Ok got to check it out... maybe its the way they filmed her ..... or something.. but she is doing a good job when it comes to acting... and carrying her character so I am still rooting hard for them

I am here for the dude :P and the story... its a good one.. and a male lead that has it all together in a CHINESE xianxia ....omg thats a huge one.. and all those romantic scenes.... *puppy eyed*

I thought I was the only one. I love the plot and the ML but it took a while for her ..... :)

This was one unusual ML and storyline for sure (which makes it good) unlike the earlier dramas where their ML were so bloody righteous or illogically blinded by other SML/SFL etc. etc

so far its been an ok watch :) Enjoying the ride.

Satoh san never disappoints, another excellent drama. Well done adaptation so far!

I rewatched also after starting Dream within a Dream and the Feud... both of which I was just not invested into

Oh my thats great... because the film frankly is about women and the bad cards they are dealt with and how they strove to be better in the terrible environment. The characters were all tough and gritty. The entire economy and entertainment industry isnt doing very well except for a few break outs ... so its not surprising the movies are not hitting their targets.. Good for Liying and the cast. At least its another decent outing and will help them in other projects! :)

Although I selfishly wish Liying will do another historical drama est show... sigh she is so good....

We Girls (向阳花) was another hard watch movie Liying and the supporting cast were all brilliant... very very gritty film about women at the borderlines of society. Excellent acting and depth for Liying. Its not going to be a hit I think because the material is not the mass market type like Ne Zha for example.. and its film about women and their desire to get a better life despite what life deals for them.

maybe a re watch then :P
