She used to be this bubbly and confident girl, but now we notice that she is over reacting to everything that Dr Gu says. and Dr Gu is putting in a lot of effort to reassure her despite his busy schedule. What his mother is afraid of is now showing up. Things can't go on like this... that is why I cant wait to see how they resolve their conflicts and difficult period.

I think she is feeling very insecure right now and acting out a bit more than when we first met her. Dr Gu is this mature, successful surgeon who is an incredible boyfriend (who also has the looks) and probably all these factors are making her even more insecure. After all, she is only 21 or 22. the age gap and the career gap is showing, despite Dr Gu's valiant efforts to reassure her. I am even more invested now in their story to see how they eventually overcome their hurdles.

(Kudos to the two very talented actors who can portray this emotional time so realistically)

Come to think of it, there is already one Gu Wei in real life. It is Xiao Zhan. He is a very talented actor who can make all his diverse characters come to life, but I do believe that Gu Wei is him.

Agree, Dr Gu Wei is the ultimate Bold Male lead. Once he is sure LZX is who he wants and has made up his mind, he doesnt let go- he fights for her and with her till the end.
