I think some people feel the first arc is a bit "slow". It gets a bit more dramatic with fight scenes and CGI after episode 8. So I would say try it until then. However, many also enjoy it from the start so its ok. You can try it and if you dont like it its fine :) Maybe you enjoy some other dramas that are more dramatic from the start.

But they were never really the fall head over heels in love type.. its more of you are my ally and slowly I love you too.... they come with too much baggage and also their political status clouds things.. but if they follow the novel.. they will be there for each other.. I think however its more of the case that PWX really loves her more. He coaxes her all the time ... even after they have kids and yes they continue to argue... ALL the way ...

Its tough babe.. but politics is another kettle/forum altogether, one man's justification is another's war. No matter which side, if any side, even the neutral gets pulled in. We can take the role and our parts in some manners. But we cannot engage in this page or this forum. Not the right place. You can of course choose to support in other ways/manners. And clearly if you do not buy into the politics then just watch with a discerning eye and also ears as to what you wish to believe. Entertainment is entertainment. Dramas are entertainments now if they involve politics then you can choose to avoid those. :)

Yes there are many of us who are sane... let's focus on the drama... it will unfold by itself. i did read the novel but I often just watch it on stand alone anyways cos they always adapt things. shrug.
