Haha right!! There's a lot of love for Tal Tal and it's definitely spreading around. ;)

It's quite alright if you're not going to be online much but I will miss our fangirly discussions. Haha.
I can't say about JMG but I do not mind giving Startling a try. I'll try and get past the baldies haha. :D
Hopefully I'll finish PLL by the next time we talk and we might even have a semi-decent ending to Empress Ki. We shall see about that.
It's always lovely talking to you! Take care. :)

Sure, you can give the first few episodes a try. If they interest you keep watching or you could watch something else. :)
BTW agreed about the ending of Beyond the Clouds. The time jump was random to me but at least no one died lol.
I'm so disappointed. (VERY BIG SPOILER AHEAD) Maha died without ever knowing who his parents were. Wang Yoo arrived…
Agreed. It was rather sad. :(

Arang is a wonderful drama. You should give it a chance if you're a hardcore romantic. It's got of plenty of moments to spoil you. It being a saguek makes it extra special. The cast is top-notch and so are the characters. Since you mentioned Master's Sun, I must say it was soooo good as well haha. :D
As for Ja Myung Go- my impression of it is too much catfight between sisters(?) and a guy with weak love who can't make up his mind. Maybe I'm wrong but that's what I read somewhere. I prefer guys like Ta Hwan whose love is strong that it's impossible to sway him. :D
Do tell me about Startling too. :)
BTW I see you've mentioned Queen of SOP in your profile. The lead pair is one of my favourites in it and the love triangle was also great!

Anyway getting back to EK- I am struggling to not drop it as well. I still think I'll soon forget the madness in the last 7-8 episodes pretty soon after the drama ends. This drama has given me enough memorable moments to last a long time!! I don't know what you feel about that but to me EK is somehow a very special drama. There's just something in it that not many have these days. :)
I actually never judge a drama by the end part. If it's good, I might give it a higher rating but that's about it. If the drama made me addicted to it or if the first half is very good then I consider it a good drama.
I agree with what you said about SKKS. The last few episodes minus the ending were boring. Still, it's one of my favourites only due to the amazing moments till halfway through. That's more than enough for me. :)

Omo thanks for the effort to type all that!!! I love discussing so I'm always open to it. I do believe we're somewhat like soul sisters. <3
Anyway, since you're saying PLL is worth watching for Yu Wen Yong, I'll just watch his scenes and skim through the rest. Such a shame considering all the hype surrounding the drama. I had some sky rocketing expectations with it since Ariel Lin is one of my utter favourites. Plus I don't even find Lan Ling attractive. :P But then again- I hardly ever agree with hype. It's rare for me to be on the same page as most drama viewers.
I really like the newer Taiwanese dramas. Have you watched any? Their romance is realistic with the slice of life touch to it and somehow the actors always have good chemistry with each other. :)

I also need your opinions on Ja Myung Go and Startling by Each Step. Maybe you can convince me to watch them. :D I am afraid of the baldies in Startling. Ja Myung Go was also sorta random in the first 5 min lol.

I am watching Prince Lan Ling side by side slowly and I feel like I am bored. The conflicts aren't too compelling to me so far at ep 10. I see that you like Yu Wen Yong. He's my favourite in the drama too!! He's suave, hot and everything that Lan Ling isn't. I am a sucker for romance but somehow the romance in this drama doesn't seem to be my type at all.
IDK. Maybe I was expecting something like Empress Ki with it. Rather it seems like fairytales for grown-ups. It's got that dreamy air to it. Should I continue the drama or should I drop it?
BTW the chemistry between Wen Yong and Ariel Lin is explosive!! I love them so much together. Lan Ling is so boring I daresay.

The best historical dramas I have seen till now are Sungkyunkwan Scandal and Arang and the Magistrate. They both focused on romance more than politics.
Anyway, I am kind of used to disliking the last few episodes of every Korean that I have seen (counting out exceptions). For me EK is still a win because it managed to be perfect till ep 42-43. Even a 16-episode drama becomes painful to watch after 10-11 episodes or even 8 in some cases lol.
Korean dramas always throw logic out the window and the only way to go along is to throw your brain out the window too. I have stopped caring about the characters and subplots in EK now. All I want to watch is the ending now- be it happy or tragic. I am trying to overlook the current disastrous subplots. I am capable of doing that- overlooking the bad and taking in the good given the bad doesn't become too overwhelming. Does it make sense? lol :D

I believe he's a good actor as well. I've seen him in Sungkyunkwan and he rocked in that. :D

You seem to be a fan of Yoo Ah In. I saw both Fashion King and Jung Ok Jung in your list. I am afraid to try both due to the bad endings. Fashion King is one of the most hated dramas ever lol.

Yeah plus I think it's a first where the main lead is married and having an affair. Kdramas never really go into the scandalous territory. I somehow had a feeling like it would be an unhappy ending when the drama was announced. Unless, of course if this drama is a truly daring one and she just divorces her husbands to go with the guy. Else the easiest way out for the leads to get together would be that her husband dies, they separate for a few years and end up together at the end. LOL so many possibilities.

I usually do not like dramas with age gaps unless the leads are such good actors that they can pull it off. I think the guy in Secret Love Affair is a pianist, right? So good music is kinda expected haha

LOL. I am watching Bride of the Century, Hotel King and Prince Lan Ling right now. :) How about you? I see Queen Seon Deok on your list. Are you watching it? I tried it but got terribly during the first 10 minutes or so and gave up hahaha. I think I should swear off historical dramas now thanks to Empress Ki. :P
