just saw the 1st ep it seems nice but i just don't vibe with it i think it's been my no.1 reason of not watching…
I'd plead for at least watching Episode 2 before dropping. All dramas first episode are a few levels below the further episodes as the first episode is intended to introduce the story line and the characters.
My personal opinion so far........... SIGHHHH. I knew that this female lead was not going to pull me into believing…
I think Kim Ji Won is doing a great job. Even disregarding Episodes 2-3, the chemistry in episode 1 alone is simply there. She shows her different character in between the flashbacks and the present-day interview. We can only wait until they finally meet in the present day.
Same here. I love the acting, the chemistry between ALL couples, the breathtaking cinematography. It makes me…
It was awesome. I pity the people who stopped watching the drama on account of Episode 1 alone. Sure, it takes some time getting used to this new format, but Episode 1 of all dramas usually introduce the series, the characters, and the works.
I hope the characters can meet in present times. Jaewon and Gun would make great friends who tease each other haha. They need each other's influences in their lives.
reading through the comments and it looks like I am the only one here who is absolutely in love with everything…
Same here. I love the acting, the chemistry between ALL couples, the breathtaking cinematography. It makes me want to learn surfing and it feels as if i am in there seeing it all for myself and experiencing the waves. The soundtrack is amazing!! I(It will be published this friday and i cant wait).
And the interview format just WORKS. It makes me feel like I am in a group of friends, and seeing the characters comment on each other, getting them closer. The dialogue is ace, too, there have been some great one-liners.
He is wearing a ring in present-day episodes, also the PD defined this couple as "faded love" kind of story. So…
OH not at all. I'm just talking about somes lines the actors read in their scriptreading session. It was uploaded on KakaoTv but also subbed and available on youtube. In that video you can find many lines that have been used already ("I love you", "I'm GOOD!", etc) and then those that have not appeared yet (some of which talk about marriage/marrying - not sure if /marriage-/ happens, but there is some dialogue alluding to it).
They met through a one night stand 5yrs ago and the guy has been single for 2yrs... Did they continue their one…
I found the ultimatum thing pretty great, though. Because if she had not showed up, or just contacted him, he would have a final answer. Of course he'd be pretty sad and beat up about it, but he could move on.
She actually was at work. She could have just not showed up and then the next day probably told him she had to work, or not tell him, I guess.
It must not have been revealed, because he still doesn't seem to know who she is. His interview was all about…
I don't think she is able to let go, though, considering she does the interview despite knowing he is doing it as well, and knowing him, even if her interviews are mostly flippant - it just sounds defensive to me. And in the present day she doesn't look happy-go-lucky either, and she seeks out things about him. The cameras are representing Jaewon as he is a photographer and the ending shots mostly show them in similar situations.
I thibk she just disappeared on him instead of properly breaking up... I think it's said that he don't know why…
All the things the characters say should be taken as a pinch of salt only. (See the whole banter between the interviewees, as they comment on each other, they contradict each other). After all, humans lie and sometimes do not even realise. Also, lies of omission. That whole speech sounded rather defensive to me.
I think there is more to their story than just one night, or one summer, even if it is quantified by that way, it does not capture everything.
Okay, so now we know it wasn't the one night stand angle. Now we are going to get a bigger buildup for a huge…
He is wearing a ring in present-day episodes, also the PD defined this couple as "faded love" kind of story. So there is more to it than just ONS. He does not know her real identity, she does though. And, there's still the camera to come into play.
Wow i came to the comments to see if it's worth watching except that is next to impossible to find since the comments…
The MPDG is a fake identity. I think it will be deconstructed later when the characters meet in real time. Most of the episodes focus on something that has happened 1 year ago, with brief interview and other character's experiences in between.

He got his hopes up, hearing about that she told Gyeong-Gu that she would see the movie with Jae-Won, not him, and other things she said.
