Can we just take a moment to talk about that brick? I can't even with the way Tang Qing Ye uses it and I find myself involuntary flinching a lot when she does... it's both funny and painful to watch (sometimes unexpected)
There were a lot of aspects that I enjoyed in the movie that I felt were on par if not better than the drama --…
Yeah, I agree while I do not believe that the movie was better than the drama there were some aspects that I really liked. For one thing, the movie begins like the novel if I am remembering correctly and this movie unlike with the drama, focuses more on Su Su / Bai Qian and rather than on Ye Hua character.
Aso for A-Li's 'fat face' he is a CHILD they have rounded faces, people need to get over themselves...really. I also really enjoyed the CGI, although at first, I thought it was going to take away from the movie, it didn't and I really enjoyed it. I do agree that the editing could use also of help tho.
All and all I don't really see why people are mad at this movie, I think that it may just follow truer to the written material and the writer and director could have used some help but it was an enjoyable movie.
that synopsis makes Xiao Feng seem weak and pathetic that keeps bouncing from liking one boy to the other (like she can't mke up her mind).... I hate female characters that are written like that. I don't think that I will be watching this.
Because Chinese censorhip decided that time-travel dramas are distorting the Chinese cultural heritage and thus…
Yeah, this drama was on my watch list for the longest time too. But I just finished watching it. It was okay it could have been better but I think it deserves a better rating than what it has. For me, there were elements that just didn't need to be there and some that needed to be there but weren't. And there was even an instance where I found myself just saying why? why did the director/writer make it this way.

Yeah, I recently just started learning more about the crazy rules that drama/movies/etc. go through in China with that being said by completely taking away what happened in the original series can it really be called a sequel? Wouldn't this be more of a prequel or even a different series? I feel they just wanted the following that was attached to the original show and didn't really care.
