Chae Soo Bin learned both KSL and ASL for her role. From an interview, I think she said she used ASL with the…
That would still be wrong though lol. BSL and ASL are different. It's common in like any countries media that has sign language and multiple spoken languages though where the writers treat sign as one language and all the verbals can be different
Yeah that’s her real mom , her dad was never rich he used to work at bar and in A is her stepsister they are…
Starting this saying I'm 95ish% sure this is right: Yeon-Hui married the Chairman of the news company and brought along Hui-Ju. The Chairman had a son and a daughter already. Yeon-Hui is the stepmother of In-A and the (deceased) son, but the biological mother of Hui-Ju.
Yeon-Hui is basically just a gold digger. She has no children with the Chairman. I read in another comment (maybe from the novel?) that Yeon-Hui was the Chairmans mistress, which is why no one questions Hui-Ju being his 2nd daughter.
When they were young, something happened that caused In-A to become deaf, the son to die and Hui-Ju was traumatized, but physically whole. Yeon-Hui forced her to become a mute in fears the Chairman would kick them out if she was fine.
Yeon-Hui, at least now but probably always, didn't give a f about Hui-Ju's dad. She's been picking up the tab for his medical issues to control Hui-Ju. Hui-Ju married Sa-Eon so her father could have better medical care, it was her only demand to accept the marriage.
Yeon-Hui and the Chairman are only paying for the care because they want the relationship with the President if/when he gets elected
I noticed that CSB had 0 internal monologue lines until after she spoke for the first time. That was a really good call imo. Ever since she spoke, we now hear her thoughts, but nothing during the actual kidnapping scene
The bodyguards (BG) are still there but HeeJoo explicitly said that he shouldn't make it obvious so they follow…
Nobody but her knows about the 2nd hacking. The parking lot guard guy did the car elevator thing because he assumed she left and had no idea her car wouldn't start. The bodyguards should have done something when the car elevator took her up though. (Maybe they did, otherwise there's no reason for the guard to bring that "empty" bay back down)
I have a question. Is the guy who went shooting with Chairman Hong is Sa Eon’s dad or brother? Because he seems…
Pretty sure it's Sa Eon's dad.
And I could be wrong, but I took it as a diss which is why he acted like that. Chairman was comparing Sa Eon to his grandfather and implying that the greatness skipped a generation.
The part I didn't get is why he was saying that they were hiding Sa Eon away. Dudes the Press Secretary for the Blue House, and is a completely known figure to the entire country lol
Can’t Netflix release all episodes just like their other series? Huhu it’s such a torture waiting for the…
If it's a Netflix original, they do. Netflix just owns the streaming rights of the show, they didn't produce it, MBC did and MBC airs their shows weekly
If Netflix wanted to drop them all at once, it wouldn't even be on there until January after MBC finishes airing it
It aired like 2-3 hours ago lol. I would guess the vast majority of watchers haven't seen it yet. Spoiler tags are for things that have happened more than they are for theories. You should spoiler anything that gives something in the show or movie away, especially if it's a recent show.
Can't she tell that she has this powerful man wrapped around her fingers?? Like he just do whatever she tells…
That scene made perfect sense to me. He has her phone at the office to "look for hacking" and they communicate through notes app. His phone is the only way they had to communicate.
Even if she had her phone, his was already out and ready
I think it's great how the writers knew watchers were going to call them the JuJu couple, and threw in the curveball of that already being taken by his ex lol
Just started this for the third time and I completely forgot just how much of a little hellion XiaoBiao is at the start lol. He calms down A LOT throughout the show
Anyone coming to the comment section before starting this, DO NOT START IT! Netflix is going to torture us with…
Netflix is telling me next ep tomorrow, so if they're doing that I guess it's regional? At least for this week, they are putting them out in the US the same day they air
It's SOOO good. There is 0 skinship (I don't think they ever even kiss) but it's heavy on the romance. And it's 2023 not 2024 in case there was another one
That man cares about his wife, but not learning sign language up until now is very terrible.
That was my thought as well. I see so many comments about how he's already so in love with her and always has etc. but he hasn't shown any attempt to actually be able to communicate with her which is just weird. He should have at least learned the basics you would think
Great first episode :)Three things I never understood though .. (1) When he burst into the mens toilet chasing…
1) He's not the President. He's like the US's Press Secretary
2) That was kind of a weird decision, but it is kind of common to do that with your "date" of the evening, even if it's just a professional "date." Kind of like when bridesmaids and groomsmen walk down the aisle, they link arms but most of the time aren't actually a couple
3) He has no idea what she was saying to him, just deduced by her expressions and the fact that she was storming off that she was telling him off and cursing at him
Why TF did her mom tell him that she brought Hui Ju home when they left separately? It doesn't make any sense to lie about that, and that lie caused him to not believe she was in danger. Did I miss something?
i’m surprised to see quite a lot of negative comments here. like.. are we even watching the same drama? 😕anyways,…
The main story is good. The issue I have with the show is all the time spent on the greedy townspeople that don't really add to the story at all. They have some good scenes like the 2 ladies shipping the main couple and them all working to get the couple together, but any scene the leads aren't in is just them complaining and wasting time
