Omo!! So on with you on this one then! I can't ever watch another historical series again without feeling 'bored' lol. As crazy and frustrating a watch Empress Ki can be- I just think it's the best thing I've ever watched haha. No other drama has entertained me as much as this has. <3

How's Secret Love Affair? Isn't the age gap very off-putting? I'll probably wait till it ends to decide to watch it. Although the title 'Secret' means the affair will probably remain a secret till the end. Or do you see a hope for a happy ending there?

I am liking Hotel King so far too. I am yet to watch Ep 3.

I heard a lot of good things about Moon that Embraces the Sun. I watched like 2-3 ep of it and put it on-hold for some reason at that time and it's still lying on that list. Guess I will resume it soon. :D

Empress Ki made me want to watch some historical dramas too and couldn't find any better ones. Instead I started a Chinese historical one called Prince Lan Ling. People say it's great and so far I think it's okay. Let's see how it turns out to be. ^_^

After watching Empress Ki I am afraid I will never like a historical drama as much. It set the bar way too high for others according to me haha. What are your views on it? Have you ever watched one as good as this?

I really loved Empress Ki till about ep 40 or so but the last few have been a letdown. Things are off-the-wall crazy in the drama. It's makjang to the nth degree haha. :D

I went through your dramalist and noticed you don't seem to rate dramas that you watch. You seem to have rated a very few ones. May I ask why is it so?

Seriously, if Tal Tal's alive that will be more than enough for me.

I do think Wang Yoo is the better guy for Seung Nyang but I just can't let myself stop wishing for her to be with the Emperor just because of a few episodes no matter how bad they were. Her scenes with Ta Hwan were otherwise SO epic imo. It's conflicting again because her scenes with Wang Yoo were epic too. Haha. Very memorable love triangle. :D

Anyway, the love triangle is being dragged on and on. She definitely loves/loved Wang Yoo more. To me, she comes off as a bit passive with Ta Hwan at times or it could be that Ta Hwan has always been too crazy and overpowering. I also find Ha Ji Won's acting lacking in places. I'd blame the passivity on that but other than that she did a great job of her role. ^_^

@steph_ravita I have a feeling like the writers will keep pulling the crap till the end. Then she'll just become the Empress and everything will go back to normal as if none of this ever happened. LOL. The writers just need material to drag out the drama till ep 51. Plus more drama equals more viewership. The latest episode generated a lot of attention in Korea.

I honestly wish for an ending where Seung Nyang could just abandon everything and run away with Tal Tal. It would make things much easier. Plus they are actually suited for each other in so many ways. He's more of a man than Ta Hwan or Wang Yoo no matter how adorable they both are. If not, I want Ta Hwan or Wang Yoo to get her. I don't care who does if it's a happy ending that's all I care about. Though I will always secretly be sad because I just loved Ta Hwan so, so much till now. This drama breaks my heart so much and I love it haha. :D

I have read up a lot on it and everyone's views on the incident are different. I think most people said it was forced at first but consented eventually. Don't know if that makes sense lol. Anyway, this is supported by the fact that Seung Nyang was totally fine and showed no signs of having been a victim the next day.

Beyond the Clouds was a melodrama but it still had lesser drama than most melos :D

BOTC is boring and lost me before it reached its mid. I don't like a lot of things about it lol.

You make 3 Days sounds fine. Maybe I'll watch it after my current list gets exhausted. I do like Youchun too. He was so good in Missing You. (^_^)

Right now Ta Hwan is a big psycho and unstable (also hot :P). I can handle his obsession but his character is being too emo. I prefer my easy-going Emperor more. <3

Right now I would choose Tal Tal too! Especially in the last two episodes, it feels to me like he has some feelings for Seung Nyang. Their scenes excite me asdfghjkl :D :D

I feel bad for Wang Yoo too. He's so awesome and his life sucks so much. :(

I am kind of glad it would be over soon cos I had enough of tears, honestly. I am hoping for a happy ending or a total tragic one. How about you? :)
