I really appreciate the performances of the young actors!
This film is slightly above average.
The premise has a lot of potential, but the execution doesn’t fully deliver. There are quite a few plot points that feel out of place. The characters’ psychology should be heavy and impactful, yet the script doesn’t go far enough, so it sometimes leaves me feeling underwhelmed. I didn’t even feel heartbroken—rather than pushing the moral conflict to a higher level, I kept thinking there wasn’t really a convincing reason they couldn’t end up together.
That said, since they’re both new actors, I think they tried very hard, and I genuinely appreciate how seriously they approached their work. I hope they continue to improve in their next series.
