English Title: The General's Substitute Groom (most commonly used English title) Chinese Title: 娇夫在下 Male Lead: Zhang Hongming Female Lead: Cai Zhuoyin Director: Zhao Xixi (co-directed with Li Hanxuan) Year: 2026 Rating: 9
*Review* This was a great example of what good actors, directing, producing, and scriptwriters can do when all of them work together in tandem. The female general is groped by opposing male general. After the male-centered people lose the war, the ""general"" is sent as a consolation prize/prisoner spouse to the female general. There starts a race for the bed... i mean throne as the two join teams to free themselves from the bed... i mean nefarious political situations. Overall, great watch. Would definitely recommend to a friend. If I had friends that watched Cdramas. You can watch it on Iqiyi: https://www.iqiyi.com/v_lgxgt3829g.html?utm_source=chatgpt.com&vfrm=pcw_album_auto
