In Christian mythology, yes they are the same. In this show, they are not. We have never seen Lucifer, and we probably won't. But Bael and Lucifer are 2 separate demons in this show and Bael is under Lucifer. IIRC they went over it in ep 1.

Here's the heirarchy as far as I can tell of the demons we have seen or heard about:
1)Lucifer
2)Bael and Satan
3)Justita (and I think?) Paimon, or w/e the demon she killed last weeks name was
4)Gremory and some of the cooking class demons
5)Mando and the cleaners and the rest of the cooking class group

I don't understand, who is Baël in the hierarchy of Hell? Is he the boss? The strongest of them all? Because…
He's #2 in Hell, behind Lucifer. It's like Lucifer is the chairman that stays out of the day to day, but is still actually the boss; and Bael is the CEO that's there every day

Bael was seen without his spider legs in the second last scene of today's episode. Was it the first time that…
The very first shot of Bael in ep 1 he didn't have the legs. He grew them out as he walked towards Justita. I'm assuming his leg things are like the angels wings when Gabriel and BitNa talked at night, and like in the show Lucifer, where they are always there, it's his prerogative to show them or not.

I mean, they're huge, and her office isn't exactly big, so he might have just not had them out lol. Every other time we've seen him, he was in a huge open area

The fact that she literally just side quested the number 1 issue in Hell for the past 26 years should give her a little bit of leniency lol. I don't think Bael has been telling her to do these ridiculous sentences all along, so I am interested to see why he wants J in Hell so badly that he's threatening to kill the person that solved his greatest issue

well if he really turns out to be satan that means the og fiance is already dead and satan took over his body…
If he is Satan, that means BitNa was actually with Satan, no? I don't think demons body hop, at least it hasn't been done yet in this show, so he was already Satan before BitNa and him started dating.

I think it's more likely that she was the 2nd wife, and mother of the druggie brother. Either that, or the elder son was born from a mistress and she had to claim him as her own to protect her husbands reputation. That's a somewhat common thing that happens in chaebol type families in dramas. Romance in the House and Red Swan both had that plot line in the last couple months alone

Title The Judge from Hell Spoiler
I feel it's most like a preview trick... like "yeah i killed him because of my negligence as a father [...] it's…
I think it's more "My son (elder) killed someone, he still has his life to live. I will take the blame."

I think he knows how evil his son is, and the whole parent confessing to protect their child thing is common, both in dramas and real life. It's just this time, the son didn't actually kill his brother, his dad just thinks he did.

Caveat to that, it's a teaser so it could honestly be either and someone else dies earlier in tomorrows ep. I'm just assuming they are talking about the druggie brothers death.

kinda hate how park shinhye is too good of an actor after watching the pv because looking at her expressions and…
I can't see him being Satan just because BitNa already killed him once. In this show, both body and soul die when the body dies, and the fact that DaOn was killed but brought back by Bael takes DaOn out of the running completely for me. If he was Satan, BitNa would not have been punished after she killed him in the early eps.

This was reinforced when BitNa told him I know with 100% certainty you never killed anyone when they were at the beach. Him being alive after her stabbing him is objective proof he does not belong in Hell, and even if Satan isn't J, Satan belongs in Hell so he would have stayed there after she stabbed him

One thing that doesn't make sense to me is her ex has killed people before, and obviously they were planning to cover up BitNa's murder anyways, so why would he send his brother to do it when he is obviously a f-up? Like, yeah, he and/or his dad made the brother what he is, but I think the fact that a judge saw evidence of imprisonment, torture, and murder would call for either a professional or him doing it himself over sending his drugged up brother that would have a high chance of being sloppy and leaving evidence around

Kim Ah Young is such an underrated actress imo. I've seen her in 2 shows now, and her character wasn't even close to the same. She was great at the cute, goofy bff in MN&D, and in this, she is killing the crazy demon role. Even her expressions and eyes seem completely different between them, it's like she completely immerses herself into whatever role she is playing like a more seasoned actress

I still can't get over the fact that this is the scriptwriter's debut drama. This is the second drama of 24 that I am rating in the 9s (First was Marry My Husband), and the fact that it's a new writer is crazy to me. More scriptwriters, including the ones in Hollywood, need to go to whatever classes she did lol. Her talent is rare and I hope she doesn't do the whole every trope in the book thing on the last episode like a lot of writers do

Me as well. . . but the cast? FL not my favorite.
Honestly, imo both of those dramas are hit or miss. I think I have them both ranked in the 7s at best. But CSB is adorable as always in them lol, she carried them imo

I expect masterpiece, but not because of Netflix lot of mid dramas are on Netflix and lots of amazing dramas are…
Not just Dramas. Netflix has always been extremely hit or miss with their exclusives. They have like a 1:5 hit to flop ratio

yea in SK for murders committed before 2007 there was a statute of limitation of only 15 years, now it's 25
The US doesn't have one for murder. You can kill someone at 18 and wind up arrested for it when your in your 90s

Brave IS chrome for all intents and purposes lol. It just has built in ad block and privacy things. Plus, it doesn't send every single thing you do to Google.

My dad is the most tech illiterate person I've ever met, and I switched his browser to Brave, changed the desktop icon to Chrome (he knew that meant internet) and he hasn't been able to tell the difference for over a year now

Another thing about her sentences. It has shown that she doesn't need to give them that light of sentences. The…
I can see that being what the writer is doing because SK is notoriously bad for lenient sentencing, but it doesn't fit her character. Justita doesn't care enough about the human world to use her position to make a point imo. It is only self serving reasons I think. And I think giving harsher sentences more often, then just killing them en route to prison could only be a net benefit for her

Yeah! Also, I really wanna know if his only power is voice manipulation when the other demons seem to have more…
He is a young demon, BitNa said that at one point. He's more Justita's low level assistant than right hand man where Gremory would be like middle to upper middle management. Say they were cops, MandDo is uniformed patrol, ARong is a head detective and BitNa is police chief. At least that's how I understood their positions so far

You mean Gremory? And yeah, I don't think she's Satan, I think she is just doing her mission. To me, she isn't sus, but she is going to be a problem for BitNa
