Good drama, good romance, interesting plot
The plot of this drama was interesting and whilst being an almost typical revenge on cheater type plot it finds it’s own ways to be unique, with the acting elements and the romance between the leads. The chemistry between the leads is eminent even in non romantic scenes. I really enjoyed this drama as it is a simple yet mature romance that is easy to work through and has a plot that will hook you and make you want to watch more. The length was shorter than typical dramas but it is worth your while and is a really good watch. Would watch again.Was this review helpful to you?
Conveys plot and emotion beautifully
If i had to describe this drama in one word, it would be beautiful. I feel like this drama encompasses the beauty and simplicity of a plot which conveys pure emotion without over complications. The contrast between kiyoi and hira’s lives and lifeview but then the similarities are uncanny, and the almost unexpected romance between the two is so fascinating. I feel like you can’t really describe this drama in words and you have to watch it. The drama is the perfect length to perfectly portray the story and everything about this drama is perfectly done.Really satisfying to watch and i really did enjoy watching this- the two have an unspoken connection that is beautiful to observe. Oh and the ost bangs.

this movie was AMAZING!!! i loved every second, from the happy smiles of the characters to the beautiful ending, this movie was such a good watch! the romance and plot balance was perfect and the chemistry between actors was so good that even when they weren’t doing anything you could feel the love and tension between them! i also loved the concept and the fl’s ideas about love and how she helps the ml to find himself and establish his own perception on love! go watch this, it’s a great watch for those who want to sit down with a hot drink and watch a bubbly yet mature romance movie!! Everything amazing but ending
Amazing drama! But the ending isn’t as satisfying. It’s happy ofc but not as satisfying as it could be. half the drama is the ml figuring out her feelings, however if your gonna watch a version watch this one. it doesn’t feel old whatsoever. Music grown on me, and acting amazing, specifically the male lead. Idk man he looks like such a good kisser lmao. Amazing drama, definitely watch. Don’t be put off by people saying it’s confusing.
Don’t be put off by the other reviews. Go for it, and watch this. It’s an amazing movie and will totally put you in the feels. Amazing acting, and amazing scenes. Strangely nostalgic and shows a passionate but short lived and messy romance. The ending is sad, but somehow comforting. Overall think that this movie shows good things don’t last forever. Also shows the female leads struggles with fame and her changing lifestyle, and the boys almost opposite free spirit and deep sense of longing to protect her. Acting is amazing, from both mains and you’ll definitely love this movie. also, search ‘million dollar man drowning love’ amazing video. million dollar man fits this movie perfectly, such an amazing song. if you want to decide whether to watch this or not, watch that video. it has some scenes. waste of my time
i watched this drama a while ago but i had to tell yall just how bad this was i have no fucking idea why everyone and their mum has an obssession with itthis drama is 12 episodes full of useless plot and everyone turning into a zombie
you literally cant get a break basically everyone is zombified by the end and the ending is so shitty and makes it worse
this drama is a waste of your time youll be angsty the entire time and then the ending will put the nail in your coffin
how can anyone enjoy this this was literally horrible
also that nayeon girl was so fucking stupid bc she could have just stayed inside and lived to see the end of the zombie apocalypse but nooooooo she just had to be quirky and come out
this drama is horrible watch extracurricular, hellbound or alice in borderland instead

wonderful drama
I didn't expect to like this drama this much. It has a great cast, VERY unique premise and interesting and complex relationships between the characters. I like how almost all the characters are morally ambiguous - this is an accurate depiction of real life, in which morality isn't black and white, and every hero doesnt wear a cape and isnt perfect. I liked how even the worst characters (Ji-han aside, we all hate him) could develop and become a better person with the help of others. I think the romance left something to be longed for as it mainly focused on the supernatural connection between the two, which is important but i think there couldve been slightly more in terms of textbook romance, however the plot wasnt frustrating and angsty, and that i applaud since watching a romance that turns angsty mid-drama is like living hell on earth. My main qualm with the plot is the gwi-ju dying and then being brought back into present life by his son arc. Although the ending is good, it felt rushed and i often feel frustrations with dramas which spend more time showing the troubles and then once they resolve them, they leave you with five minutes to enjoy them. This drama did just that, only on the penultimate and final episodes, however. I REALLY loved hyeong-tae and grace's characters, they added a light comedy element to the drama whilst also balancing menacing and comforting personas. What i particularly loved was the scene in the penultimate episode, where the three girls essentially collaborate to destroy jihan and put their positions as frenemies aside. I smiled so much when i saw Dong-hee taking grace through the air and the three rejoicing afterwards - it was really heartwarming. I also enjoyed hyeong-taes soft protective gestures, and the way he made sure to keep everyone safe without their knowledge - this was honestly so sweet. I-nas plotline at school was not really of any interest to me and i found it rather boring and generic, but what i did enjoy was her relationship with gwi-ju becoming better, and her finding a mother figure and a friend in da-hae. This drama was a good watch and i would recommend it to others. Shoutout to choi Gwang-rok and ryu abel, i enjoyed their acting the most.Was this review helpful to you?
FROM SOMEONE WHO HAS READ THE WEBTOON - AMAZING
i watched this drama, as you can tell, because i was a daily reader of the completed webtoon series of the same name that this drama was based upon. as someone who reads both webtoon and watches kdramas frequently, i often get disappointed by crap adaptations that deviate entirely from the plot (true beauty does this, worst kdrama ive watched by far)so when i watched this adaptation, i was pleasantly surprised by how close this was to the webtoon! the castings were spot on, the plot was nicely reshaped into a ten-episode format, and the main events were the exact same. i enjoyed jang da-ah as ha-rin and bona as sung soo-ji, i think they have nice coordination as actors and suit their respective roles perfectly. the casting of eun-byeol was INCREDIBLE - how could one play out a characters role so perfectly! she looks exactly like drawn eunbyeol in the webtoon- i instantly knew it was her. whilst pyramid game deviates ever so slightly from the webtoon, it is a very very good watch, and i can imagine how good this must be for anyone who hasnt read it. this is a MUST WATCH for anyone who is a fan of school and psychological themes!!!! and obviously, as per the webtoon, the ending is immaculate- no loose ends over here, my friends!!

WATCH IT - right now
So good- i don’t even know where to start. so many things to figure out in the plot, the plot line is so complex yet never confusing. the characters are so lovable and it really gets into the mind of the antagonist. there’s no clear good and evil and accurately represents that everyone does something wrong in the end. This drama has a good plot line and a good ending- it’s a very entertaining watch and when i tell you i was hooked i was hooked. one of the best 12 episodes i’ve watched. very solid drama an enjoyable watch and i will miss it very much.Was this review helpful to you?
absolutely perfect
this dramas plot is carved out beautifully- twists and turns every episode, it leads you through a maze of who killed who, who’s the newest police suspect and what really happened with park wonseok. but said maze reaches a finalised conclusion that isn’t consumed with heartbreak and doesn’t leave loose ends hanging about. even when you think the murderer is obvious or the results is predictable, this drama finds a way to throw a spanner in the works and prove you wrong time and time again- this drama is a whodunnit, tinted with school life, drama and a slither of romance- i highly recommend you watch this, it’s a great binge!Was this review helpful to you?

THE BEST DRAMA. not an imperfection in the plot. i went through all 26 episodes in a week. this drama has brought smiles to my face and tears to my eyes. i’m so sad that i finished this drama- i miss it already :( . it’s so full of drama- there’s a new twist every episode but it’s done so well. it’s so interesting you’ll never be bored, and the characters are so lovable and hateable. the ending was mostly happy with a sad tinge to it. Good romance, bubbly, lot of romantic scenes
This drama is romance and romance only- and it’s great. The length is perfect, and the plot isn’t awfully complicated but is still interesting. There are a lot of skinship scenes (if you like that!) and no toxicity, just a pure relationship with understanding and communication. It’s a good watch and you’ll find yourself smiling at your phone multiple times. It’s also a great binge and great if your just looking for something to watch in one go. Very interesting- plot will keep you hooked
This drama was super entertaining to watch. It’s the perfect length, and every episode is jam packed with interesting storylines and concepts to keep you hooked. Its such a good drama that represents real themes and leaves you with good morals. It explores the ideas of self perception and toxic cultures online and at school very well. The acting was really good and ho sung is my favourite character (just an interesting and funny character really). The plot always keeps you on edge and although there is a lot happening it’s not confusing or overwhelming. Amazing drama, would rewatch, really good.Was this review helpful to you?
Best drama i’ve ever watched
Extracurricular is beautiful- i could rewatch this for days. It perfectly encompasses a dark concept without being overly gory and conveys an edging romantic plot without making everything about romance. Extracurricular is fascinating- the plot is constantly interesting and i remember every moment vividly, and the duality of a school but crime and dark genre will always be my favourite combination. I watched this a year ago and rewatched a couple of months ago, but i came back here specifically to write a review just to help people experience the joy i did when watching this. Just a good watch, clean satisfying and fun
This drama is just interesting, fun and the length is perfect. It’s nothing too conceptual, just a fun bl with interesting scenarios and characters. I quite enjoy the straightforwardness of this drama, everything is as it seems but it never feels plain. This is definitely a happy and fun watch and the romance is structured well. You have to watch this at least once. Characters are good and acting is good and when it intends to be this drama is funny. Very lovable drama you should watch.
