Dont let the title fool you

This drama advertises itself as a primarily romance orientated drama, but i would beg to differ. If you're looking to watch this drama, it is NOT a romance, it is just sixteen episodes of 'hagwon' (academy/tuition centre) politics, and how the hagwon is affected by said 'romance'.
So, that explains why i feel like i wasted my time with this drama.
What did i get out of it? Basically nothing.
See, i wouldnt have minded if it was vice versa and the romance took the main role with a side of hagwon politics, but that wasnt the case.
I would have still watched this anyways since i am a fan of wi ha jun, he's my type in men and an amazing actor to boot, so any drama that he works on that i like the premise of is a must watch for me, but no amount of ogling at his beautful face could save this drama from the trenches of a severe lack of romantic plotline, chemistry or development.
I wouldnt recommend this if you are looking for romance.
Theres no midnight romance, its just hagwon.
If you like hagwon politics however, you should watch it.
It's a well made drama, however it's romance plotline is very weak and this drags the drama down - nothing much really happens between them and they have barely any romantic tension after episode 8.
Basically, after episode 8 the drama is entirely focused on hagwon politics.
Quite disappointed. I like the ost a lot tho, an the acting is very good, if it didnt have these qualities it would have been a 6.
Love the actor playing si woo, i will be waiting for his future roles, and the actress playing hye jin is amazing and encompasses her role very well.

Great premise, super addictive, but bad cast and execution

This show was great when I first started watching it. I was addicted - the premise was great, and personally relatable for me - I related to a lot of the cast members as despite being quite a bit younger than them I felt the same way about dating. However, they brushed through the ‘makeover’ element and severely underplayed it. My next big qualm was the SEVERE mistreatment of cast members Mi-ji and Seung-chan. Despite being cast members that were introduced relatively early for game changers (as typically in other shows they are introduced quite a bit later) they had NO screen time. NO dates, NO choices, we didn’t even have an update on WHO they liked? Were they even there? It would be fine for them to get less screen time sure, but they were IGNORED? This was honestly horrible of the producers and it leads me to disregard them. It’s not professional, and it’s not normal conduct. I feel horrible for these two. My next is not their fault, but the cast was horribly bull-headed and the girls especially were just plain mean.
Yeolmyung was plain rude to jae-yun. Jiyeon was rude and dismissive as soon as she got what she wanted. Jeong-mok is a walking red flag. And barely any of them matched, because each of them was fixated on someone they had talked to for ten seconds at the beginning of the show, despite that person clearly being interested in them??!!!! So whilst i loved watching this show, especially for a dating show - i surprisingly didn’t lose as much interest as i usually do - the conclusion was horrifying and i think the producers need to step it up if this show gets a S2. One, not all of our cast members need to be ‘traumatised’. They need therapy, not a partner. Two, the game changers need to ACTUALLY change something and NOT be ignored - everyone needs screen time, albeit little. Three, we need to stop treating the walking red flags like they are romantic prodigies. Make the activities a little more interesting, and extend the period. But I enjoyed watching this, so that’s why it has a high rating. The producers just underplayed a golden concept.

I AM SO MAD WITH THE ENDING!!!!!!!

Perfect drama. such a whirlwind of emotions but the plot is well done but there should have been an additional episode to tie up loose ends. the ending doesn’t really make sense and there should have been a flash to the future where it shows how they’ve been doing. Overall great drama but i should introduce you to my one major qualm that is dropping this drama a whole 0.5 stars. I AM SO MAD. INJOO X DOIL NEVER HAPPENED. I AM FUMING THE ACTORS HAD SO MUCH CHEMISTRY AND I SHIPPED THEM SO BADLY. WHY COULDNT THEY END UP TOGETHER F U DIRECTOR. I AM SO MAD.

Started off AMAZING, but fell short by the end

This drama was honestly amazing when i first started watching it. It had a unique premise, and a cute, relatable MC. I liked how the ML didn't magically start liking her, or recognise her from childhood, or any other cliche. The FL won him and others over with her genuine affection and kindness. I enjoyed that he had struggled a lot, and that this wasnt underplayed and forgotten within seconds. The quests to destroy ghosts and save him was interesting and engaging, whilst all the while the MCs built a connection and we got to learn about other characters. But then episode 8/9 happens. And suddenly the entire plot is thrown completely off track, everything is super complicated and incomprehensible, and the romance between the two is shattered. Even by the ending, they 'recover' things but nothing is really recovered. The drama has become angsty and frustrating. I will say that Bong-Su's background and story was absolutely golden - I cried for him so many times, it breaks my heart over and over again, but the choice to have him stay so long was a mistake. He should have crossed over in episode 10, and the hash this drama made of itself should have been resolved. Why turn a sweet, fun romantic drama into an angsty, dramatic mess? I was disappointed. The cast was amazing, in particular Cho Young Woo was STELLAR. The way he was able to switch personalities was incredible, he is seriously talented and the acting probably saved this drama from a 7/7.5 ranking.

A whole lot of fun and suspense

If I had to think of a reason for you to watch this show, i'd tell you to watch it for the same reason you might watch Penthouse. It's filled with tension and drama, and definitely leaves you on the edge of your seat. This season axes old characters and introduces new ones, and creates i'd say a more uplifting vibe than the first season. The acting on the whole is quite good, not incredible but pretty good. I enjoy Yeri and Lee Eun Saem's acting and their friendly chemistry, and the actress playing Yul Hee also does an amazing job. The actor behind Sa-rang is far too good for a newcomer, and I enjoy the acting of the rest of the cast, especially of the actor behind Woo-jin. Warning though - this season hints to a season THREE of this show, which is aggravating because i have to wait for it. Bitch x rich is like a raw gemstone - it has all the potential to be flawless, but is rough around the edges. Nevertheless, you still want it and it gives you joy. If you like this genre of drama, and enjoyed the first season, watch it.

from a seasoned drama lover- this is just as good as they say

when i first encountered this drama, it seemed to me a typical romance drama that people had overhyped. i usually dont watch dramas involving time travel or anything similar either, so i was hesitant.
boy, i was wrong.
this drama is fabulous - each part of the plot is intricately mapped out and kim hye yoon and byeon woo seok's stellar chemistry is the cherry on top. the characters are lovable, the time travel element strengthens the bond between the main leads whilst simultaneously conveying real life emotions like nostalgia, heartbreak and gratitude.
not to mention my own personal reactions - i was kicking my feet and smiling at their romance and even let out some sly tears at their emotional reunion.
i like the aspects that each time travel results in different realities - by the end theyve experienced several realities together and somehow find a way to connect each time - this is truly beautiful.
i also have to shout out the comedy element - my favourite scene is when sun jae is zoning out and says something insulting whilst his friend is stealing his food and says 'i just wanted a bite...' - so many moments like these made me chuckle!!! i was laughing so much, it was really hilarious!!
i could nitpick, but honestly i dont think i can, ive had too much fun watching this drama, it was genuinely incredibly enjoyable.
dramas like these make me totally starstruck - as an INFP, i am guilty of being highly fantastical in my own head- their incredible romance makes me a little sad i cant have it in my own life.
WATCH THIS DRAMA!!!!! hopefully you will enjoy it as much as i did
everyone who worked on this needs a pat on the back, the director/s, cast and production crew, all personnel, everyone.

Amazing drama- you should watch

To.two is an amazing drama- it explores the themes of social media, bullying, social hierarchies and exclusion very well. With a tinge of romance it is a very complete drama.
i know a lot of people are complaining about the length but i like short dramas, so it didn’t bother me
I also liked it’s accessibility- if you didn’t know you can watch the whole series on youtube. Really convenient
A lot definitely went into this drama as the production, characters and acting are really good. We need a season 2!

really good watch it

i really loved this drama- the plot is so interesting and the acting is on point. this drama made me smile and cry and i really love it. i do have a little sour taste in my mouth after soo ho, who is never confirmed dead but apparently never makes another appearance in the webtoon, however the ending sets this show up perfectly for a season two based on the start of the webtoon on the webtoon app (i think the first part of the manhwa was cut out for webtoon i’m not sure tho) i’m real sad about soo ho but this drama is great

Ending felt wrong & rushed.

Overall amazing drama, the ending was offputting as the true man and amazing character in general Kaga was sidelined when he should have been the love interest. ending was bad but not completely off putting to change my view. Acting was AMAZING, and so was music. Great! (last episode is where it is rushed but all others 10/10) Rushed as in it should’ve had another episode to make everything clear. And Kaga should’ve got the girl. End of story. I am now trying to make this fit 500 characters don’t mind me 🙉

Good watch, beware it is very long, but good watch nonetheless

This drama is very good - it is of quality and the cast is absolutely perfect. I'd like to say though, i would class this drama as more of a quintessential slice of life drama than a romance, as the subplots take up a very significant portion of time. EVERYTHING about this drama is perfect, except for the amount of side plots. I would argue the old lady side plot is very unnecessary, and whilst i enjoyed the two sets of parent's subplots i think it was too long and time consuming especially towards the end - this was too ambitious and took up too much orecious time which could be used to craft a good ending. LOVE LOVE LOVE the Mo-eum and Dan-ho subplot, love seung-hyos parents subplot also, as well as seok-ryu's brothers subplot. Id say this drama is pretty good at everything it does but towards the end it becomes too overcrowded with plots going on at the same time, diluting and distracting from the main plot. One thing i will say is that i appreciate each drama having an extra 20 minutes than the usual hour - atleast the director has made the time for all of these differing plots. Overall - watch this drama if you enjoy a slice of life, romance, family and community kind of drama, that is long (around 20 hours) and emotional. I enjoyed it, it is of high quality.

amazing drama. for fantasy, slice of life and drama genre lovers, a must watch

i was pleasantly surprised by this drama. I started watching this drama only knowing the ML from romanced- so i cant describe to you my shock when i discovered there were 3 idols on the cast list? Nana and hyunsuk did absolutely amazing, especially hyunsuk- id love to see him in more dramas he plays his role so well. nana aces the main lead role well aswell, really embodying the character. Id say the romance in this is pretty good although this show is almost definitely not romance orientated (no hug or kiss). Plotwise, this show is perfect, my only criticism is at the end, some things go unexplained. i have my own theory that makes a lot of sense; all the characters live in the real world, but are transported into the novel universe in which time moves a lot faster than real life. Only some are conscious that they are in the novel (jebi, hanse)- the others think it is a dream hence their unawareness.

Honestly aside from the things about the novel universe that go unexplained and the lack of updates on the other characters at the end, this drama is almost perfect. Id recommend watching it.

GOOD WATCH- does not waste your time!!

This is the first 16 episode drama i’ve watched that i’ve thoroughly enjoyed each episode and time was not wasted in. This is the perfect bubbly romantic-comedy that does not stall 10 years for the main couple but still allows romantic development- each character is valuable to the plot in their own right and each arc is valuable to the story. It’s structured perfectly and my only critique would be of the subplot between the brother and the doctor- it’s boring and i skip it every time, but it’s easily skipped so don’t let it deter you. Overall this is one of the best mainstream romance kdramas i’ve watched and if you haven’t watched this it is a MUST-watch.

artistic movie

this movie was quite weird, but fun. i liked how it portrayed the lives and struggles of the two, whilst the worms thing being confusing, i think this movie portrays an interesting perspective on love. it kinda feels like love is supposed to be a glitch in the code, but it seems to prevail despite the bug being fixed - thats how i see it. nana komatsu's acting is amazing as always, and kento hayashi is perfect similarly. acting is good, music is good, cinematography is good. the movie kinda feels like a daydream, which i like. i think this movie explores love in an unconventional, beyond surface level manner, and breathes fresh air upon the clusters of conventional romance films.

literally flawless

watch this drama. it’s tear jerking, joyful, seat gripping, nail biting- quite literally everything.
i enjoy the plot- it’s complicated but perfectly understandable- it’s smart and well thought out. it lacks unnecessary aspects that other dramas have, instead every part of it is perfect. it isn’t rushed and instead goes at the perfect pace. the acting is amazing, specifically that of the leads. every character plays a perfect role and there are no loose ends hanging about. the depiction of the male leads development is incredibly detailed and realistic and his personality is definitively shown through his words and actions. this drama is just incredibly well done and it’s high ranking is well warranted. when i started watching this drama i didn’t expect it to be so good but in eventuality this is a drama you can watch at your own pace but your experience will be the same: you’ll find it to be one of the best dramas you’ve ever watched. i know i do!

best korean bl ever

this drama is so so good- i watched it in one sitting. 22:00 to 1:16- i watched it all. this bl is so good, it has the perfect balance of romance and plot- it correctly uses the plot to build the couples relationship and gives the perfect fluff to plot ratio. the main couple’s chemistry is AMAZING- and their relationship dynamic is to die for. they’re so adorable together and the way that this drama allows the mc to come out of his shell and begin to feel real emotion is so amazing. i also love how at the beginning he compares his feelings to the functions of a computer but at the end he abandons the analogy and accepts his feelings as they are- i love the small details of development. this director needs a raise because this plot was beautifully written and executed. every detail was perfect. i love this drama sm and the acting was amazing. best bl i’ve watched ever. watch it !!
