Yes agree about the longer but they ran out of source material and they kept strictly to the novel, very small changes to adjust for screen drama :) So we only have what we got.. but its STIll BRILLIANT!! :) Glad you liked it too...

I think it depends on how you judge his actions.... I think he is fine in the drama but their romance is steeped in politics so .. its never straightforward.. and they carry a bit of baggage from their past and their own characters so its slow. I would say try it out. But its not Shen Li est for sure!

Totally agree. I watched the story of rose too.. I mean LGX was good but .. sorry their CP (which was just one of many) cannot match that of his with Liying. This drama is just something special.... They need to do another one and one where they are CP again .. not any other weird combos!

Oh and forgot to add, you need to get past some dramatic sad moments before we get to the sweet arcs so definitely hang in there.... Episode 22 to 26 are tough on the couple but it will all work out later! :)

Oh yeah we were all obsessed with the OST. I changed my ringtone to XZ's power piece... hahahah madness (it was a fight between his or Shen li's one :P)

Having watched Shen Li, then moved to Joy of Life Season 2, to The Double and then the Princess Royal... and now back to rewatching Shen Li and its still soo good... their chemistry .. the way they look at each other!... (somehow I am only comforted by this drama! ahhaha... the others were good.. but I wont be rewatching them over and over again!) Sigh... LGX and Liying better do another drama soon....

Waht stupidity. Thats why when Liying was producer for Shen Li, fans were more assured.. Producers I wonder why they keep doing things fans do not want! ARGH!! Just give me my couple!!!

Eh they were always "together", they liked each other from the start but they were a couple from episode 30 onwards per se. The ending is a superbly happy one so watch on safely.
