I need a really honest opinion about the change between Jung Somin and Go Yoon Jung; although I know that this…
as a person who watched part 1 thinking "it would make zero sense if they change the fl in part 2. i'd hate it" let me tell you how wrong i was. i cannot answer from a binge watcher's perspective as i had that break between two parts as i was watching while it was airing. it could be that the break decreased my attachment to somin, or made me more open to the change. nevertheless, i'm absolutely enjoying the season so far and not once did i think "if somin had come back." even during flashback scenes i found myself not wanting to see her (mudeok) with jang uk because that's not the actual appearance of naksu. this season feels more real because we have naksu in her true form and not in some body she soul shifted to. although the personality has changed, there are moments which makes me feel "yes! this is the naksu that uk fell for." gyj is doing an amazing job and i have sm respect for her!

i don't think she has gotten rid of it. she surely still has it within her which is why she needs the medicine.…
that sounds more plausible. i had noticed the rotting but hadn't really caught onto it. i was also confused how she was dividing the medicine between her and yul, it makes more sense that she'd give it all to yul instead of taking any herself

ok i dont like heo yoon ok this season, she was likeable in the first one but now she is just a jealous person…
i don't think she has gotten rid of it. she surely still has it within her which is why she needs the medicine. and jinmu is using the medicine as a way to control her. unlike yul, she isn't hurting because while yul refuses to take the medicine she has been taking them routinely.

I thought he knew Mu Deok was being controlled when she stabbed him. He kept calling her name and after a while…
well when he was getting killed it had already been revealed that he was the brother of the shaman who soul shifted to the queen's body. since people like shamans and assassins and such are considered to be people who engage with black magic, it's easy to assume that they would've been acquainted and naksu had a fallout with them. so her killing the guy doesn't really look that suspicious. also just because she's an assassin doesn't mean she has to kill everyone there. she came to kill him, and once she got done with that since the other two were posing no danger to her, she left just like that. i don't see why anyone would investigate "why naksu did what she did?" because one, this is no modern detective drama. two, to them naksu was the enemy and her 'reasons' are of no importance at all. we feel a connection to naksu as viewers because we've been familiarised to her in that way. to these other characters from the drama she's simply a monster who has killed multiple people.

the kiss was so sudden. if he did it knowing it was buyeon, i have a feeling he'll blame the alcohol and avoid her after it. if he did it thinking she's mudeok, then also he might do the same. i'm just worried that this is not a good sign... there's no way he let go of mudeok just like that. i feel like the more he's drawn to her, he'd try to create more distance between them inorder to stay loyal to the "dead" naksu. this is all so complicated! maybe i'm being paranoid for nothing... but something is off...

it looks suspicious to us because we know the story. from a character's perspective (when they've heard all these nasty tales of brute less shadow assassin naksu) mudeok was just a tool naksu used to hide her original form and lie and manipulate other people into believing she's just an ordinary maid. so her acting out of character would've looked like naksu finally showing her true colours to danggu and choyeon.

what reference are you talking about?
the try to pick the honey ricecakes and avoid the kanari (fish sauce) one is a reference to the pick coffee and avoid fish sauce game they often play on korean variety show 'two days & one night.' park jin even said something along the lines of "i thought about it for 2days & 1night"

That 2D1N reference caught me off guard haha. But seriously, Jang Uk being cold-hearted on the outside but a softy…
i swear it was so funny XD and the way it was dropped in subtly but also very obviously lol iygwim

it's frustrating how they view naksu and buyeon as seperate, even she herself thinking naksu is just some other person. but it's only natural to think that because not many people know mudeok was buyeon, and who'd have thought the ridiculous way buyeon's mother would bring back her body to life. but i'm still upset that uk is treating her so coldly. ugh! it's funny how he's staying loyal to his love for naksu by coldshoulder-ing NAKSU!!!

Idk why people are upset with yul's storyline. He's so not the annoying second lead in most dramas. He's already suffering from the worm, and also the never ending contemplation of "If I had revealed Naksu's identity when I found out, or took her away with me, would things have turned out differently? Did I make the right choices? Have my decisions led to this disastrous outcome?" I just feel bad for the guy and hope he realises that none of this is his fault.

I would only like for Yul to be an instrument to make Jang Uk further realize he has feelings for her, and Yul…
he has always been the good guy. i actually wouldn't mind if for once he decides to act according to his heart instead of regretting things later. also, atm the marriage is a sham, her using him to get out of jinyowon and him using her in hopes of getting the ice stone out of him.

Title Love Catcher in Bali Spoiler
I think the 3 money catchers are: Hyojin, Seongyeon & Seungbeom. Due to some evidence people have found on twitter…
i have this theory that soojin is a money catcher bc right from the beginning although she had interest in yongho, her reason for avoiding him was "he's a money catcher." unlike the other participants she has been constantly assessing about who's a money catcher right from the beginning. Her obsession over someone being love or money instead of trying to find a suitable partner just makes me think she is indeed a money catcher.
