothing left to bluff or bargain with...as you stated, she has no proof they were ever a couple.

Maybe I read too much into it...

Yeon Ah does know that the Min family was responsible for Miso's death. So she also knows that Se Ri is a part of that family. I thought she had to know and that is why she's been delivering food and being all friendly...she's got a revenge plan too.

Wow...hadn't thought about that. Gutsy move if she were to do something like that, but I don't think he would go for it. Keeping quiet would also put his own plans in jeopardy. He might go along with it initially, but would be planning something to gain back the upper hand.

It really is funny. To the point of being a satire! I fully expect to see Seon Jae rub his hands together and say Bwahhaha in the privacy of his office.

But even with all the nonsense, I still hate Seon Jae with a passion. I'm so looking forward to him getting what he deserves.

Editing to say: Stella and Lucia really need to come up with a plan to muzzle Seon Jae, since Lucia's going to be almost putty in his hands, doing anything he asks.
