tbh the ending was good but a bit confusing. How did szz go back to canada after like a year or two and somehow his formerly racist teammates are now friends with him?! Also his former teammates from the other university who thought he was using enhancement drugs attending and cheering him on in the final game with no explanation was weird as well. I guess the drama didn't find the need to explain it. :/

there's also another couple in the show i forgot to mention. It's qiao mu and jian yi. They have an okay amount of screentime in the later episodes

i can't believe the drama is ending this week :')

technically there is a bit of romance with xu hao's character and some supporting characters but keep in mind that romance is not one of the main genre of this drama. She's decently featured in each episode but tbh i think one of the supporting characters gets more screentime than her.

Never hated a show so much. The girls were amazing but the whole show was very xenophobic...the editing portrayed c group as villains, j group was basically non existent, and k group was always the only group being praised. Also for the girls in c or j group who were extremely talented and respectful (aka msnake can't evil edit/twist anything about em) got like max 1-2 seconds of screentime each ep. If you're rooting for c or j group, save yourself the pain and don't watch gp999 :')
