Would not that be enough of character development for both leads? Dr Gu has changed so much from ep 1 till the current episode, and LZX has grown so much especially after the break-up. What more character development is needed in a 29 episode story?

My favorite one is the simple black coat with green hoodie and black pants. The one he wore when he came back after retreating. He was front center at the door, and it stood out in contrast to his colleagues white doctor coats.

The contrast of that simple, casual black outfit with the colleagues white doctor coats showed how young and innocent he looks, how stunning his face and body frame is. (i better stop here)😎
