His behavior in front of her husband is just pathetic, especially after agreeing to play the ‘brother’ role. It feels like the writer tried to recreate the DoYun–JaeIn dynamic from Queen’s House, but didn’t manage to pull it off.

I actually feel bad for SeHun. He has no idea he’s surrounded by snakes, including Haneul, who pretends to be a saint but is just as bad as the rest of the family, only chasing power to help that scheming FL. And honestly, except for the father, SeHun and SeMi aren’t to blame at all for her being abandoned.

Somin and Wooshik are great, but the plot feels so weak and honestly not engaging at all, it doesn’t really make me excited for the next episodes. Hopefully things pick up as the story goes on.

And that’s exactly why he had the upper hand. She never really got over him, to the point of even sending a love letter to the radio about him. Like I mentioned in my post, he’s not my favorite, but hey, he’s her choice, so I’ll just live with it.

Since YR’s happiness mattered most to me and she’s always liked Jaepil, I just had to let it be. The only one I genuinely rooted for was SangCheol (at least he was upfront about his feelings). JeongHyeon did help YR a lot, but he even admitted he was just waiting for the “right moment” to confess and… well, seven years went by. All that time he stayed away only worked in JP’s favor, who already had the upper hand as her first love. Even YoungRye’s mom said it: you can’t force feelings. I saw a lot of people hoping for a happy ending for JH because that’s what happened in WLGYT, but let’s be real, JH barely got any screen time and YR never showed anything more than gratitude toward him. If she’d felt even a little torn, it’d make sense.

He’s such a great guy, honestly the perfect match for her: good-looking, hardworking, loyal, and super protective of the people he cares about. It’s a shame the writer went a different route.

People really need to stop projecting their own expectations onto the characters because that only leads to disappointment. Personally, I’d love for YoungRye to end up with Ma SangCheol (he’s honestly the best male character in the whole story) but she just doesn’t see him that way, so whatever. The writer clearly made consistency one of her core traits. Otherwise, she would’ve already forgotten JongHee and JungHyeon, since they were gone from her life for 7 years, not 7 days. Meanwhile, Jaepil was by her side the whole time, interacting with her, sharing life experiences, victories, failures, and all that. It’s easy to judge how deep their relationship really is because the writer completely skipped over their whole time skip, while she had all the time in the world to show JongHee’s over-the-top drama.

He looked more like a cupid trying to bring the couple together. He didn’t seem like a suitor fighting for his beloved’s heart at all. Especially since he knows YoungRye has feelings for Jaepil.

HuanHuan goes back to LinDong in the end. When they were filming, YangYang got sick so shoots got delayed, and ZhangTianAi was busy with another project. They used a stunt double for her, face not shown. There are some BTS pics on Weibo

Pretty sure those are just YoungRye’s dreams. I bet they threw in a couple of Jaepil + YoungRye scenes in the teasers just to mess with us. When the FL was talking about “fated love”, they showed Jaepil with his heart racing, but that was clearly cuz of JongHee. And that park scene where he’s all smiley like it’s a date with YoungRye? Total bait since a pic already came out of the actor next to ShinYeEun behind the scenes.

Provavelmente, eles investirão nesta desculpa clássica, a fim de que o romance seja bem aceito. Sigo achando que ficará forçado. Melhor deixar a YoungRye se envolver com alguém que realmente a aprecie por quem ela é.

Também fiquei decepcionada, mas a atitude dela, durante a conversa pós encontro com o JaePil, já deixou claro que ela não tá ligando muito para os sentimentos da YoungRye. Ela fala o tempo todo sobre si e, como a amiga parece um cristal de tão transparente, é quase impossível que ela não perceba. Só preferiu ignorar. Tem uma teoria de que ela vai "sumir" e que eles vão se envolver neste meio tempo... Não gostaria, sinceramente. A YR merece alguém que goste verdadeiramente dela e não que a veja como substituta.

Achei a JongHee bem invejosa na carta, como se estar com o sujeito fosse mais capricho do que afeto. YoungRye não merecia isso.

A cena das rodomoças comentando sobre o rompimento de uma amizade por causa de um rapaz me deixou apreensiva quanto à amizade delas e ainda tem aquela carta da JongHui para a YoungRye.

Even though I’m rooting for SangCheol, it’d be interesting if they got together too.

This episode was an emotional rollercoaster for poor YoungRye. No matter how hard she tries, her mom doesn’t appreciate her and only pays attention to her brother. And to make things worse, JaePil is in love with her best friend. I really liked her conversation with JeongHyeon at the hospital (too bad he’s just a cameo, or I’d totally ship them).

Meanwhile, JaePil seriously annoyed me. How rude was it to show up at the hospital and then start asking about JongHee? Come on, have some decency! If he cared that much, he should’ve gone to see her himself.

I really hope YoungRye moves on from him soon, he’s not worth her time. She should go for SangCheol instead; he’s a thousand times better.
