I know it's a necessary job, but it must suck to be a defense lawyer in SK. I've heard they really only decide to indict on basically sure win cases and like 98+% of indictments are found guilty. It's a losing battle before you even start the trial
I swear I hate Chang Won's boss more every single time he makes an appearance. At least they are using it as a plot point, and making so he's treated worse by Ms. Kim (less cases. cheaper gift bag, etc) because of his attitude.
As far as I understand it the building owner hasn't paid for the construction costs and is claiming they didn't…
I thought it was the other way around? The owner was saying the contractors were using subpar materials, so he was withholding payment. Then during the inspection Mun Jeong showed proof to the inspector that it was supposed to be "A" but they used "B" instead and proof of the owner sending the prints that are contradictory to what the inspector was actually seeing
what's the difference of IQYI and YouTube? I'm watching on YouTube but is there anything I missed out?
The cut version is on YouTube, the uncut is on IQIYI. The only difference I know of is the kiss scene in ep 1, but there could absolutely be more, just the one I've seen comments about
They keep talking about being small firms but aren't they all one big firm now?
It's really weird to me too. I think they are only 1 firm in name only. It doesn't seem like anything else changed at all, like they still all manage their own associates, cases, and finances, yet they just "look" like a big firm
I'm glad Ju Hyeong called that contract a loan. The whole time the guy was explaining it to the advisor I was sitting there like "this is a loan not an investment, this isn't how investments work. This is exactly how a loan works"
Nothing we saw about that contract sounded like it was just an investment lmao
Was expecting a gem law drama and I end up with this shite They can’t even do a proper case , every case was…
This has never been a law drama to me, it's really just a friends group slice of life drama where they just happen to be lawyers. There was never any real emphasis on them doing cases or anything.
I watched ep 1 of Beyond the Bar, and that is a legal drama.
Why did they go from being foodies to eating at Subway every episode? Part of the charm of this show was seeing all the delicious food they ate, and now it's like they only go to Subway. I swear, atp I wouldn't be surprised if they make it the only thing Mun Jeong can eat with her morning sickness so they canonically have to eat there the rest of the time
I'll probably be the only one, but I will defend Chom. No matter how supportive your family environment is, it…
I agree with what you're saying normally, but the issue with Chom putting off telling her family, at least for me, is the fact that they've been together for 3 years. The time is the issue. I get that it can be hard to come out to your family, but after that amount of time, you're just being disrespectful to your partner. I wouldn't want to have to feel like I'm my SO's dirty secret that's not allowed to ever come out, and I think that's how Tonnam feels at this point. It's not like they are just newly dating
The FL seems to have decided to break up with him. She wanted to tell him something but she didn’t say it. Maybe…
Yeah, that's what I'm hoping as well. The preview also kind of set that up a bit by showing that he's going to propose. Even though they've been dating for a while already, usually proposals that happen this early into a drama never go well lol
Using your SO's family for brownie points with your boss without even asking first is absolutely disgusting. "Look how connected I am, think what those connections can do for you" type shit. Hyo Min needs to RUN
the first 8 minutes i had to watch with on eye closed because it was cringey especially when that khaotu friend…
Yeah I see no jealously at all from Tawan towards Yam. Her look is way more "You're sus AF, what are you playing at?" than any type of romantic, or even platonic jealousy. I think her instincts are just telling her she's the issue, but she doesn't have any proof to back it up, so she's just watching her closely. Literally just doing her job lol
I've seen so many clips of this show and it looks really good, but ngl the episode count is intimidating af lol. Not sure if I want to try something thats 63 hours long
Did Mae really think Ai would let her in her place if there was anything to find relating to the bid? Like, yeah, Ai wants her bad, but she's also a very good, smart business woman. There has been nothing to show that she's that careless, if anything, it's shown that she's extremely meticulous with things like that lol
I've seen 3 of his dramas, and honestly he was one of, if not the worst parts of all 3 to me. I think he's way too overrated as an actor. I haven't watched this yet, but probably will because I like AHS, CSB and Nana
Nothing we saw about that contract sounded like it was just an investment lmao
I watched ep 1 of Beyond the Bar, and that is a legal drama.
