Iâm rooting for them too. Their chemistry is great, and both of them have conflicts that actually make their characters interesting. But honestly, I donât think the writer will go in that direction. She has a history of bland leads, and if you notice, she already started adding characters who say heâs overreacting... When in reality the guy literally saw HN begging JW to divorce and be with him, and even heard from HN himself that he was interested in her. Way too forced.
Is JW greedy as many suggest? Is she really benefiting/enjoying being the DIL of a rich family? I really donât…
Before discovering the truth about HR, JW felt completely in control. After that, she became consumed by revenge and the fear of being exposed. In todayâs episode, she manipulated TS, using the feelings of both SH and HR (the latter she supposedly doesnât even care about), told YC that she would return as the Geonhyang familyâs daughter-in-law, and promised to carry out her revenge. If she werenât so ambitious, she would have accepted HNâs proposal and found another way to get back at HR.
Todayâs episode was seriously good! JW proved she can go head-to-head with her enemies without flinching. I loved the way she confronted TS, NS, YC and HR, she was fierce. Sheâs so self-assured, especially in her dynamic with SH, who keeps solidifying himself as one of the most compelling characters. Itâs wild how blindly he trusts JW and tries to protect her, even though her supposed âbrotherâ is openly obsessed with her, to the point of making bold declarations in front of everyone. And the bath scene? A total bonus. lol
HN, meanwhile, is becoming more and more exhausting. He just canât stop forcing physical contact with JW. And honestly, they have zero chemistry. The hug was already bad, but the kiss⊠yikes. And then thereâs YC trying to seduce SH, only for it to fall completely flat. Iâm pretty sure sheâs going to get obsessed with him out of pure spite.
Seeing HN complain about her trying to seduce SH is honestly hilarious, considering heâs been doing the exact same thing to JW. The irony is real. lol
KB, on the other hand, turned out to be much less naĂŻve than I expected. His conversation with JW brought a refreshing shift to the plot, and that final reveal was absolutely epic. Iâm already hyped for the next episode.
Am I the only one who just canât warm up to CJW (the FL)? đ§ Hear me outâŠ.I donât dislike her for no reason,…
I wouldnât say Iâm fully rooting for her, but I do understand where sheâs coming from. Sheâs greedy, jealous, and constantly feels wronged by life. Even though she talks about getting revenge on her mother, itâs pretty clear that what she really wants is to be loved and acknowledged. Her fatherâs love just isnât enough to help her overcome the trauma of being abandoned.
At first I was not sure so gave it some time. Fl's acting is so soSfl is doing good.
Compared to JaeIn from Queenâs House, this actress feels noticeably weaker. Still, playing a character like JW isnât exactly easy. Sheâs written to be morally gray: she resents her fatherâs situation, holds a deep grudge against the mother who abandoned her, and keeps a rivalry with YC thatâs basically fueled by jealousy. On top of that, sheâs obsessed with living a luxurious life, even if it means manipulating people and stepping on their feelings. Since daily-drama Fls are usually either kind-hearted or long-suffering, taking on a character like JW is definitely a tough challenge.
Glad I'm not the only one who dislikes Ha-Neul lol
DoYun was a great character, not only incredibly handsome but also genuinely complex. For a long time, he wavered between loving and hating JaeIn, projecting onto her everything JaYoung had done. Even so, he helped her far more than he ever hindered her. HN doesnât have that. He feels empty.
Glad I'm not the only one who dislikes Ha-Neul lol
DoYun knew that JaeIn would only feel whole by his side once she carried out her revenge against GiChan. HN doesnât have that awareness because heâs completely consumed by his own lust. He almost exposed her to SH... and for what? A chance to win her affection, even though sheâs clearly focused on revenge.
Glad I'm not the only one who dislikes Ha-Neul lol
I feel like they tried to copy DoYunâs plot from Queenâs House (someone who seeks revenge but also supports the FL unconditionally). It didnât work, though, because DoYun didnât agree with everything, but he also didnât interfere with Jiâs plans (unless it was to help). HN is just annoying. Heâs so purposeless that he wants power only to help JW. Thatâs it. He has no motivation of his own.
I honestly wouldnât be surprised, because YC already planted the seed of doubt in his mind, and Haneul pathetically…
Plot-wise, it would be way more interesting to focus on JW and SH. HN and JW have zero conflict, she just needs to accept him, and thatâs it. The storyâs basically over.
Glad I'm not the only one who dislikes Ha-Neul lol
It seems like HNâs only plot is chasing after JW, while SH is stuck in a fake marriage, dealing with work, family conflicts, and falling prey to the villainess YCâs "seduction", among other things.
I honestly wouldnât be surprised, because YC already planted the seed of doubt in his mind, and Haneul pathetically…
True. đ The actor has played plenty of cheating husbands before. But this drama is so unpredictable, he could end up being just like his father, completely obsessed with his wife.
I honestly wouldnât be surprised, because YC already planted the seed of doubt in his mind, and Haneul pathetically…
This drama has completely turned into a mess. In the scene where Haneul confesses to JW in front of the Geonhyang house, it honestly looked like the Joo siblings were trying to break up the main couple (JW-SH) instead of supporting the âcorrectâ pairings (HN-JW, SH-YC). Seriously, so weird!
Glad I'm not the only one who dislikes Ha-Neul lol
I really tried to like him, but his complete lack of respect for JW and SHâs âmarriageâ wiped out whatever empathy I still had. In any other drama, heâd be that annoying second lead who keeps chasing the female lead. I laughed so hard when SH asked if he still hasnât gotten over his childhood crush, like, sir, youâre thirty. lol
I was waiting wn he ll cheat wn he ll cheat...no way fr him to be so loyal đ.. here u go he is abt to slp with…
I honestly wouldnât be surprised, because YC already planted the seed of doubt in his mind, and Haneul pathetically admitting he sees his supposed sister as a woman right in front of him just makes everything even messier. The wildest part is that if he ends up âcheating,â it would technically be with his own wife, since heâs âmarriedâ to JYC and not CJW. And on top of that, Haneul is also going to hug JW. There really are no saints in this story, lol.
