ive seen this one 3 times and it gets me every time. A relationship that is not approved by parents doesnt come to fruition is a norm in China that would never fly in the US. My mother in law once told me you have to be nice to all of your in laws because then you will never get to see your children and grandchildren. While it may not be the nicest way to weaponize a relationship it would behoove Chinese women to put their foot down. That being said, the moment she was threatened into having an abortion she should have told him and then ended the relationship. No one is worth putting yourself through that much trauma. Yes, he loved her and she loved him but love isn't always enough. He didn't love her enough and she loved him too much. Her parents breaking down and having to leave to another continent just to save their daughter from him was one of the highlights of the show and a true testament to how much parents truly love their children and what a undeniable coward he was.

Title: I'm Done Waiting 不等你了 Review: Bring a case of tissue boxes. A Costco-size one if you've ever had a miscarriage. Yes, both leads died in the end but there wasnt any end for their suffering. I am a huge advocate that if you do not want children; don't have them. And I spent more years doing IVF than scholastic. The parents got the best revenge as did the sister. She didnt have the right to end her life. She literally cut out a piece of her sisters life. One measly thank you as she's being rolled into the OR doesn't cut it. I also don't trust that she had NOTHING to do with both of her sister's miscarriages. They were both traumatic and bloody. While i empathize with the ML, he deserved the suffering he went through. He tortured his wife and then was the cause of her miscarriages and abandoned her afterwards. He never explained and never even verbalized that he liked her. Her depression and downward spiral was all his own making. He could have been her salvation. Instead he was her destruction. (Good acting all around.)

My review: This entire drama was adorable and sickeningly sweet. Surprisingly, for a couple as adorable as this one, this show had *real* plot and an interesting story to follow. I am curious why the MLs dad never put his son into therapy. Although, had he put his deceased wife in therapy they wouldn't be having the current issue they are. The FL and the bil are so cute together. They went from fans/idol to partners in trouble-making. I liked that the step-mother never tried to replace his mother and treated him/her kindly. Honestly, both leads did really well in their individual characters storylines as well as their converging one. They had great chemistry (please don't pair them together in the next 10 dramas they make) and it was a pleasure to watch them.

Just looking at the cast lineup I got cautiously excited. Why you ask? Not that anyone is asking, but I will tell you. Whenever they spend all of their budget on actors it usually leaves little money for directors, screenwriters, and other essential but not generally viewed members of the team. Good news: they SLAYED. in a good way though. I know season 2 is coming out in October and I absolutely ABHOR cliffhangers but it's so good I'm glad they didn't do the storyline a disservice and try to squish it all into one season or worse try and tell all six stories in order of events. I forsee a lot of flashbacks in the next season as we get to meet the other husband's and learn more about the other three siblings marriages. It better not be released on the last day of October. I feel like I'm waiting forever already.
Just finished episode 10: ughhh they're pacing the script so oddly. It was like they planned it to be 20+ episodes and found out halfway they were only given 12 episodes so they just cut most of the plot. They have so much potential here and so many great side stories. (Phatsa's dad is a legend btw). There are only 2 episodes left and I am feeling that panic where there is so much left that needs to be resolved but not enough time to resolve it in.
