I don’t know if it’s because WTPR ruined me for all other kdramas or what but I was bored to tears with Epi…
I get what you're saying, but I don't notice that at all between the shows. They are 2 entirely different genres, and the suspense/thriller show is obviously going to have more exciting cliffhangers than the campy, lighthearted romcom.
Do I think the cliffhangers in BL are overly exciting and make me guessing how the next episode is going to go, like WTPR? No, but I don't think they are really meant to. They are good for keeping me interested in the show and continuing the show.
WTPR isn't lighthearted at all, so I expect more from the cliffhangers on it since that show is designed and written to be edge of your seat, while BL is designed and written to relax and feel good while watching
The internal survey was so unrealistic. Everyone had glowing things to say about the beers and was all for them, then 2 people who are openly against the project since they wanted it say a sentence or 2 and EVERY SINGLE employee changes their mind? Get real. They might have swayed a couple of employees, but the entire company saying no is so fake.
That being said. The Planning Director does have a point that releasing 3 beers at once is risky. Usually, it's only independent brewerys that can and do do that since it's always limited runs anyways unless one of them takes off, then it will become a staple while the others never come back or only during limited runs while they brew new flavors. A massive company I don't see doing that.
She left the car door open and ran after the crash happened so the kidnapper escaped
He saw the kidnapper enter the car, not leave the car.
It appeared that she knew him and let him in because she was locked in and he had control of the locks and the rest of the car. So it looked sus since he just sauntered up to the car and she let him in, when in actuality he was the one controlling the car from his phone
Anyone like me Has problems with remembering the names of the characters in the drama? I don't speak Korean and…
I usually know the mains names with no issues. About 75% of the time, when a side characters name comes up, I will know who they are talking about without a seconds thought, but if you were to ask me the side characters names, I wouldn't know lol.
It might be because I've watched so many dramas, but while watching I have it all straight but probably won't if I am reading or especially writing a comment
hear me out. what if the organization behind the kidnapping is actually her siblings? her sister who disappeared…
I thought that for a bit, but there's 2 issues I see with that.
1) They are targeting Sa Eon, not her. If it was her family, I think it would be more geared towards her.
2) He is calling her "Eunnie(Female to Female)" not "Noona(Male to Female)" and I also think that the deceased brother was older than her, so he would have been calling her "Yeodongsang" or just Hui Ju
Just checked and all dramacool sites are down and its closing for good. Does anyone have other free sites with…
dramacool has told people for months now that they are changing their URL, and they had a banner saying the new one the whole time and picking any drama would redirect to the new one as ia nc . co It's still up on the new URL as of now at least
Oh, how much hope I had when I see her mom cry beside her bed. That I jump straight to assume she worried about…
I've watched enough K and C Dramas that I just assume mothers are pure f'ing trash until they prove otherwise. It's really helped me be less disappointed in them over my drama career lol
Hui Ju taking the phone is actually probably helping lead Sa Eon to the real kidnapper and mastermind. The fact that the families are the only people in the know about their relationship probably didn't run through his mind during the actual kidnapping, but Hui Ju using intimate details about their relationship caused him to realize it HAS to be someone close to them and start his search in that direction.
If Hui Ju didn't take the phone, he would still be at square 1, but her taking it jumped him to the midway point
TBH, as long as it's not as forced and poorly done as BoA's character in MMH, I'm okay with an "ex" trying to claim ML and causing problems. I don't think that's going to happen though just because shere isn't any romance in this show other than between the leads.
2FL is obsessed with ML and idolizes him, but it seems she realizes she has no shot and he doesn't even give her the time of day. 2ML imo is MAYBE crushing on FL, but seems more just a friend to me, and isn't super flirty or anything towards her so I doubt they will add a triangle at this point, especially since there is so much already going on and it's only 12 episodes
The FL is pretending to be someone else? and if yes, why?
She had no intention or knowledge of the kidnapping. Her taking the phone and using it for her own gain was a spur of the moment decision. I don't know who "master" is, or really even a fleshed out theory at this point.
The kidnappers end game likely isn't ransom imo. The only people that know about their marriage is their families, so it is probably some type of internal power struggle and the actual "master" hired the kidnapper.
Whoever is actually in charge is against Sa Eon, and the kidnapper only knows that Hui Ju has the phone probably because of the news story after he blew up the office and Sa Eon leaked a recording of Hui Ju (thinking it was the kidnapper) to the press, and the kidnapper knew it wasn't him that said that, so he put 2 and 2 together and blackmailed Hui Ju as well to further his and "master's" goals
is that considered good in comparison to other airing dramas?
it's pretty low compared to Fiery Priest S2, but that was a highly anticipated show. To give you an idea, Judge From Hell finale was around 12%. The fact that it increased from last week is a very good sign though
The FL is pretending to be someone else? and if yes, why?
Kind of. The kidnapper told her about the voice modulation and difficult tracking etc. So when she wrecked and made the kidnapper pass out, she stole the phone to use for her gain and is pretending to be the kidnapper.
As for why, she is in a loveless marriage and all his dealings with her are treating her like crap (everything he does for her is purposely unnoticable or easily misconstrued, so she doesn't know about them). She was fine with the marriage until the kidnapping, because she doesn't know that he thought she was safe at home and honestly thinks that he wants her dead, or at least completely fine with that happening.
Using that info, she decided to use the phone and pretend to be the kidnapper to blackmail him into divorcing her, since her prenup and mothers threats make it impossible for her to initiate the divorce. Her thoughts are she needs to get away from the guy that best case scenario doesn't care about her life at all, and worse case actually hoping she would die.

There is no definite answer as of now. But I assume he does not know yet
After she said that, I was positive that he is a replacement child
Terius Behind Me (Suspense, Romance)
Judge From Hell (Suspense, Thriller, Romance)
Strong Woman Do Bong Soon ( Thriller, Romance)
Happiness ( Suspense, Thriller, Slight Romance)
Atypical Family (Suspense, Romance)

That being said, I have only seen a handful of negative comments for this show, so it's probably a mixture of both
